Parrot Nest är en av de gamla Sanibel-stugorna som ligger på öns tysta öst. Sedan 1955 har våra charmiga stugor välkomnat besökare och fram till början av 1960-talet fördes de till våra kustar från fastlandet med färjebåt.
Våra stugor är nyrenoverade i en kustinredning som erbjuder dig episk komfort, avkoppling i ett vackert rum. Vi ligger inom gångavstånd till den historiska Sanibel-fyren och fiskebrygga, vackra beskyddande stränder, shopping och restauranger.
Om du vill kan du använda våra gratis cyklar och utforska mil med stigar som täcker ön och leder till djurliv, kajakpaddling, avskilda stränder och slingrande förbi fler matställen, butiker och gallerier. Macaw-stugan är ett charmigt rum med en king size-säng och ny bäddsoffa (tvåbäddsrum).

Great short getaway

Cute room that had everything we needed. Bikes and beach wagons were a nice addition. Close to lighthouse with good restaurant and ice cream shop across the street. The only negative was that the hot water ran out quickly during showers. Nice to see Sanibel rebounding from the hurricanes.

Everything you need

Great location! Loved access to beach chairs, towels and bikes. Cute rental that has everything you need. Beach is walking distance. Wickies restaurant across the street is amazing!

Great Cottage

We enjoyed our stay at Macaw cottage, free bikes to use and the Lighthouse Beach is just a short bike ride away, we shelled everyday and the cottage was large enough for 3 of us easily , wonderful shopping area in the same block, some of the best on Sanibel Island. We will be staying here again !!

Perfect Location & Charming Cottage

My sons (7 and 14) and I were looking for a place to visit in Sanibel knowing that many of the gulf-side locations were under construction and chose to try the Parrots Nest Cottages. I was pleasantly surprised at this fantastic location that was walkable to the beach and had everything we needed to relax for a few days over Thanksgiving break. The kitchen had what we needed and having bikes and beach wagons and chairs was a great convenience. This was an adorable property and just right for the 3 of us.

Newly remodeled. Clean and fresh, nicely decorated. Very comfortable memory foam mattress. Kitchenette very helpful. Walkable to old lighthouse Beach and to Bay. Very convenient, love that they have complementary bikes to use. My only complaint would be the rather sad bed pillows, because other that that i was totally satisfied.

Ideal location

Our first time to Sanibel and we loved it. Our little cottage was wonderful. Ideal location to ride bikes to the beach and lighthouse. We would absolutely return and stay there. Only 1 thing would make it a little better, since there’s no sink in the kitchen area a small dish pan would make cleaning the dishes a little more sanitary. Great place!!

These units are in a great location. Having complimentary bikes was the best. We didn’t have sheets for the daybed. I called breakaway to ask for them and did not ever get them. I sent the owner a question and they never responded

Perfect Cottage

Everything was great! Except for the no-see-ems that came out in the evenings. Those bitting little bugs are awful! Bring bug spray or buy some at one of the local shops. The people were friendly. The neighborhood was safe. The food was amazing. Our fav for breakfast was Lighthouse Cafe (especially the mimosas and eggs Benedict). For supper we loved Wickies, Tutti Pazzi and Doc Fords. We never tried Mudbugs, but it looked inviting. We just ran out of time. Doc Fords was the longest bike ride we took and it was very easy. Minimal hills and wide asphalt paths. The only shopping we did was at She Sells Seashells, which had cute local made gifts as well as some mass produced gifts and shells. Shelling at the beach was great too. Bring a container to get them home safely! I will be recommending Sanibel and this cottage to family and friends. Loved every minute of this trip!

Perfect for First Sanibel visit

The Macaw efficiency cottage was immaculate and really comfortable for us. The surrounding property was quiet and is close to the Lighthouse Cafe, very popular for breakfast. It was a great place to stay on our first visit to the island.

Sanibel Get away

I wife and I had a great time for the two day stay that we had. Nice location down by the lighthouse with a nice restaurant within walking distance for meals. It was also really nice to have bikes that you did not have to rent but could use free of charge.

Very nice newly renovated unit. Very easy check in process. Good location, lighthouse cafe is less than a block away and beach is a 5 minute walk. Quiet residential part of the island which I prefer. This area of the island is not crowded and the beach is fairly empty. Quiet and relaxing.
