Great week in a great location

The condo was very clean and ready for us when we arrived at 4pm. No early entry available. One elevator was down, so that caused a lot of extra work on entry day. The only complaint we had was the lack of key fobs to the pool and to come and go from the beach. With 5 adults and 2 kids, we all have different wants and needs at different times. With limited key fobs (2), it made it difficult to come and go as we pleased. It was constant planning and arranging who was going where and when. Other than that, it’s a great condo! Plenty of pillows and hangers. Walkable to everything in Folly and we never had to move our car!

Girls Weekend

Condo was clean, beds comfortable. Love the 3 bathrooms for 8 girls. Communication with property manager was always quick and super friendly. Location was perfect, right next to pier, and downtown.

We had a good week

Beach views from the patio were awesome. Condo is very comfortable but a little dated in terms of furniture. Beach access is easy, but you did have to walk to either end - would love to see an access path at the middle too! Location was super close to shops, restaurants and town. Elevator is the pits so we used the stairs when possible. Overall we had a really nice week.

Wonderful views

Wonderful views and close to everything! Super clean! Minimal wash cloths and bath/kitchen towels (constantly doing laundry) and no beach stuff or beach towels.

Views for Miles

We enjoyed the deck overlooking the Pier and beach from sunrise to sundown. The unit has all you need for cooking and has comfortable, nice furniture/beds. We brought beach towels because we read none provided. The condo building itself was complicated with fobs and passes, elevators, but parking was central to everything. Nice pools at both ends and beach entrance. Great girls weekend!

Amenities were great

I get frustrated when you have to purchase basic things to stay on vacation. I was happy to see that there were a few extra rolls of TP, and several decent pots and pans. I loved the knives in the drawer. I actually ordered a set on our way home! It would have been nice to have a few more washcloths. There were only two in each bathroom. If you book a place for a whole week, it is reasonable to think that more than one washcloth per person would be needed and not something a person would think they would need to bring with them. Overall the stay was great.

Nice condo in a well-run facility

Comfy furniture. Ample enough in all respects to accomodate 8 guests. good porch furniture. Charleston Villas is secure, requires passcode to enter the parking facility. There are plenty of shopping carts at the elevators making it easy to lug your stuff tothe condo. The dishwasher in the thisi unit had become detached from the countertop. It worked, but this needs to be repaired.

Luxury price for average property

Location of this property was great! Beachside and within walking distance of local shops and resturants! We very much enjoyed and took advantage of that! Condo itself was ok! Many things were worn or broke as was the condo property- ok but pools needed some much needed maintenence. Speaking with the property managers were very difficult and seemeed very scripted. Not very many questions got answered pre trip. They gave us early check in but never sent the email to the correct person to get into the condo as was requested earlier in the day after it was assured to us that all people would get information. Overall it was a nice vacation and we were with family but would book elsewhere next time.

Multiple Issues

The two major issues were both water related. First, there was minimal hot water and the hot water did not last long enough for more than one shower. Furthermore, the large tub was useless as the hot water ran out after roughly 3 inches of water filled the tub. The second issue was that the water pressure would fluctuate between a reasonable flow and a trickle. The third issue was less significant but still annoying, there was no High Def television signal and I would rather watch a basketball game in HD on my cell phone than standard definition on a larger TV.

We have stayed in Charleston Oceanfront Villas several times, but first in this unit. Not the cleanest (mold in master shower, some dishes dirty). Did not have fobs. Started trying to get Saturday night (first day there). Was told they would be dropped off at condo for us. I was finally able get an address on Folly to go pick them up on Monday. This was after several calls and texts. I was initially given an out dated address and went there. They (no relation to Vacasa) was kind enough to tell us where to find Vacasa. Incredibly frustrating to be told they would be delivered Sunday. Never heard from anyone. I had to continue to pursue. Paid too much for me to have to do this.

Good choice!

Our family group of six, ranging from age 10 to 70, had a lovely time on our vacation in this condo. The condo size fit our needs beautifully, and it was impeccably clean. The sofas were very comfortable. Some of the furniture was well used and a little outdated, but that was not a problem for us at all. proximity to the ocean right outside the doors and the view from the balcony were perfect. It was a good choice for our group.

Charleston Oceanfront Villas 311

This was a great condo for our “ senior” ladies week at Folly Beach. The balcony and master bedroom overlooked the ocean. The kitchen was well-stocked and the whole place was very clean. The beach access was very close to the pier and has a wooden walkway to the beach. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would suggest would be to provide beach chairs and possibly a beach wagon.

Great location

Perfect Getaway!

We recently spent 3 days in Charleston for a long weekend. This was way more than what 2 of us needed but would be great for 6-8 people. We usually stay on Isle of Palms but couldn’t find a place there. We looked at hotels and for the money, we got this, on the beach, ocean view, awesome patio and private pool. Easy access to downtown Charleston and shopping. Very easy to check in and out too. The only thing that kept this from being 5 stars was it is dated BUT it’s clean and well kept. End of the day it’s a rental condo. We will definitely be back. If you are looking, don’t hesitate to jump on this one!!

Beautiful view, great space for extended family

We rented for my elderly parents to have the best view of the ocean. It was perfect. Managed extremely well, great communication before arrival, gated parking under building, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Responded when we had trouble with the coffee maker. Very pleased with everything!

Relaxing

The property meet all our expectations. The rooms were very spacious and the view was more than we could have asked for. With small children it was nice to have an elevator and a pool. One of the many things my daughter remarked on was that there was plenty of seating on the balcony, no one went without a chair. The staff was extremely nice both at check in and check out. This was our first time staying on Folly Beach and we could not have asked for a more perfect stay, we will definitely be coming back.
