The house was lovely and very clean. Filled with games and books if you wanted quiet time on the porch! We loved how close we were to the town, we walked everywhere except Acadia. A lovely visit. Paul recommended wonderful restaurants and activities and was quite helpful. He made the whole process very easy.

Great old house. Had everything we needed and Paul was a great and proactive host. Exceeded expectations all around. Location was perfect.... right in the mix of everything Bar Harbor, but set off on a quieter street. Short drive (or longer walk) to Acadia... but so is really everything in Bar Harbor. If we go back to the area, we'll 100% try to rent this home again.

We loved our stay! The house was perfectly clean, the kitchen had everything that we needed (we cooked a few dinners in), and really great communication with the host, from making the reservation onward. Nice to be on a quiet street but so close to the waterfront, shops, and restaurants AND with parking!

I was extremely impressed staying at this lovely property. From the moment I requested a booking, the host was highly communicative. Gave dining suggestions, activity suggestions and was just delightful. All rules to make your stay pleasant and not damage the lovely home were clear, which I appreciate! The place itself was lovely. It was so clean I felt I could relax. The beds were very comfortable, I think memory foam? It was obvious Paul and his lovely wife but a ton of care into keeping this house. I got to have coffee on the covered porch every morning! Even better is the location. One street over from downtown, and we had a dedicated parking space in the house. This allowed us not worry about the parking issues or paying for parking AND wander around town to eat. There’s a grocery store nearby, we made some meals. When I come dragging other friends and family to hike in Acadia with me, This is the place I am staying. HIGHLY recommend this property and the host!!

Moose Manor was just lovely. It was clean, comfortable, and big enough for two adults and two teenage boys. We used the full size kitchen to cook breakfast nearly every day. Host was great with clear and prompt communication. Everything with this rental went smoothly and everything was in good working order. The location was amazing - quick walk to all the shops, restaurants, and even the low tide hike out to Bar Harbor Island. It’s about a 10 min drive to Acadia NP (focus of our visit). We loved the town of Bar Harbor, every single restaurant was good. Fave restaurant was Stewmans and fave shop is the Mad Little Shop. We spent our days in Acadia and our nights eating in Bar Harbor. Great rental and a great vacation!

Paul was an excellent host. He contacted us weeks before our trip with suggestions on what to do in Bar Harbor and touched base with us once we got there to make sure we had everything we needed. The house itself is in a great location. We walked everywhere. We only had to use our car to go into the park. The house had everything we needed, even the tools and instructions to boil a lobster! We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful Stay

Bar Harbor is a special place and Moose Manor was very comfortable and well located. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend. Our host was extreme helpful throughout the stay with recommendations for anything we needed.

Perfectly located near town, within walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor. Off street parking means you never have to worry about a spot. Very comfortable home, with everything you need to relax, whether you want to dine in town or cook in.

Moose Manor was the perfect home base for our family to explore Acadia National Park. The home was immaculate, comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved being able to walk into town and to the waterfront with ease without worrying about parking. We are already dreaming about our return trip!

Family hiking vacation

Was extremely clean, and very convenient to the downtown shopping, restaurants and mostly the beautiful harbor area. The host was amazing with information on what to do, best places to eat and see .

Great Stay

We really enjoyed our week at Moose Manor. We found the house to be very clean, comfortable, and cozy. We also loved the tree lined street of its location, and the close proximity of the shops and restaurants of Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay at this house again.
