Older property with a great location

Check-in was a breeze with detailed instructions and no hiccups. The property is older with some new updates like laminate flooring. Linens and appliances were clean and the room was comfortable. Being an older property the walls are quite thin and don’t provide a whole lot of noise insulation. For location, you can’t beat it. The beach is literally just around the corner. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.

Older property with great location.

The room and linens were clean and comfortable and there were updated touches like laminate flooring. Know that this is an older property and staining on the walls and baseboards reflects that. The walls are quite thin as well so don’t expect a lot of privacy noise/sound-wise. Where this property really shines is in its location! I spent most of my time outside and on the beach. With beach access one very short block away, it served me well! Extra beach towels were provided too! The price point was reasonable and the location was perfect, I would happily stay again.

Birthday weekend getaway!

Very clean and comfy stay for the hubby and myself! Here for my birthday getaway and it was exactly what I needed! Definitely need to bring the kiddos next time!

Okay place to stay

Clean room and comfortable bed. Love that it’s within walking distance of the beach and all of the lovely shops on the Main Street (Hwy 101). Nothing was plugged in or set up for us to use and the bed was noisy. We were a bit disappointed that we couldn’t find a station to watch to relax after the sun went down…and no office staff on the premises to help. Location is great though.

We never saw a dumpster and werent aware of the code until we had checked out and left, then were given a key and told there was one. Other than that it was a wonderful stay and a beautiful room!

We enjoyed how close to the beach this apartment was. It was very close to where we could access...

There are a few mechanical issues that were not great. Many of the electrical outlets were worn out and didn't hold the appliance plugged into them. Also, the shower would not maintain a consistent temperature. Finally, the toilet needed a new flapper and would run intermittently until the handle was jiggled.

Not as pictured

Rented for the weekend. Ended up only staying one night and getting a hotel room for the rest of my trip. Location is nice but the pictures of the room are misleading. The bed makes a horrific sound with the slightest movement and also uncomfortable. There were many hairs left in the sheets, the complimentary coffee was already opened from previous customers, entry door was rusted out and the back balcony was covered in bird poop.

Nice location

The location to the beach and town is great. The unit itself is old and the bed needs replacing - badly. We left a day early because of the bed. It was clean except for the floors which were horribly dirty.

Sucked

I did love the hot water and mini fridge. The rest was awful. The doors and trim were filthy. The mattress was horrible and worn as well as the pillows were flimsy with no substance. The TV wouldn't work. The night stand was worn and about to fall apart. The lazy boy chair was so gross we put the extra blanket over it.

Absolutely a horrible property

This place was disgusting. Dirty, Old, motel, Randown, it STUNK of mold- wet dog, towels, linens were dirty. Hair in the tub and on our bed. TV did not work, shower dripped water, unable to even shower. ABSOLUTE a Complete waist of ALOT of money. They should have never charged what they did. Do NOT rent any unit on this property. This place is horrible.

Great location!

Nice, clean and pleasantly CLOSE to the beach & across from Rockaway's main street, keeping everything we wanted to experience within a short walking distance. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the comfort of being centrally located. Loved the locals we met within the vicinity, as well - Overall a wonderful place to stay!

Fourth of July weekend.

Not the best place to have a pet on 4th of July week. Loud noises all of our 5 nights. We had Cable issues and had no TV for 2 days. Beaches difficult to maneuver slipped on rocks.

I received a dose of food poisoning from the Burgerking so this may be biased. The room was clean and well maintained, above expectation. The check-in and communications procedures were flawed beyond belief. I left seven messages

Decent if your traveling with dogs.

Fairly clean. A few spots overlooked by housekeeping but, for a dog friendly room it's decent. Just be aware the walls are thin. You can hear the neighbors bathroom fans, which are loud and unpleasant. This particular room (207) had a lumpy and extremely noisy bed. Everytime you roll over it makes loud creaking noises. There is no way to get out of bed without waking your partner...rediculous. Room 207 is also next to an employee's only space. We heard a lot of banging around. The banging stopped by 10pm, but what we assumed was the bathroom fan, was left running for several hours during the night into early morning. I wouldn't classify this as a place to relax and get a good nights sleep, but a decent enough place to crash if you are looking for a pet friendly spot within walking distance of the beach.

Great Price and Great Location

The room was very clean and we were only a block away from the beach and in walking distance to all the shops! We were there for 4 days and had to make the towels last because there was no way to ask for more. We will defiantly stay again

Ocean getaway

It was nice to find a spot on the beach to get away from the heat for the weekend. The room was very clean and the ease of renting was fantastic. I would visit again.
