Very pleased with our stay. The cottage had everything we needed, clean and well kept up. Location was great just off the beaten path, yet close enough to easily walk into town. Overall, the family had a comfortable and enjoyable time. Would recommend this cottage to anyone, and for a repeat visit in Lake Placid.

Bachelor party

The house was perfect for our group of 10 with plenty of room to sleep and it looked even better in person. Dave (the owner) and Kim (property manager) were both so great and were more than accommodating. Highly recommend booking as we will be rebooking next time we go.

Great house and location

We had a wonderful stay here. My husband was completing his winter 46ers this weekend, so this was a very convenient location for getting to the trailheads at the Adirondack Loj, as well as for walking into town. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the game room was fun. There was about a foot of snow while we were there, and it was a cozy spot to enjoy the storm! The road was not plowed while we were there so if snow is in the forecast, come prepared with shovels. We all have AWD cars so we had no issues. We were able to fit 7 cars but any more than that would be too tight. Would definitely stay here again!

Thank you for such a great time. My whole family was there and not one person didn't have a good time. Close to everything we wanted to do and the scenery was beautiful. It's like a whole different world. The snow on the trees was beautiful. Highly recommend place to go.

Annual Fall Golf Outing

17th year of our annual fall golf outing. We’ve been friends for 20+ years. Attendance is between 6-9 guys each year. Some working still, some retired, some living in NY, some living out of state. One way or another we make it every year and had a great time. The house is great. It’s nice sharing a house instead of hotel rooms.

Spacious house

This was a great house for our two families! The 5 bedrooms each felt very private. Air hockey and pop a shot were a hit with the kids (and dads) and it was nice to have two tv areas. River view was nice too!

Was in the area for some ski races. House was a great location to downtown and convenient to access. Game room was a big hit. Was great for a group of adults.

A Marvelous Stay

We very much enjoyed the property and it's private stairway to the babbling waters. We appreciated it's close proximity to everything we wanted to do, while still being very private. We were happy to have such a great space to have our family's first post covid reunion. And David and Kim were easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

A lovely getaway within walking distance of all Lake Placid has to offer! The property is clean and spacious, exactly as advertised. Kim, the property manager is a fantastic communicator, and I cannot recommend this rental enough!

Nice, quiet spot near downtown Lake Placid

Overall, had a nice stay - great backyard and lots of space for people. We had some trouble sleeping on the pretty firm beds and pillows that didn't suit our sleeping style. If possible, bring your own pillows. The backyard is completely wonderful and the host is responsive. Thanks!

This is our second time staying in the house, and we will definitely be back again for a 3rd! House is well stocked, clean, and convenient to walk to town. Lots of exploring down at the Brook for our kids. Recently upgraded amenities, and several new appliances. Great house for families or friends to share for a weekend or a week!
