This review is from a 75 year old and may not apply to younger groups. The rental is clean, well equipped, comfortable and has a million dollar view. It is also located in “party central.” i was aware of this but I also knew that by mid Sept the vibe would calm down. The problem was the renters next door smoked pot from around 9:00pm until after midnight the first 2 nights. The owner nor VRBO could do nothing about it. With the wind blowing off the ocean we got much of their smoke. The result was instead of enjoying the deck and sleeping to the sound of the ocean we went inside and slept with the sliding doors closed. We could have done that for half the price anywhere in America.

Nice place , great location on beach and the ocean view awesome. Best part was the spacious balcony to relax and enjoy the sound of the ocean. Would definitely recommend.

The location was fantastic! Literally on the beach and a 5 minute walk to the pier. The unit was clean and comfortable. The owner was easily reached and responsive. The parking spot is tight and would be tricky for a large SUV or truck. The unit boasts a huge balcony with plenty of seating. The down side… the music. I love live music but it was incredibly loud, starting at 1:00 every day lasting until at least 11pm during the week, 1am on the weekend. Essentially a live concert right outside the back door…. all day long. Forget it if you want a nap before dinner, have a quiet night in, or sit on the balcony listening to the waves or reading a book. I feel the listing should have been transparent about the music situation. If the music wouldn’t be an issue for others, I highly recommend it!

Our stay here was wonderful. Check-in process was simple and easy. The space was clean and exactly as described, beds were very comfortable, and everything expected was provided. If you don’t like music, this may not be the space for you (in the summer season anyway), because it is live, sometimes loud, and goes late into the evening. We knew this going in and we LOVED it! Best seat in the house from the balcony, avoid the crowds downstairs and just enjoy! We let the kids stay up anyway, but their bedroom is in the back, furthest from the balcony, so with the door shut it was quiet enough. Location is fantastic, short walk to many restaurants, pier, playland and of course the beach is just steps away. We had a great time staying here and would love to return sometime!

Amazing place to stay—just book it !!!!!!!

Great location. A lot to do within walking distance. Right on the beach! Bar & restaurant below. amazing views. we stayed on a Thursday so not sure about the weekend and the noise from the bands but absolute perfection. Would stay there again in a heartbeat! The place was so well done and decorated. Thx for sharing ur lovely abode!!!

Great Condo

Excellent stay at this condo. All was very clean and well equipped with anything we needed. Great view right on the beach. Host was easy to reach out to and instructions were spot on. Will definitely return to this location and this condo.

beach in Winter

We beat a HUGE Northern US storm and the owner was kind enough to cancel one night for us. He was easy to contact and responsive. The condo was as described and clean, we saw beautiful sun and moon rises and enjoyed several short trips to Portland. The only problem was getting adjusted to the TV (would have liked instruction) Instructions for leaving would also have been helpful. Enjoyable trip for all.

OOB is a gem!

This was our time staying in Old Orchard Beach and it won’t be my last. Despite it being winter, waking up to the beach views was the best. Our host had everything prepared for our stay and the condo was spacious and had everything we needed. Thanks for making it so enjoyable!

The view is incredible

We enjoyed our stay in Old Orchard Beach. It was the off season so a lot of things were closed however that meant no crowds. The location of the condo was convenient to visit Portland or Kennebunkport. Being able to watch the sunrise and sit in the sun on the deck was amazing.

Not Just a Summer Place

Spent a QUIET November weekend at this great condo. Wonderful views of the ocean from the back deck made the wine taste better. Peaceful walks on the beach were a daily highlight. Yes most restaurants were closed for the season, but there are still great choices near by. If picturesque sun rises are your thing, then this place is perfect for you. Fantastic communication from booking to checkout. perfect.

BEAUTIFUL LARGE DECK WITH OCEAN VIEW

Nice big deck with views from living room and bedroom. Nice and clean , but is in need of bathroom and kitchen remodel, and fresh paint. Bath flooring by the tub in bad shape, toilet to short, and bath could use a grab bar. Kitchen cabinets are ok, stove needs to be replaced, and wallpaper coming loose. new flooring and paint would be great. Greg was great to work with, and available when needed!

Nice condo however parking was difficult

While we loved listening to the waves from the condo the parking situation was less than ideal. After reviewing the info the owner sent just prior to check-in I started stressing as we were traveling in a Ford F150 truck. The assigned space is the last spot next to a building. While we got into the space (due to it being the off-season so the lot wasn’t full) we were worried we wouldn’t be able to get out when it was time to leave if the lot filled up. I would only recommend staying here if you have a small vehicle or want to park 10 blocks away as mentioned in the check-in info from the owner.

A great first night in Maine

We really enjoyed staying the night here. Ate at the restaurant downstairs while listening to some great music from the band playing. Then took a little stroll down the beach and around the little shops. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to the waves this morning. Very peaceful and quiet
