Perfect little cottage

This is our 3rd time coming to Dewey Beach and this is by far our favorite place we have stayed. The cottage was perfect for our needs and communication with the owner was instant. You are steps away from the beach and have a large screened in porch to relax on.

Fantastic Dewey Beach Cottage close to Beach

Fantastic renovcation, well appointed. Great parking, location to Dewey Beach activities and beach overall. Great all around for families or couples.

Great spot

We had a great time for the week we stayed. It was just a minutes walk to the beach and right around the corner were all the restaurants and shops. The place had been renovated nicely and made for easy cleanups after the kids. It is cozy, but it wasn’t a bad thing since we didn’t spend too much time there. Matt was quick to answer questions and provided all the information necessary to check in and out.

Location, Location, Location!

Our 3rd time staying at the Plover Cottage and another outstanding vacation! The beach is a 3-minute walk and the cottage is updated, cozy, and very comfortable. Dewey Beach is very dog friendly and dogs are welcome on the beach until 9:30am and after 5:30pm in the summer. The cottage is very close to Dewey Beach restaurants -- try the Sunny side Up Grille on the next block for excellent, inexpensive breakfasts and lunches. Rehoboth is a short car ride away and less than 25 min walk.

Family Getaway

Perfect location for a week long family getaway at the beach. Close to beach access, restaurants, ice cream, and more. A short drive to either the Rehoboth or Bethany boardwalks. Overall a great trip!

Loved Plover Cottage

Plover Cottage is a tiny, but adorable place to spend a week in Dewey. The location is amazing! Our dogs were beyond happy to be on vacation with us, and made so many friends at the beach. Dewey is extremely dog friendly. We were on the beach in the mornings and evenings with our dogs. They loved it. The cottage has everything you need. The location of the cottage in Dewey is beyond. You can park your car and walk to everything the entire week if you wish. Our family of four plus our two dogs had an amazing week!!

Great location and stay

The property is located at a great location- very close walk to the beach. Parking is tough in the area so it is really nice there is a parking lot out front with reserved parking. We also liked the cottage feel (instead of staying in a condo). Everything was clean and comfortable. Bringing our dog was also a huge plus for us. We would recommend/stay again!

Excellent Location

Very comfortable and cozy fully renovated cottage within 2-min walk to the beach! Pet friendly and many thoughtful touches such as high-speed internet, cable, lots of hooks for clothing and beach towels, ceiling fans, and nicely appointed kitchen. Dewey Beach is very dog friendly, which is a bonus. Also only 1 mile to downtown Rehoboth.

Just Right

Plover Cottage was great. It's location provides close access to the beach and so much more. It's a great place to explore all that Sussex Beaches have to offer. Our dog Luna loved it too! It was her first beach experience and loved playing with the crabs at night.

Small cottage, steps from the beach, for two!

The value of this cottage is that it's steps from the beach for a small group of people. In our case it was for two adults. Cottage is nicely updated with all the kitchen amenities. It's definitely small but has all you need for the beach, even washer and dryer. Could use more natural light but in general, it was perfect for what we were looking for.

Great Vacation!

My daughter and I and our dog had a great time in Dewey Beach. We hit the beach early every day to play ball with the dog. The location is perfect and we enjoyed cooking dinners and watching movies after dinner on the couch. The bungalow was perfect for the three of us. We also enjoyed the porch and the parking lot - great to not have to park on the street.

Perfect beach getaway!

Beautiful, peaceful, clutter-free cottage just steps from the beach. Clean and up-to-date property. Everything was as we hoped it would be. Even the bed was comfy. Can't wait for our next visit!

It's 60 yards from the beach! And, the cottages are set back from the street so there is privacy and less noise.
