Family Vacation

We received the wrong code to open the door and was stuck outside for an hour in 100 degree heat, the fridge wasn't cooling properly and after not hearing back from the property manager my husband fixed it. The condo was not very clean upon checking in with cob webs over several lamps. The location is amazing and we liked the pools a lot. The condo could be much nicer for the rate they charge but it was adequate. Will definitely visit Folly again!

Property was great!

Location and large balcony overlooking the beach. We were given the incorrect code to check in which made us stand in the rain with our whole loaded cart while we waited for resolution. Check in with VACASA not so good but property was great.

Great spot for a beach vacation.

Place was clean, well-maintained, and offered all the necessities for a beach stay. Perfect location close to all the restaurants and shops, as well as the pier.

Great beachfront location!

The location was perfect! We could walk to the pier and the downtown folly beach area. We could see the fireworks on folly beach from our balcon. It was also easy to get to Charleston and Mount Pleasant from this location.

Wonderful Place to Stay

Great place to stay! This condo is perfect for the beach getaway with it being right outside from the development. Had an electrical issue with a light switch that was concerning. Within 2 hours an electrician was sent and problem solved. Vacasa is a great group to work with and communicates regularly. We will be back soon! We love the island of Folly Beach!

Charleston Vacation

Three generations of my family stayed at a Vacasa location for the 2nd time. First one was in Tennessee. LOVE booking through them and will most likely use them again. Clean, great locations, close to all the sights each time. Units are well - kept and well maintained. Thank you home owners for allowing us to share your property.

Location, roomy; needs improvements

Location is wonderful! Condo complex is great; pool and beach access. Minutes walk to Center St for great food. Condo was roomy, comfortable and perfect for our family of 6. Kitchen needs improvements and/or upgrades. Disappointed in the cleanliness. Didn’t expect to have to clean floors and furniture upon arrival.

Wonderful getaway

Great location, ocean is out the patio. The place was clean and decorated nicely. All the necessities were there, plus some. Easy walk to restaurants and stores. Short drive into Charleston for sightseeing. Not owners issue but they were "making beach" so 24x7 bulldozer work. Noise not bad while sleeping. Next time bigger beach.

Wedding Week

We spent the week on Folly Beach for our daughter's wedding. Great location with easy Uber access to downtown. Enjoyed ocean view coffee every morning! Many of our friends whoe were in town for the wedding also stayed here.

Family Spring Break

Nice layout with plenty of room for our family. Clean and supplied with basics to get us started. Property does need some updating and general maintenance but was certainly adequate for our needs. Great beach. Nice parking garage. Elevator. Good restaurants within close walking distance.

Great location for beach lovers!

We stayed in July of 24 with our extended family and had a great time. Folly is a little beach bum town in the best way. There were no crowds at restaurants and no party scenes like other beach towns we’ve been to. The condo itself was exactly what we needed for our group. The pool is very underwhelming, which is what made me realize this is a beach lover’s town. It wasn’t an issue, but an adjustment for our kids who prefer the pool. The freezer does not have an ice maker (only 2 ice trays) which was not ideal for taking coolers to the beach, which was our groups biggest issue. Overall, great unit and wonderful town with just what you need!

Very clean. 2 bathroom with very nice showers and updates. 3 rd bathroom needs updates. Patio slide doors are hard to close. Beautiful ocean view but no beach access we could find.

Great Location - 5-Star Potential without management company!!

Overall, it was a great stay! Worst part is working with a management team, instead of the owner! The E-lock code given to us to get into the condo didn’t work! The customer service number was like in Oregon for our place in Folly Beach, SC. They changed the code electronically over the phone twice and it still didn’t work. I was cut off twice and had to call back. We waited outside for over an hour with all our luggage on the front porch. Finally, I called again and got someone who could give me a code to the master lockbox to get an actual physical key to the unit. We still didn’t have a way for everyone to get in without using one key for six people until late afternoon the next day, which is not acceptable. When someone local finally did come, he was not told of all the issues. He was only told about the kitchen clock not working. Luckily, we were there at the time he arrived and told him about the e-lock not working, which was the most important thing. He told us there were issues with the locks and the company knew it. So the local maintenance man is the one who gave us HIS code to get into the unit for the rest of the vacation.The condo could use some TLC. It seems they are doing some renovations. The mattresses need to be changed out. There is some mold in the master suite. There just needs to be a lot more attention to detail. We also had to walk through a puddle of water 3 of 5 days to get in the front door because water had drained there….ran out of space

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The dishwashersmelled awful. Needs repair. I had some bites that had to b treated by a doctor in Atlanta. Need to look at master bedroom mattress.

Folly Beach Vacation

This was a great property. We really enjoyed our stay. The only issue was with the maintenance. The slider door handle broke on the first day. I reported it and the person who was coming to fix the vent in the master bath fixed the door handle. The vent was the wrong size. A couple of days later the handle totally broke off. I reported it and they said they would put in for it to be fixed. We never saw another maintenance person for the remainder of the stay. So we had no door handle which made it difficult to open the door to get on the balcony and also there was a big hole in the bathroom ceiling our entire stay. Other than that we loved it.

Great Place

Oceanfront Villas is our go to place for summer vacations! This unit was very clean. Lovely view. We enjoyed being on the first floor this year. Will definitely be staying here again.

Great place to stay, bring your own coffeepot

We loved everything about this rental except the coffee maker. The coffee maker in this unit leaked terribly causing coffee to go all over the counter. We ended up purchasing a cheap coffee maker to use during our stay. The unit was clean and right on the beach and we could walk to great places to eat in Folly. It was was 22 minutes to downtown Charleston for sightseeing. I would stay here again but I’m bringing my coffee maker!
