”Var vår gäst” ... Vårt hem är en historisk stadsbostad från 1882 från 1882 i centrala Frederick. Medan vi (John & Sarah) bor på de två nedre nivåerna, skulle vi gärna välkomna dig till din egen privata lägenhet på 3: e våningen. Utrymmet är vackert och består av fyra rum ... ett familjerum, pentry, komplett badrum med dusch och ett drottningssovrum. Ytterdörren delas med ägarna, men en gång inuti leder trapporna (32 totalt) direkt upp till din helt privata lägenhet. Vi har ett knapplöst tangentbord för din integritet.

Läge, plats, plats! Hemmet ligger på en lugn, bostadsgata bara 1 kvarter från all action på Market Street och centrala Frederick. Du är bokstavligen gångavstånd till dussintals fantastiska restauranger, barer, butiker, Baker Park, Culler Lake, Carroll Creek, etc. Vi erbjuder gratis parkering för 2 fordon.

Medan vi ser fram emot att välkomna dig till Frederick och är tillgängliga om du har frågor, uppskattar vi våra gästeras integritet. Interaktion med ägarna är upp till dig. Vi vill att du ska känna dig som hemma, koppla av och njuta.

Kom ihåg att vi har en söt 13-årig shihpoo, Oliver. Han tappar inte för att han är en del av pudeln. Han är en älskling och tillbringar större delen av sin dag med att sova.

När det gäller din lägenhet ...

Sovrum: Queen size-säng med allergivänliga kuddar och dyne för 2 personer. Vi tillhandahåller alla lakan, filtar och handdukar. Det finns en stol och bänk för ditt bagage.

Familjerum: en stor, bekväm sektion för att koppla av. Vi har lakan, filtar och kuddar för ytterligare 2 personer. Efter en hel dag utforska hoppas vi att du sparkar upp och kopplar av framför tv: n (med kabel).

Pentry: Frederick har massor av fantastiska restauranger. Men om du är på humör att äta i, ger vi alla grunderna !! I pentryet hittar du ett litet kylskåp, handfat, mikrovågsugn / brödrost, kokplatta, kaffebryggare (med kaffe) och massor av bordservice.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Private and walkable to all the shops and restaurants. Hosts we very welcoming. Will definitely come again!

Great stay

This is our 2nd visit and it did not disappoint. The area was nice and clean, the bed was comfy and it was close to everything! Next time will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful apartment space close to everything

Wonderful converted top level of historic home so close to everything. Even though we go to Frederick often, the owner was still able to give us a few tips and ideas that were new, so that's always a great thing!

A wonderful getaway!

Oliver’s Retreat was a lovely place to spend the weekend. The location was wonderful, easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and the Weinberg theater. The apartment was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Parallel parking in front of the home was free on the weekends. The owner, Sarah, was very friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend staying here.

Great location!

Cute apartment, friendly host and ideal location! We were close enough to take day trips to Washington DC, but thoroughly enjoyed exploring all that Frederick had to offer.

Quick visit to Frederick

You can't beat this location—a great apartment in the heart of Frederick. We didn't need our car one time. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, eat, and shop. It is only blocks away from Carroll Creek Park. The description of the apartment is spot on. Would definitely stay again. Sarah, thanks for the great stay.

Great for a weekend getaway

What a fun little property! Well laid out. It's up some narrow stairs, so make sure you don't have mobility issues if you reserve this space. Loved the living room with robust couch area. Clean and well decorated. Cable TV a plus. Just a few blocks from downtown Fredrick, making it a perfect place to stay walkability wise. Great host who was very communicative and helpful. Enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Location

Oliver's Retreat was perfect for New Year's downtown. Lots of great restaurants and bars just a block away. Our host was very easy to communicate with and the home was not and clean. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great time at Olivers Retreat. The location was excellent and the apartment is very nice (tastefully decorated, good size, well equipped with pretty much everything you need … and a very comfortable bed). Overall a very pleasant weekend.

Cozy Spot Downtown

We had a lovely time at Oliver's retreat. The host was accommodating and easy to get in touch with. The location is perfect, minutes from downtown restaurants and pubs. And the home is historic and has a nice scent of oak wood.

Heart of Frederick

We wanted to experience downtown Frederick, and this was just the place from which to do that. Walking distance from many restaurants and shops. Close to Baker Park where there is music on Sunday. Short distance to Carroll Creek water way and walk. Lovely neighborhood!

Great Stay

We had 4 people sleep here comfortably. My sister and I took the couch while the other two shared the bed. This host was amazing and had really made the 2nd floor super comfortable. It's also a great location! We all walked around town and was easy to find parking while we were there. It is street parking so she did have to give us a parking slip to hang in our car. Would definitely stay here again whenever I'm back in the area!

Character & Charm

Check in was simple with very clear instructions from Owner. Apt. was clean and nicely furnished. Comfortable bed, very silky sheets. Plenty of towels in the washroom. A small stall shower, but great water pressure and temp. It was quite on the 3rd floor. The accommodations were everything needed, and I'd stay again.

An Amazing Weekend Getaway

My husband and I stayed at Oliver's Retreat back in March (2023) for a long weekend getaway. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and had always wanted to stay in downtown Frederick. Oliver's Retreat was perfect! We were within walking distance to many restaurants and shops, including my favorite bookstore Curious Iguana. We were also only a short 15 minute drive to both the North and South Frederick Overlooks in Gambril State Park. We loved the coziness and charm of Oliver's Retreat and we would happily stay again!

Charming apartment close too restaurants and shops!

Oliver's retreat is a charming, immaculate apartment that is only a few blocks from restaurants and shops. It was terrific for a girls weekend! Though the apartment is best for 2 people, the 4 of us had plenty of room. Two friends slept on the sectional sofas in living room, which were more comfortable than most sleep sofas. Sarah and I texted and she left the key for us, so it was like we had a completely separate entrance to the apartment. Sarah was extremely responsive anytime I texted her. Highly recommend this apartment!

Oliver’s Retreat: lovely apartment, fantastic location

The apartment was perfect for our 2-night getaway. Since we were there on the weekend, we could easily park in front of the home. We didn’t need our car again until we left. We had a foodie weekend hitting coffee houses, restaurants and breweries/taprooms. The 3rd floor apartment was a perfect size for the 2 of us. Lovely decor with local art. The kitchen had the necessities, so no big cooking, but we brought cheese, almonds, bananas, etc. for snacking and a quick breakfast. We forgot to bring our coffee, but thankfully Sarah provided some in the kitchen! That held us off until we could get out to one of several cafes. We felt so comfortable in the apartment, and grateful for Sarah’s friendly communication.
