Dirty

Has potential and location is good, but needs a deep clean and simple repairs. The room was hot but no screen (OR LATCH!?!) on sliding glass door and the fan was so dusty I was scared to use it. Not sure what happened, but there was dried urine on 1 bed and stained comfortor and linens. Bird poop on the balcony, sqeaky bathroom fan, no latch on sliding glass door.

Sea Treasures Inn

We stayed at the Sea Treasures Inn in July. There was no A/C or fan for cooling off at night, no screen on the porch door to open to let fresh air in without bugs getting in which was clearly an issue for them since there was a old fly strip in the corner of the room that no longer worked. The porch had a dead baby bird on it when we arrived, one of the beds had sand and something gross stuck to the comforter, the outlets were too loose to be able to charge things, and the foot-washing stationed outside had birdshit all over it. I adore Rockaway I know she's a bit old and run down, but I will not be recommending or staying at the Sea Treasures Inn given the conditions of the place and lack of service and cleanliness. The stay was affordable and the location was very convenient, but sadly everything else was disappointing about the room we stayed in.

Tv did not work

The room overall was fine. Nice, close proximity to beach entrance and dining establishments. The beds are in dire need of new box springs, very noisy. The sticky fly tape over the coffee pot and dog hair in the fan was not very becoming. It was very frustrating that the TV did not work, it only allowed one channel, the remote would not change the channel at all.

Great stay!

Nothing fancy but clean and super-convenient! We would stay here again. Only issue was the key box - we were given the code but no instructions about how it worked, and it took us a while to figure it out.

The room we stayed in was not clean, there was sand on one of the bed comforters and something gross stuck to it as well as stained and clearly not washed. There was a dead baby bird that we found on the back balcony when we arrived as well.

Economical

The place was clean and well stocked with towels. It is older and needs some maintenance, but for the price it is a great place to sleep. It is also very close to the ocean and a short drive to neighboring towns we wanted to visit. The only drawback is the area. There is not much to offer in the way of restaurants or anything you might need.

Not what expeected

The sliding glass door does not lock. I did not feel safe! The key was very difficult to obtain from the lockbox and once I got it into the actual door knob, it kept getting stuck. The beds were also very creaky and uncomfortable. Would not recommend this place!

I stayed here on a last minute trip to the coast & the location is great for being the last rental available. The place was very clean. The beds are comfortable but very loud and creaky. WiFi was in and out and there was never enough hot water for even a 10 minute shower.

Great location

The unit that we stayed in was decent. The location is great: walking distance to stores and second to the beach. The beds were comfortable. The amenities were stocked and clean. Don’t fiddle with the balcony door; you might have a difficult time closing it back. Also, there’s no screen to keep the insects out. Not all the outlets work. So check which ones do before you decide to charge anything. TV in my parents room had a life of its own. Was turning on and off by itself.

Sea Treasures Inn

The room was large enough for the two of us and our 2 big dogs and was clean. Bedding was comfortable but mattresses were noisy. We found out the first night that the wall heaters didn't work and it was in the 30's outside so it was almost like tent camping. Michael, the maintenance tech, was onsite the very next day and tried to repair the wall heaters. When it was evident that wasn't an option, he brought over space heaters for the next 2 nights. He was great and super attentive. The only other negative is that the unit has a sliding glass door with a nice balcony overlooking Hwy 101 - however we could not use it because there was a nesting pigeon couple on the balcony and bird poop all over.

Cute Place and Great Location!

Really liked this place! The beach was only like 30 feet from the parking lot, and the local shops were just across the road. The beds were noisy but its a nice room.

Not thrilled

Hardwood floors, didnt like no ice machine, no screen on slider, no garbage cans on property, stained pillows being hidden by cases, broken shower, no air flow, hot and uncomfortable. Electricity went off a lot. Good location. No foot wash for sandy feet as it said
