Very disappointed when I arrived! Home was not cleaned like it looks in the pictures. Windows were dirty, furniture and appliances are very dated, cobwebs, Hair left behind from the previous occupant. We were asked to strip the bed linens, which is when I discovered how dirty and stained the pillows were, it made me sick.The Wi-Fi wasn’t working as well as it should have. I won’t refer friends to this property nor will I use it again unless it gets updated.

Catfish!

From the look up the pictures I saw, the place was beautiful. When we got there the outdoor entryway that looks like it has a pretty planter with plants is gone. No plants, just sand that covers half the brick planter. Entering the home immediately saw cobwebs and worn door, jams and walls. Furniture and kitchen appliances are very dated. In the pictures, everything was staged, super shiny polished stainless steel and crystal clear windows. This was not the case, windows are dirty which takes away the view. Also, after being asked to strip the bed of the sheets, I saw that the pillows we were using were very old and stained, it made me sick

Amazing beach house!!!

We had a wonderful time,the house is better than the pictures. We enjoyed cooking the kitchen is a dream. We enjoyed setting on the deck and walking on the beach. The only thing I would have changed was the no pet policy, we love our fur babies.

Lovely home with an amazing ocean view

We loved our stay. The house was clean and comfortable- and waking up every morning to the ocean was perfect. The beach out front was clean and always empty and peaceful. A lovely getaway. Hope to stay again soon!

Great Location unfortunately fell short for the cost

You couldn’t ask for a better location on the beach and steps from the beach. We had some issues with the house during our stay that was not addressed by the management company. The upstairs guest bathroom shower was broken. We informed the company on the first day and they said they would send someone to fix it and never did. We specifically looked for a house with three bathrooms with our family size. The master bathroom was loaded with bugs on arrival dead and alive filling the master bathtub. The bugs did not stop coming throughout our stay. The ovens in the kitchen did not work and we planned on cooking family dinners during our stay. On a positive note, the views from the master bedrooms were spectacular and the house was decorated very nicely. The hot tub was clean and worked great! There were plenty of beach toys to entertain our kids. All in all we had a wonderful time and would have made this rental our yearly spot for our travels to Oxnard. Unfortunately the communication was extremely poor. We understand things can happen but you need to address them and try to rectify the situation. Hopefully they can get their act together in the future.

Serene but not fancy

The view and the beach were amazing and our family enjoyed our stay however the amenities of the home for the high value area were not up to par. The cabinet oven stopped working mid stay. Thankfully there was a second oven The outdoor shower by the jacuzzi was broken. The rooms were basic and there was sand in beds upon arrival. We had to wash them before putting the kids to bed. Positives- The view from the master was spectacular and you could hear the ocean waves and watch the dolphins. Location- right on the water! quiet area - GREAT beach- and a bike ride to the Harbor. Kids loved the jacuzzi. Accommodated our family of 8 well.

Not great

While the beach and location is great, the inside of the home was covered in sand and had ants all over the place, even inside the silverware drawer. We were also locked out of using the A/C, leaving us no choice but to leave all of the windows open in the summer and have the ocean mist get everything all damp. The jacuzzi in the master bedroom didn't work. Instead of actual soap and shampoo we were left with tiny pouches of (think coffee creamer packet size) powder versions that don't work and only last a day. Text communications with the owner were actually with a bot. Wouldn't recommend.

Gorgeous Home

Better than the pictures. The beach front doors fold open and the shades move by remote. The kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful. Couch is comfy and easy to clean. The beach front patio and master are stunning. The spa is located between the garage and main home in a courtyard that also includes a sand play area. This is nice for privacy or for containing children but does not have a beach view. The home has lots of extra sand toys but no boards or beach chairs. Bring your own dishsoap, laundry detergent, extra paper towels, extra toilet paper, body soap and hair wash. The home has lots of towels and the laundry machine and dishwasher worked great. The beach had soft sand but was very rocky in the water. The rocks were fun to explore but made it painful to boogie board unless you are able to paddle out past them. Overall, a great home right in the sand!

Beautiful beach front property

Location is great, beautiful sunsets, saw dolphins, beach was quiet and sparsely populated. Kitchen was nicely laid out. Bring your own sharp knife if you like to cook and don’t want to use the fine but dull knives. Lovely beach breezes and patio.

Beautiful place but NO AC

We truly loved the location and the home. Directly on the beach access was so nice ! BUT super disappointed the home was listed with central ac so we booked in the heat of the summer, to show up to a hot house(my babies rooms were super hot at night too…)! And no working AC. After much confusion and apologies they still haven’t compensated us . So overall we a disappointed in the service . And don’t recommend going in the hot summer.

Oxnard beach hiuse

House and location were great, but this place has some issues. Dryer didn’t work and wasn’t replaced until two days prior to our departure. Jacuzzi was dirty and as a result my daughter, son in law and grandchild got a bacterial infection that looked like bed bug bites. Vacuum didn’t work, chair in patio was broken, door in front sliders wouldn’t open, no screens on upstair windows in small bedrooms. Just a lot of little stuff that should not be an issue, especially for the price they are charging. Kyle at vacasa was very helpful and tried to make things right, but it was one step forward and two steps back. With some TLC this place would be worth the price, but definitely not our week.

As lovely as the photos

We have stayed in a lot of places and this home was fantastic! The view was stellar. We had some issues with entry that were resolved asap. Vacasa was very responsive including delivering some hand and dish towels. We also alerted Vacasa that one of the main tri-fold doors to the beach wouldn’t open (we preferred not to have them fix things while we were there) and that the shed that houses the ping pong table had lock that wouldn’t open. Only challenge that was not in the control of Vacasa, is that there was some construction down the road and the pounding could be felt in the house. Regardless of the above, we all agree we would return ( a first for us!)

Wonderful House, Amazing View.

We enjoyed our mini-vacation! We knew we were going to spend lots of time at the house so wanted a home right on the beach! You cannot beat this amazing view and location.
