Great family vacation!

Loved the property, all the wildlife, and the fruit trees! Plenty of room, super nice hot tub and the pond was a blast! Too bad we couldn’t use the fire pit.

Relaxing, private home for a large family or group

First of all, the house is very private, situated on several acres with its own pond yet only 5 minutes from downtown Friday Harbor. The house has a game room with plenty to keep adults and kids entertained. The indoor and outdoor common areas are spacious yet cozy. The bedrooms are comfortable when you need some time away from the group. The kitchen is well stocked with a wide range of pots, pans, and casserole dishes. There are two different coffee makers to keep the caffeine flowing. I’ll definitely come back if I ever need a home that can accommodate 8-10 comfortably.

Best house we’ve ever rented!

The house was amazing. Incredible views of the pond/lake in the backyard and the valley beyond. There were so many fun activities to do with the lake (zip line, floating doc, paddle boat, rowboat, paddle board) that the kids always wanted to stay at the house all day. The kitchen was also beautiful and everyone enjoyed lounging in the common area. We’d love to go back someday!

Awesome place to stay with a larger group. Kitchen is great for group meals and there's so much to do on the property that 3 nights was hardly enough. 10ish minute walk to Friday Harbour was very convenient.

Amazing getaway!

The house was impeccable, check in process was amazing, and the overall house and property was exactly what my wife and I were looking for in our romantic weekend on Friday Harbor. The zip line was such a cool concept, we loved it!

Summer Weekend

Great property, kitchen is amazing, grounds are amazing, super relaxing and enjoyable. Only issue is we had a 4:00 pm check in and we were met by the cleaners explaining the prior guests didn't check out on time so we weren't allowed to enter the premesis until 4:30. While we were getting ready to check out, the cleaners showed up at 9:30. I guess I would say just respect the time of your guests. Other than that, great stay.

Beautiful House

We booked this location for our small family reunion. The house was so specious and very fun if you have kids. Location is also great. It’s walking distance to downtown Friday harbor and all the restaurants. We would definitely go back. Luckily, we didn’t have to call the management for anything but I am sure if we did, they would have got back to us.

Fabulous - It's a perfect family vacation home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would give it a 10 if I could. Great for all of us ages 4 months to 70 years. The home is beautiful and has enough room so we can all be together but not on top of each other. The pond with a zipline, rowboat and paddle boat gave us lots to do when we were not out exploring the beautiful Island. At night we sat around the propane fire table and talked late into the night. The 3 acres and pond attracted geese and deer and we loved the privacy. We used the hot tub morning and night. It is an easy walk to town so no need to worry about parking your car there. The property management company was very responsive and solved all our concerns almost instantly. We will definitely be back.

Awesome property

This beautiful property is as shown and is clean! The setting is PERFECT! Obviously a well-loved property. We used pretty much every amenity: zip line (totally awesome), paddle boat (didn't use the row boat), air hockey and corn hole. The jacuzzi was hot and ready to go. The kitchen had all the utensils and pans needed, missing condiments (except salt/pepper) but King's market is close by. Home is close enough for a walk into town. The only issue was the request by the owner to empty trash, start dishwasher and start a load of towels before leaving. We did all of these, but felt this is what the cleaning costs should/would cover. Would love to stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I travelled to the San Juan’s with her parents because we had heard such wonderful things about the area. We were not disappointed in the location generally or the house. The home is walking distance to Friday and a great base to explore from. Whale watching and excursions around San Juan and Orcas islands were fantastic.We were disappointed in the overall maintenance, mostly outside. Let me put it this way, my mother-in-law spent more of our vacation time cleaning POOP from windows, chairs, and decks than we anticipated. We understand that birds can’t be controlled, but we did expect the entrances into the house would be poop free and the back yard that is so prominent in the promotional picture would be useable. The dock, boats, fire pit, zip line, and sitting area, and back yard generally were in horrible condition. The area hadn’t been mowed in quite a while and there was goose poop all over the place. Other birds added their contributions to the decks, chairs, and walkways. The pond was so overgrown with whatever was growing in there that no one wanted to touch the water. The zip line was broken (but because we didn’t want to get in the water, we wouldn’t have used it anyway) and the boats were dirty with plenty of old water sitting in them.The cleaners were still there when we checked in at 4pm because the previous guests had apparently made such a mess of the place, including the hot tub. They worked hard to get the hot tub in working order, and was ready for our use on the second night. They also had someone mowing the front lawn on our 2nd to last day, so maybe we happened to rent the place at an unfortunate time before landscape maintenance could be completed.To end on a high note, we still enjoyed the spacious home with a fun game room and a tremendous view of the valley and distant hills. We all agreed that we would stay here again, but would request full maintenance be completed prior to our

The house very comfortably accommodated our group of 7. There is plenty of space to gather together as well as space to spend a quiet moment alone. The kitchen is well stocked. Looking across the pond and across the meadow will be a vision I keep in my mind forever.The owner, Steve ,was very helpful and informative when we had questions.We will definitely seek out this home the next time we come to Friday Harbor. The house was HUGE, very clean, super well equipped and the asks for clean up at check out weren’t too burdensome. There were tons of small appliances and kitchen utensils. Beds were comfortable, and the yard was beautiful. We saw deer daily, a bald eagle a few times, and turtles poking their heads out of the pond. Only one of us was brave enough for the zip line, but she had fun!

Unbelievable House and Setting!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect spot for us to spend an extended weekend for my stepdaughter's wedding. The house is just outside of town so a three-minute drive will find you in the heart of Friday Harbor....but you will also find yourself not wanting to leave the property. Our two families had more than enough space to spread out and the three 8 and 9 year olds were entertained for hours on end with the zipline, game room, and jacuzzi. The views from the expansive back patio are amazing toboot. And a friendly PSA: the photos online actually do not do it justice...the house is even bigger than it appears (you will get lost upstairs I promise you) and that kitchen island is what dreams are made of. ;) The owner was extremely responsive. When I asked him where I could pick up ping pong balls, he was over with a new pack before I had the chance to hit town. It was a little warm the day we arrived but there were fans throughout the house and it never felt uncomfortable. Oh yeah...there are two sets of washers and dryers! That right there will make any mom tear up a little. Haha. Anyhoo...if you're even considering this rental, just go for it. It's spectacular.
