Detta nyligen renoverade 3-sovrumssjö hemma, som byggdes 1908 och myllar av historia, är det perfekta stället att tillbringa din semester på!

Detta hus har ett stort stort rum med ett stort kök, matsal och vardagsrum. En skjutreglage ut mot däck erbjuder panoramautsikt i alla riktningar av sjön. De två större sovrummen har fönster mot sjön. Canadarago Lake, om du inte är bekant med den, är ungefär fyra miles lång och en mil tvärs över. En kanot och två kajaker finns tillgängliga för din användning (flytvästar tillhandahålls). Bakers Beach är rätt i närheten också!

Tvättmaskin / torktumlare (och tvättmedel) ligger precis på första våningen och sängkläder och handdukar finns. Köket är fullt utrustat med krukor, kastruller, kryddor och liknande. Parkering för upp till 3 bilar framför garaget tvärs över gatan från huset.

Hemmet ligger 15 minuter från Cooperstown och 20 minuter från Cooperstown Dreams Park.

Great place for our weekend stay

My husband and I met friends here for a weekend, and we really enjoyed the house. The hosts communication prior to check in was very helpful. When we arrived, we found the house neat and clean. The hosts left a nice note and some basic convenience items, and also provided a book with some local recommendations. The view from the back deck is very nice, as is the dock below. Our group enjoyed fishing from the dock, canoeing, and having a campfire at night. While the house is next to a busy road, we weren’t disturbed by the noise in the bedrooms facing the lake. When it came time to check out, we appreciated that there were only a few simple instructions to follow..

Baseball tourney

We used the house for our base while our son played in a tournament in Cooperstown. It was a very easy ride of 20 minutes one way, which was a perfect distance away! House and the lake were great!!

Lakehouse living at its finest

The lake house at Camp Unadilla is clean, stocked with all your needs, with beautiful views of the lake. My family of 5 had space to relax and spread out. It was a perfect restful home for the last leg of our summer trip. And it was just a short drive to Cooperstown to explore the Baseball Hall of Fame, which was the main reason for our visit. Brian was informative with prompt communication and alerted us of a harmful algae bloom and how to manage it during our stay, which we greatly appreciated. We highly recommend staying at Camp Unadilla. You won't be disappointed.

Perfect Spot

We stayed at the property during our son's week at Cooperstown Field of Dreams. The house was amazing and an easy drive to the fields. The kayaks and fishing kept my daughters amused during the downtime. Overall it was an amazing stay.

weekend stay

The place was okay, close to busy road but well kept. We never received an email with an access code so getting in was stressful. This was not the owner's fault, as they sent it to the app weeks ago, but we did not know that because we were not notified by text or email by VRBO that it was there and tend to use email not the app. We were notified by email, however, a couple of days before our stay, that the lake water was unsafe, and that we should bring bottled water, but that it was okay to use the shower if the lake looked okay. So we didn't swim for one thing. This was confusing, was the household drinking water coming from the lake? So, it was hot, but we did not take showers or swim while there. And as there was no drinking water, it would have helped if some had been provided, as we had to go out of our way to obtain gallons of water. Clearer instructions about showering would have required the owners, not us, doing some research. There is an induction stove, but the frying pans are worn and bowed, so making pancakes was tricky. There was a tiny bit of stale coffee in the house, and no way to make less than 6 cups in the programed coffee maker, unless you bring your own K cups. A carrot peeler would have been helpful. All in all, the place was clean and well kept except for the kitchen being poorly stocked. Our communication with the owners was very pleasant. Just a little bit disappointing all in all, for reasons stated, and not as relaxing as we had hoped.

Amazing Lake House. Extremely Clean and Cozy. Host’s accommodations were outstanding. Have another playing in Cooperstown Dreams Park next year already talking about booking this again!

Our family had a very nice relaxing time. The house was very clean inside and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The view of the lake is amazing and we had fun using the kayaks. We really enjoyed sitting by the fire pit at night.

Great lake property

We were very happy with the property and everything was exactly as described. Brian was very communicative and accommodating, and it wound up being a perfect spot for the family to base itself while our son was at Dreams Park. The property is literally alongside the roadway, which has fast traffic, but we never seemed to notice the cars once inside.

Camp Unadilla Is a great property on the lake. The owners were very quick to respond to questions and helped us arrange a grocery delivery with the cleaning staff to our arrival.

Amazing Location

The house is by far one of the cleanest we've ever stayed at. The charm can't be beat. The location with the lake access made the trip unforgettable! We had a wonderful time fishing, kayaking, canoeing and enjoying the view. The owners answered every question and concern we had. We will definitely be back!

Making the best of a snowstorm and power outage

Despite having to depart a couple days early due to a fluke spring snowstorm, which left the area without power, my husband, 2 boys and 8 managed to make the best of a situation that was beyond anyone’s control. As soon as I informed Jennie and Brian that the home had lost power, they immediately did everything they possibly could to assist. From contacting the power company to treating us to a meal when they realized we weren’t going to be able to cook that morning at the house, they were with us every step of the way. Unfortunately after touring the hall of fame, we ended up having to leave due to the power company not having a firm date of restoration, and with no rooms available. The owners also offered to help us find alternative accommodation with another host, but we decided for the safety of our family, that it was best to head back home. Despite having to leave, we really enjoyed the home. The location is beautiful, the accommodations were spotless, and we hope to return when it isn’t snowing! Also full disclosure that the owners graciously provided a full refund of our stay, for all three nights, without me even having to ask about it. We truly appreciated their generosity and efforts, and hopefully we can return soon in the warmer weather!

Lovely-lake side vacation

Everything was terrific during our stay. The hosts communicated really well about the stay and check-in. Camp Unadilla was very clean, decorated so nicely, and appointed with everything we could need, including board games. The beds were so comfortable too. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Mini family getaway

Very nice place on a beautiful lake

Owners were easy to deal with. The home was super clean and about 10 miles to downtown Cooperstown. Morning coffee on the deck and docks was beautiful. Comfortable mattresses. The house is right on a busy road and can be somewhat noisy. More of a nuisance than disruptive.

Girl's Weekend

We really enjoyed ourselves. The girls in my family like to do an annual weekend getaway and this home was perfect for it. We enjoyed taking the canoe and kayaks out and watching the boats go by on the dock. Thanks for allowing us in your cabin!

Amazing view, super clean, family friendly

We had an amazing stay at Camp Unadilla! The view from the house was so beautiful, and we had so much fun relaxing by the water, canoeing, and star gazing by the fire pit. Wonderful Home and Location

We thought Unadilla was a fantastic rental! So well decorated—a real first in rental homes. It was so terrific to kayak and canoe daily. The kids loved jumping off the dock. The home came with so many amenities and the beds were really comfortable! It’s about 15 min to Cooperstown, in case you’re coming with baseball players. Jennie and Brian were very responsive owners and very helpful through your stay. I highly recommend this home!

Great Lake Location

We came here for a Cooperstown Dreams Park baseball tournament and LOVED Camp Unadilla. It's 15 minutes from downtown Cooperstown and 20 minutes from Dreams Park. Camp Unadilla offers the best of both worlds; a lake vacation with swimming and boating and easy access to Cooperstown. The Camp was clean, modern and the beds were really comfortable! Brian and Jennie were excellent with their communication and made us feel welcome and well cared after. I highly recommend staying at Camp Unadilla.

Wonderful!

We loved our stay at Camp Unadilla. don’t let the name fool you, it was a very lovely lake house. The house was extremely clean and nicely decorated, modern meats casual chic. The spot was great and we could relax either on the 2nd floor balcony or on the dock, each had a fantastic view of the lake and we loved being directly on the water. The house accommodated the five of us very well. Roomy, super clean, charming, nice kitchen. The only caveat might be for people who love to swim. It is a lake- so you know it might be mucky on the bottom- bring old sneakers LOL. However there was also a lot of plant life in the water. If you swim out far enough you won’t run into it- but when leaving the dock it is almost impossible to avoid. Our adult children would not swim. Maybe this is typical of most lakes. We did rent a pontoon boat in Cooperstown, which was really fun. The one we rented came with a tube and we got our “swimming” in that way.

We have a lot of family in Cooperstown and grew up visiting the area often. I live in Albany with my wife and our son, Charlie.

Breathtaking views of the lake and beautifully landscaped steps down to the water. Recently added spray foam insulation keeps this home cool in the summer and cozy in the winter. This house has all the amenities and comfort of a full-time residence yet the charming simplicity of a camp or weekend getaway. We love that it is close to Cooperstown's restaurants, breweries, shopping, and fun!
