Older but kept up nicely. This is our 2nd time staying here. Can't beat the location! Close to town center and ocean front is incredible. We were able to check in a bit early which was great. It is only 1 house down from a beach access so beach gets a bit crowded. Outdoor shower is nice. Kitchen is stocked w/ whatever you need.

Loved this house, it is so cute and very clean. The owner was amazing about communication and we had a great time. Only unexpected we had was the 2 twin beds. They're more roll away cots, which wasn't a huge issue since we had real beds for everyone staying the whole week. But they will be against the main beds if you try to put one out in the bedroom. And adults may not be comfortable on them. Would definitely stay here again!

Ocean View was great for our family vacation this summer. Steve Martin was great and answered all my questions during our stay. We all had a great time. The house had plenty of hot water at all times for showers. And the AC worked great all week. It was a really hot week outdoors and we were all thankful for the cool house to come back to. Check in was super easy and wifi worked great also. Its in a great location on the beach and we even were able to witness baby turtles being born and returning to the ocean.

Great beach location

I have nothing negative to say about this property or it's owner. This wasn't our first time staying here and it definitely won't be our last time. Several upgrades have been done on the property, and they are great! See you next time....

Perfect location

I highly recommend this property, absolutely gorgeous views and we loved being directly on the beach. The house is exactly as pictured, clean & cozy and well appointed kitchen. Plenty of room for the 8 adults on our trip, we all loved it and look forward to coming back!

Fantastic Location

We had a fabulous family vacation in Ocean Isle. Home was located right on the water and close to everything we needed. We will surely be back! Plenty of space for 3 couples and a baby ❀ and a very well-stocked kitchen!

OIB in the fall— can’t beat it

Quaint, original ocean front (since Hurricane Hazel) wonderfully maintained with updated appliances and clean as a whistle. Had absolute delightful time with family and old friends dropping by. Not a lot of room, but plenty enough, since the Atlantic Ocean is in the backyard.

wonderful little beach house

This is the second time we have stayed at Mr. Martin's place and really enjoyed our time there. It is so convenient to everything and we really like the fact that it's right on the beach. The kitchen is very well stocked and we certainly made use of it on several occasions! The house is clean and inviting and we look forward to staying again. I would recommend this house to family and friends. Always, Mr. Martin is a pleasure to work with.

Baby's First OIB Trip!

We had a lovely week at Ocean View. Communication with Steve was great. The property was a short walk to the pier and shops, and we loved being oceanfront. My family has been coming to OIB for over 30 years, and we wanted our 4-month-old son's first beach experience to be in a traditional cottage like we stayed in as kids!

New Years at OIB

My family of 4 came down for a long New Years weekend and did nothing but relax, eat good food, and walk on the beach! We’ve stayed at the Ocean View several times now and always have a great visit. The home is clean, in good shape, and comes as advertised. And not to mention, right on the beach! The communication with the owner is amazing and he makes sure you know/have everything you need before you arrive. There’s no doubt, we’ll be back again!

Nothing Fancy, But Still a Great House

While the house was a bit dated, it suited our needs just fine. The house is right on the beach and is a short drive to some fantastic restaurants (especially in Calabash). It was an overall pretty clean property with a few areas that needed dusted, but nothing that made any of us cringe. Pots, pans, and eating and cooking utensils were available. Overall, we had a really great time, and the house was perfect for us!

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Right on the Atlantic Ocean and close to the Ocean Isle Beach pier, Town Center Park, shopping, restaurants, bars and Town of Ocean Isle Beach. There is a sidewalk at the house leading to downtown. I will make sure the house is clean and ready when you arrive. I am also easy to reach should you have a question or a problem. The best way to reach me is my cell phone. I also text.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The Ocean View is unique because this type of cottage is rarely found at Ocean Isle Beach. Sit on the covered porch and watch the sunrise & sunset!!
