Njut av spektakulära solnedgångar eller titta på båtarna dra in i marinan. Vår stuga har en queen size-säng och 2 enkelsängar som är extra bekväma om barnen väljer att gå med! Dina fyra benbarn är också välkomna! Ön är mycket husdjursvänlig och vi välkomnar dem som våra gäster också. Ett tillfälligt medlemskap i BHI är tillgängligt för ett separat köp.

Door Locks

The stay was great. There were two items with the stay that need addressing, one is that we couldn’t get the door to lock so we felt like we had to take our possessions with us every time we left the facility. Also, someone had left their Netflix account on the tv but required a code so we weren’t able to enter our own Netflix account.

Great Spot

Great spot for a quick getaway. We had a great 3 nights there and it is absolutely convenient to everything. Rental was very clean and perfectly set up for us when we arrived. Will stay there again on our next getaway.

First Island Stay

This was our first time staying on BHI. The Water cottage was very nice, well furnished. Loved our view of the marina.

Just a bit dirty underneath headboard of bed had to move bed to get to plug and noticed lots of other dirt hair debris otherwise needed overhead batteries for light in kitchen but nothing else !! LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION was all we needed

Loved Water!

Quaint and Cozy

Quaint and Cozy - everything you need in an efficiency style accommodation. My only recommendation would be for the management company to upgrade the towels. The towels were thin and a bit discolored.

Perfection on BHI

The property was perfect! I would def stay again. Loved location, bed and linens were upscale, clean, comfy. Only suggestions would be to add more specifics on vrbo around what is there (coffee maker is KCup etc) and fix door (handle is loose) and golf cart gave me no problems but it is older and slower. Communication around check in and check out via email or vrbo from company on BHI was minimal at best

Great Cottage

We enjoyed our stay immensely at this Bald Head Island property. Although small, the cottage is efficiently arranged. The golf cart worked fine and met our needs. We could not, however, find the switch fir the lights by the bed, so we had to unscrew the bulbs. It would be helpful to make a note of this in the welcome packet.

Simply perfect!

Everything was relaxing and easy. Just what a quick getaway is supposed to be. Golf cart was a must for us and had 0 issues with it. We had our boat at the marina so super convenient. If I had to suggest anything it would be an indoor door mat to help prevent sandy floors. Hard to not get sandy feet at the beach. Thank you!!!

Water Cottage - Bald Head Island Trip - March 26th-28th

My husband and I stayed at the Water cottage during our Southport Sailing & Boating Club trip to Bald Head Island. The cottage was very well situated on the marina, bright, nicely furnished and well appointed. It was cozy and perfect for us and our 16lb schnoodle for the weekend. The inclusion the use of a golf cart was a plus. The only reason we did not give it 5 stars was due to the cleaning. We paid a $70 non-refundable cleaning fee only to find upon arrival black dog hair everywhere. Our schnoodle does not shed, so we are not accustomed to having dog hair on our furniture, clothing or bedding. We did find a vacuum (which my husband had to empty and clean before we could use it as it seemed to be full of a powdery substance that looked like dry wall dust) and we vacuumed the couch and floors as best we could to remove the dog hair. There was also quite a bit of sand on the front porch and door mat and inside the entry which we swept and vacuumed. In short, we left the cottage far cleaner than how we found it. Also, just a suggestion: It would have been nice to have some sort of seating that faced the marina (rather than the large couch which had our backs to the marina). There is a small bistro table, and the addition of two small chairs would have been a easy way to have breakfast facing the marina. Maybe a single love seat couch rather than a double couch would be better to provide additional space. With a little better cleaning and the addition of marina view seating, this cottage would be a 5-star gem! Janet and Chris

Details matter

Great location, beautiful views of marina, comfortable bed. Needs some attention to small things: Light at bedside and tp holder coming out of wall, beach chair was broken/unusable and needed a good dusting. Would stay there again!
