1890: s hem i Franklin historiska centrum

Rose Cottage charmar sina gäster. Detta viktorianska hem byggdes på 1890-talet och ligger i det ursprungliga undersökta femkvarterade området i Historic Downtown Franklin.
När du anländer till Rose Cottage kommer du att gå tillbaka till Franklins historia för att njuta av en liten bit "tidigare tider" med dess arkitektur och inredning.
Trots att stugan har moderniserats påminner den fortfarande om en annan tid med noggrann uppmärksamhet på balansen mellan gammalt och nytt.

Rose Cottage är ungefär en två minuters promenad till torget och till Franklins viktigaste attraktioner, arenor och restauranger. Det finns ingen kamp för att hitta en plats att parkera
med dess läge närmare än mycket av den tillgängliga parkeringen. Det är ganska
bekvämt på kvällen för att kunna gå hem från en kväll tillbringad centrum!

Stugan har också en privat trädgård där man kan dra sig tillbaka från
livliga centrum. Det rymliga täckta uteplatsen är perfekt för att smutta på morgonkaffe. Glidflygplanet och gungstolarna föregick WWII. Njut av perfekt uteservering vid picknickbordet. Om du är intresserad av sport utanför, ett bordtennisbord,
basketmål och krokett finns tillgängliga. Det finns också en bärbar eldstad, men du måste leverera ditt eget ved.

Rose Cottage välkomnar gästerna att njuta av vår småstadsgästfrihet och de många specialevenemang som Franklin är värd, vilket gör det till en härlig plats att besöka.

Susan was the perfect host and we enjoyed the property location. Shopping, restaurants and a beautiful park all within walking distance of the property. The property was very spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was spacious and well stocked. We would stay here on our next visit to Franklin.

Quaint Historic Cottage Steps to downtown

This is a lovely historic cottage that reminds us our our grandparents homes when growing up. Two large bedrooms, vaulted ceilings and extra sitting areas made it a nice place to regroup and plan the next adventure. Being so close to downtown it was easy to walk and see it all. Great parking tucked in behind as well. Susan was a delight to work with on the reservation and was a very nice host.

Lovely cottage In downtown franklin

We stayed 10 days in Rose Cottage while our home in Franklin is having work done. We are coming back soon for another week. The home is charming and fully equipped. I’m glad we found this place!

Gorgeous Historic Home

My husband and I brought our two dogs and were very welcomed by the host. The house was spacious, had everything we needed and so cutely decorated. The bed was comfy and larger than our king bed! Will definitely comeback.

Great location; one block over from Downtown. Very clean, comfortable beds, roomy. Very pleasant owner. Stayed there twice. May have left pop in the fridge - sorry!All around excellent!!!

Lovely and Comfortable!

We loved our stay at this beautiful historic home. Great location, walking distance to several good places to eat, and an easy drive to Arrington Winery. The house was clean, comfortable, and decorated with respect for the house’s history. Both beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had room to cook the one meal we made there. Communication with Susan was easy and timely. We hope to be back!

Pilgrimage Festival property

This property was so perfect! Our daughter was getting married at CJ‘s off the Square and we could not have been any closer! The check-in process and the checkout process was so easy and communication with our host was fantastic. So kind and accommodating and helpful! Franklin is a great town and staying at this house. Makes it convenient to walk everywhere.

We had a lovely stay. The Rose cottage has all the charm ! We loved being able to walk to historic downtown Franklin. The home was very clean and comfortable. It feels like you are stepping back in time in the very best way.

Great Location, Lovely Host

We had a great stay in Franklin. We were able to walk everywhere and enjoy the town. Susan was a wonderful host, greeting us upon our arrival. We had all that we needed. We’d love to stay there again - next time, for a grown-up getaway!

I have lived in Franklin for almost 35 years and all three of our daughters have grown up here. I personally manage Rose Cottage and The Franklin Guest House.
My desire is to make your visit to Franklin as lovely and comfortable as possible. If there is anything I can help you with, it is my pleasure.

Varför värden valde detta boende

My mother bought Rose Cottage when she was older so that she could be close to family. There is a guest house at the end of the driveway.
The Franklin Guest House (VRBO 584286) was our original short term rental.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

There are other lovely short term rental listings in Franklin, but Rose Cottage is one of the very few properties that is in the original five block square area of Historic Franklin as it was surveyed by Abram Maury (uncle of Matthew Fontaine Maury). The accessibility to the downtown area is incredible. By being at the center part of Franklin, you have a wider range to many of Franklin's amenities that circle the town. Plus, the other benefit of Rose Cottage is that while it is downtown, yet it is private and you are able to retreat back to your own space.
