Summer in New Braunfels 2025

It was a really cute condo and loved that my kids had a bed for themselves and didn’t have to share everything was close by didn’t have to drive far just wish it didn’t flood hope everyone out there is safe.

Check in at 4?

Can't check in till 4pm? The check out time is 11am and the check in time is 4 pm? This means it takes 5 hours to clean the condo!?! This was very disappointing since our family is traveling 4 hours to get to the river, we come for the weekend and end up getting to town around 12 to 1pm. We were hoping to have Friday and Saturday to spend on the river, but since we can't check in till 4pm, there is no place to leave our items, or a parking pass to park our cars, therefor we could only spend Saturday on the river. We have been staying here several times over the last 10 years and I want to say that 4pm check in is something new. In the past I think it has been around 2 which allows us time to unload our cars, put our parking passes on display, change clothes, get a pass to the river and float at least once on Friday. Then a full day Saturday on the river. Then of course, checking out by 11 on Sunday. Not sure this will be a good fit for our family next year if the check in time stays at 4pm.

Comal River Summer

This was a fantastic location for our final summer trip. It was right on the Comal River with easy access. The kids loved the pool onsite and spent more time there than in the river. The condo was very clean and comfortable. We loved sitting on the patio in the morning for coffee! I would stay here agin.

Filthy rooms, not cleaned at all.

Pros. The property is as described. Good location. The communication with the office staff was easy. Cons. Extremely noisy but that probably due to the long weekend. Very poorly cleaned. The sheets were not washed and the furniture had a layer of dust. The vessels were dirty. We spent a good chunk of time cleaning the property ourselves before settling in. I wish they did not charge for cleaning. Will not recommend.

Perfect for R&R

River Run is awesome!!! We felt safe & secure at the property. Great fun & family environment. Working with all River Run staff was pleasant and easy. The property was everything we expected. The unit was perfect. I loved that this unit 120D could sleep so many people comfortably. The kitchen armoire pulls down into a table. That was so helpful to have extra prep space. THE PATIO WAS THE BEST!!! So spacious, lots of seating and hooks for hanging towels. Could not have been better.
