It was a wonderful place to stay and the hosts were very accommodating and were there if I needed them right next door but did not intrude at all in my privacy. Everything was just wonderful and I am looking forward to staying there again.

Lovely Apartment in a Great Location

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The check-in process was easy and communication with the hosts was wonderful. They had snacks, a bottle of wine and a nice thank you card waiting for our arrival. We also appreciated the great location that was walking distance to shopping. We would definitely stay here again!

Outstanding, immaculate place

What's not to love? Fantastic neighborhood, beautiful, quiet, plenty of space to park, could walk to Trader Joe's! Clean place, gas stove, and dark enough for this 3rd shift worker to sleep during the day. Looking forward to staying here next time I'm anywhere near Campbell/San Jose!

Comfortable and Welcoming

We stayed in this rental home for seven nights while we were in San Jose to visit our son and his family. It was wonderful to return to this cozy, comfortable, and welcoming home away from home every evening. The decor is pleasant and the kitchen was well supplied with all we needed for preparing breakfast, including food items in the cabinets and refrigerator. The owners are so gracious and thoughtful. Comfortable and cozy. Beautiful upscale appliances with accurate instructions. Double sinks and rain shower in bathroom. TV in living room and bedroom. All cabinets are labeled with their contents. Host is very responsive to requests.

Best VRBO and host ever!

My husband and I was looking for a room that we could go to San Francisco, Big Sur, Monterey, and Carmel yet stay in the same room. This is the perfect location! And Murthy has the best communication of any VRBO that we have ever rented from. Plus the room is very nice, very clean, and very well stocked! Murthy knew it was our 35th wedding anniversary and even had champagne, a beautiful and delicious cake!, and some nice candy for us! We loved our room and host! If you’re looking for the perfect room and location, this is it! And the neighborhood is very nice and quiet. Thank you again, Murthy!

Perfect!

I needed a place to stay near my son and his family. What I got was an amazing private apartment with high end furnishings in an absolutely perfect location. It was sparkling clean. The kitchen is completely outfitted. The bed is super comfortable and there is more than enough storage in the closet. The bathroom is very large. There is even a washer and dryer! The neighborhood is quiet yet shopping is just a few minutes walk away. Thank you Murthy and Rima!

Great stay, great hosts

Very nice attached home. Every necessary item stocked. We never had to request anything as it was there. We had a problem figuring out the TV and the host appeared in less than 10 minutes and gave us clear instructions. This is very busy city, with fast drivers. This location is off the main roads, nice quiet residential area, yet still within easy walking distance to many nice shops and stores, including TraderJoes, Sprouts and Starbucks. Plus Westgate West Shopping Mall.

Top notch from all the cabinets and lights being labeled to make finding everything extremely easy. The unit was very clean and comfortable. Everything you need from grocery store to restaurants is basically within walking distance. The owners really care about you enjoying your stay, there was a small wreck at the intersection of the main highway that caused the power to go out for 25 minutes. Within five minutes of the power going out the owners brought over candles so I would not be in the dark. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great, cozy place

Our flight was supposed to arrive early and the host were quite gracious to make arrangements for an early check-in or to keep our luggage if an early check-in would not be available. We got there much later than anticipated and pulled into a nice quiet neighborhood , gratefully finding snacks, chocolate and beverages waiting for us in the kitchen. The home is very clean and organized. We appreciate that we could recycle and that there was an outdoor table and chairs available. The bathroom is large with a roomy shower. Plenty of hooks are throughout the unit and we appreciated the reading lights. It was comfortable for two adults and your host are generous and quick to remedy any tiny challenge you might have. We would definitely stay here again. Roaring Camp railroad was an enjoyable activity in the area. 5 Stars!

Nicely appointed small 1BR in a good location

We had a nice few days here. Appreciated the advance communication from the hosts, as well as their helpfulness on restaurants & early checkin. The unit was clean & had everything we needed to cook meals and dine at the kitchen bar. The futon sofa was comfortable for two to sit & watch tv. I had thought it might be awkward to watch the living room tv since it was up so high on the wall, but it was fine. Also appreciated the large bedroom tv so we could each watch our own show in different rooms. Loved having two sinks in the bathroom & a big shower. The bed was a bit too firm for me – hurt my hip to sleep on my side; but on my back was fine. Really appreciated a full size washer/dryer. For a couple on the road for four weeks, there wasn’t quite enough storage for all of our things, but we put them against the wall in the living room & our clothes fit fine hanging in the closet; no real drawer space. Our golf clubs had to stay in the car, but it seemed pretty safe and we had no issues. Street parking was easy. Unit and street were both really quiet but the location completely walkable to a Trader Joe’s and major shopping center with plenty of shops and dining. My only real complaint was that the AC would reset to 70 degrees and for people that keep it at 76-78 at night, that was way too cold to sleep. Would stay here again.

We are husband and wife who have lived here since 2009. I am an engineer employed in Hi-Tech here in Silicon Valley while my wife is a counselor employed at a local university. Originally from India, we have now been in the U.S for more than 35 years and have lived all over the western US including Puyallup, Washington; Colorado Springs, Colorado, Phoenix, Arizona; Folsom, California before finally settling in San Jose, California. We love traveling ourselves, having covered all 50 states, 7 continents, and about half way through our goal of seeing 100 countries! We love history, the movies and a good book for those lazy summer or cold winter days.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We fell in love with its location in a beautiful, residential neighborhood as well as it's close proximity to shopping, restaurants, movie theaters, stores and malls all within 5 min walking distance.Its central location, with easy freeway access also means very easy commutes to major silicon valley employers, universities, colleges and local attractions. There is also incredible hiking within 5 miles. All in all this to us is paradise on earth!
