Vacker stuga och pensionat vid Walloon Lake. Fastigheten har spektakulÀra grunder med en platt sandstrand och en stor brygga som rymmer flera bÄtar. Den rymliga tÀckta verandan Àr perfekt för att titta pÄ solnedgÄngen och njuta av sjöns skönhet. Det finns tre sovrum i huvudhuset, tvÄ rum med king size-sÀngar och ett med tvÄ fulla sÀngar. Det finns ett helt nytt vackert badrum pÄ övervÄningen och ett badrum i bottenvÄningen. Pensionatet har en egen master svit med en queen size-sÀng, vardagsrum och stort badrum. Det finns ocksÄ ett stort loft med tvÄ enkelsÀngar för barnen.

We had a wonderful week stay at this adorable cottage. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for the 11 adults. Happy there were no bunk beds which make it difficult for tall 20 year olds. The beds were super comfortable. Nice size kitchen. Location on Walloon lake was awesome with easy access to the village. And the sunsets were the highlight of our stay. We rented a pontoon for the week and tied it up to the dock. Sad to hear the house is being sold and will probably not be for rent again next summer as we were ready to rebook.

Heavenly week at Walloon

We had a beautiful week in the lake. The yard and back porch were a hit with the kids and the family! The house had two kayaks we used and a great open kitchen and living space. The kitchen was well-stocked and the owners were great with communication. What a wonderful vacation home for a small group!

Lake Life Perfection

There were 9 of us total - kids from 2 to 13 - coming from NY (direct flights in Traverse City!) and driving from Chicago. The location of Saint Cottage is perfect both a quick boat trip to Walloon village and a very short drive to the village and more importantly to the Sweet Tooth, the ice cream store. The cottage was very clean and we had all the amenities we needed. The landscaping is beautiful and the lawn rolls right onto a small sandy beach and clear shallow water which was perfect for our 2 year old grandson. The older boys loved fishing off the dock. The adults enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the most spectacular sunsets. Walloon Lake, because it is large, is never that busy on the water. We rented a pontoon boat from Tommy's Rentals and enjoyed tubing and boat rides. I would highly recommend getting one. We certainly look forward to returning to Saint Cottage.

Wonderful

We had three generations of family up for the week. The house was very clean and spacious. We had plenty of beds and loved that the guest house gave us some extra space. The kitchen was incredibly stocked. I have never stayed in a place that had everything we needed for cooking, serving and eating. The grounds are so pretty and the beach was fantastic. The grandkids loved playing in the sand and water. It truly was a great vacation spot.

Great Family Vacation

Really nice property in a great location on Walloon. The house and guest house are both in great shape and stocked with everything needed for a big group. The 12 of us fit very comfortably with beds to spare. Yard is great with tons of space to play - rare for Walloon - and shallow water all the way out to the end of the dock which was great for kids swimming. We will definitely be back if we need to host a group again.

Perfect spot for memories to be made

Our family enjoyed a fun filled 7 days at Walloon Lake at this well appointed cottage in the perfect setting. The hosts are wonderful and responsive and we could not have imagined a better layout for our extended family to be able to take in the beauty and surroundings of this special place.

Winter Wonderland

Perfectly appointed for a large group! We were Snowed in for 3 days so we were happy to have lots space for quiet time and family gathering. Grateful to have the caretaker come snow-blow the 4ft drifts! Enjoyed a beautiful fire each day! Large kitchen for many hands to participate in preparing amazing dinners. Extremely comfortable beds and Great hot showers. We live close by but felt we had gone somewhere extremely special! That is Walloon Lake..

Family Summer Lake Retreat

Best house on Walloon Lake!

We’ve had the pleasure of staying at this property for three years now. It just gets better and better! The views are spectacular, especially the sunset. Location between Boyne City and Petosky is super convenient. The quality of the house and its amenities are absolutely top notch! We highly recommend for a wonderful stay on Walloon Lake!

We are a big family , with 6 children, three daughter-in-laws and three grandchildren. Our family has been on Walloon lake for over 100 years. Buying a home on the lake has been a lifelong dream and when we saw this cottage we knew it was perfect for our family and we are happy to share it with you. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
