It was a really adorable place. I

I was a little disappointed that there wasn't any beach chairs, towels or anything beach related for use, as we flew in.Also, there was no Wi-Fi, which may matter ti other guests but for a short stay we survived.

If you’re looking for good enough

Pool is very close! Beach is a very easy walk. Short drive to restaurants. Sits in a quiet area and beside the occasional golf ball condo strike, it’s really nice.

UNFORTUNATE

This condo is sub par to the overall quality of the majority of condos in the highly sought after Palmetto Dunes Resort Plantation. The owner is either unaware of the condition of the condo or doesnt care. There is a terrible mold and musty odor , which is probably due to the terrible condition of the carpets. The furniture is very dated and worn. The outdoor grill need to be replaced , the blinds over the slider doors don't cover the windows. I couldn't recommend this condo.

Good price good location

Spacious condo that is a short walk from the beach. AC wasn't working upstairs when we checked in but by the time we came back from the beach they had already had it fixed. Unfortunately we had to leave early but we still enjoyed our stay.

Needs some care

We love Hickory Cove and have been coming for many years so we have explored many different homes on 5 Haul Away. While 18 is certainly acceptable I would suggest some care and updates. Kitchen fine but baths could use paint and care. Golf balls hitting the home or grounds are daily experience. Some comical landings for sure. You can’t beat the location and the reason for many returns. Would also like more instruction for closing up.

Renter Beware

This is the second time I’ve rented from Vacasa in Palmetto Dunes. The first was good. This rental was not good. The place smelled very musty and that didn’t go away. At bedtime we realized the top sheets/covers were stained and dirty. The next morning I found there was no TP in the common area bathroom and even worse there were dried urine drops on the toilet lid. I called the company and was told cleaning would take place asap, but no one had come by 2PM. I called again and Larry told me housekeeping would come while we were out to dinner. They NEVER came. While talking to Larry I realized the back sliding door wouldn’t lock and we couldn’t figure out the tv - there were FIVE remotes!

Perfect Vacation Spot

This property was perfect for two couples who enjoy the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evenings and watching the sunset. It was equipped for everything we needed. The location is in the center of all activities.

18 Haul Away

Great location but the property is old and needs to be updated. New stove and microwave, but mostly everything else was old and decor was outdated. Good supplies, but missing knives, no strainer, storage containers, no pantry for food storage (all of the cabinets were full with dishes). Walk to the beach is about 10 mins and very easy. Unfortunately the beach storage closet had a ton of boogie boards, but no beach buggy so bring your own. The outdoor spaces are not really amenable to sitting outside. There is an extra full bathroom that was unexpected on the first floor that was a nice, unexpected bonus. Unlikely I would choose to stay here again.

Nice stay

The condo has a very good location. Easy walk to the beach. The place was very clean and well equipped for a rental. Ideal for a four person golf trip or a family of four. 3 full baths is a hug plus. The decor is dated but everything is in good shape. The beds were not the most comfortable and parking might be tough for more than one car. I will stay here on our next HHI trip without a doubt.

Hilton Head 1st Timer

Great family get away! Property location was perfect for riding bikes to beach and the General Store ( best fried chicken!). A bit dated but clean and ample space. The back outdoor area could be cleaned up a bit to make it more user friendly but overall great vacation! Already planning on returning!

Our stay in Hilton Head

Our condo in Hickory Cove was great for a girlfriend getaway! Location was close to beach, numerous restaurants and bike trails. We’ve stayed here 2 years in a row.

Hickory Grove 18

The convenience location for me was great...close to the beach, close to the pool, golf course out the back door where I watched the deer cross in the morning while drinking my coffee, close to the lagoon, the Marriott where I had meetings and the store.

Hilton head townhome

Overall had a great and safe stay in Hilton head. This place is literally 5 min walk to the beach. Kitchen was well equipped and renovated. All amenities were there as advertised. The pool is not in the back yard like the picture shows but close enough. We did not use the pool. The deck backs into the golf course and you can see golf carts all the time. Location is beautiful. The reason not giving five stars is because they could have done better keeping house clean. There are items in the closet which look like the owners and should not be left around. Bedding could have been a bit better. The bed room downstairs takes longer to cool than the rest of the home. Would still recommend this place. We enjoyed our stay. The Vacassa customer was prompt to respond via text. Checkin and checkout was easy via text. There are 3 full baths which makes this concubine time for larger groups.

Great stay for week of golf...

Villa was clean. With restaurants close we did quite a bit of cooking at home. Found everything we needed. Plenty of towels and toiletries. We had a great stay. Looking forward to next year.
