Ett kvarter till stranden och bara några steg från Dillion Beach General Store. Enkel nivå hem med 3 sovrum, 1 badrum, familjerum, stort öppet grand rum med golv till tak fönster, massor av terrasser och en uteplats. Bra ställe att komma undan för skojs skull, vila, familj eller vänner. En fantastisk surfstrand, göra sandslott, utforska steninlopp, fisk eller leka i sanddynerna. Nattvandringar och stjärna stirrar kunde inte vara bättre. 6 personer max.

Great place; excellent location!

We loved being right in the heart of Dillon Beach at this place. It was clean and well-appointed but keep in mind that it's more on the "rustic" side, but with character.

Awesome views of the beach and ocean. Quick walk to the beach. Great food at the country market. House is clean and very accommodating.

Basic Necessities

I have been going to Dillon beach for over 40 yrs We decided to return as family and rented 2 homes & my sons finance owns 1 home we occupied 3. Decor is never an issue for me so that it was dated no big deal What is a big deal is basics, 6 towels for an entire weekend?? 2 kitchen towels when no dishwasher, no closet in primary room, no tables to sit coffee drinks on either outside or in, bathroom door that sticks we had to help 2 people out of bathroom and more issues

Wonderful stay at Pickel's Port!

This is such a unique and fun house. The kids loved exploring all the rooms and finding the SEVERAL light switches throughout the house. Just a block from the beach and an even closer walk to the Dillon Beach General Store. The ocean views from the home couldn't be any better. Highly recommend!

Time for a birthday!

There were just 4 of us. The others that were invited had other things to do. So our son, whose birthday will be on Thursday, did some walking around with his uncle and his dog. All of them really enjoyed being out in the sunny sand!! Sunday and Monday were pretty warm. However there was some wind, but it wasn't a lot. All in all, we did enjoy ourselves!

Great location, lacking property

Overall great location and view. Cons: - might consider a exterior remodel. Very run down looking, balcony was too small to be inhabitable. - might consider a bathroom remodel. Shower did not feel or look clean. - house only has 2 bowls to eat from. - missing a pizza cutter

Nice spot close to beach and resort store. Great views, nice common areas and bedrooms. Bathroom is a little tight. Very good overall.

Pickel Property convenient but needing TLC

We have stayed at the Pickel Property 4-times and appreciate the quick access to the beach and the store. The property is aging and in need of new, or updated sliding glass doors, rotting deck boards replaced, and window screens would prevent the flies and bees from coming in. The water pressure is also quite low-tricky to wash off sand and can’t have two faucets running at the same time. Linda, the manager, is helpful and quick to reply.

Excellent beach vacation

We return to Pickel’s Port every year at the end of summer and always love it. Great location, excellent property for families, perfect for a relaxing week at the beach.

Great stay!

This has to be the ideal place to stay in DB! We loved this beautiful home’s location and view. Super close to the beach! Had almost every amenity (no dishwasher but we survived😂)! No difficult stairs for our elderly dog. We’d definitely like to rent it again!

Terrible Management Experience - Security Deposit Ethics

The rating is entirely due to the poor experience I had with the management. The home was very convenient and comfortable, and we enjoyed the stay. My only recommendation would be to add a shower caddy and I also think some mowing and back yard maintenance would be nice. It was tough to see there was even a back gate. I received approval in writing prior to my stay to bring my 2 dogs despite the policy only allowing for 1. I paid the pet deposit. I was charged $250 after my visit and was told it was due to dog hair in the bed. I do know that dogs on furniture or in beds was not allowed. I brought dog crates for the dogs to sleep in because that is how they sleep at home. After explaining this to John (Linda?) I acknowledged they were shedding so there was dog hair in the home but we were not in violation. I would have vacuumed if I had access to a vacuum. He just responded by quoting the contract, including how I violated it because I brought 2 dogs which wasn’t allowed. I responded by referencing the pre-approval email I had, and he just ignored it. He said there was also blood in the bed. I’m not sure which bed because he never responded but I’m guessing it was my daughter’s because she had oral surgery a week prior, it could have been on the pillowcase. I would understand being charged for that if it could not be laundered. I was charged $250 and wasn’t given clear details, photos, receipts -nothing except quoted excerpts from the rental agreement. Awful

Even Better in Person!

We rented this property for my cousin's destination wedding. It's in a charming part of Dillon Beach with amazing views, an incredibly convenient and short walk from the beach and was so close to all the wedding events we had to go to in the Marin County area. The beds were also so soft. Linda was very helpful when we needed to check in early and overall very quick on getting back to me for all my inquiries. Honestly, once I showed the photos of our place to my family, we were the envy of the party for our lodging choices. My only complaint is that the toilet paper is positioned in an awkward spot in the only bathroom. But, that's it! This place was fantastic!! The nautical theme was a bonus charm. Many thanks for everything!

Nice views but maintenance deferred

The views were excellent and it’s a short walk to the beach. There has been deferred maintenance: toilet runs constantly, the second bedroom light makes a crackling sound indicating a short/fire hazard, sliding door handle is broken and doors are hard to move. Everything seemed in need of tlc.

Was Perfect

We booked this very last minute girls trip and were just hoping for something decent and it ended up being perfect. It was a great location with a great view and fit 6 grown women perfectly. We had a beautiful time. We will recommend to others.

Great house, lacking some basic items

This is a great house in a great location, short walk to the beach and campground. The house is quirky, clearly an addition was made at some point that is quite different from the rest. But the views of the ocean are phenomenal. Beds are comfy. The house could really use some updated furniture and some additions to make it more comfortable, such as nightstands in the large bedroom and a coffee table or ottoman. The seating area in the living room is not comfortable, the small couch is terrible. So don’t plan on hanging out there for long. Bit of a bummer to only have one bathroom for six people. Bring your own puzzles and games, very little selection on hand. Kitchen is small and not very organized but seems well stocked and appliances are newer and nice. Be prepared to wash and dry dishes. Property manager was responsive when we needed an item. Overall, great house, great location; some additional thought and basic comfort items into it would make it even better!
