Nice Beach Weekend Condo

We really enjoyed our weekend trip to this condo. The resort was great with all of the amenities. The room is cute and nicely decorated. It is small, but perfect for a couple or quick trip with a small family. The only complaint I have is the cigarette smoke smell in the room. We noticed it as soon as we got to the room. Without that I would have given 5 stars.

review

overall a good stay! the home was clean for the most part but sheets did have a few stains and it did have a smoke smell. nothing that was bothersome but it was noticeable. we weren’t able to use the washer or dyer even thought it said it came equipped with them. regardless we enjoyed our stay but definitely room for improvement.

Overall, it was very nice. Dislikes: The shower needs more shelving. There was no dustpan or trash bags. There was only one cushioned chair on the outside balcony. The floor was dusty. Besides that, it felt safe, neighbors were all friendly. It was overall clean. Happy with our stay!

Very cute!

Beds were comfortable, the place was clean, the only problem we had was the freezer in the little refrigerator being overgrown with ice and needing defrosting really badly. Made it hard to get our ice packs in to freeze

Pictures are inaccurate. Condo was still nice.

The condo was as pictured, however; the condominium pictures and pool area are not the same place but we’re from the Shores of Panama. This was broughtt to Vicasas attention and they are supposed to get it updated. The pool area is not as large and nice. It’s a decent area but not what we we’re supposed to be getting. We called Vicasa and did get a small refund due to the false advertisement. The shower will leak out in to the bathroom floor real bad so place towels down. The outlet for the microwave is completely out of the wall and seems hazardous so we didn’t use it. The condo is connected to another condo and we could hear conversations from them so we felt we had to stay quite as well. The condo was clean and has a beautiful view and great location. I believe it has recently switched ownership so hopefully those minor issues can be fixed. I would recommend the stay just expect a different pool area and the issues listed. Google the boardwalk Beach Resort pool area pictures. Different but still decent.

Great Stay

The room was nice and updated. The bed was super comfortable! Balcony had a great view of the gulf. Nice walk in pool, 2 hot tubs, and a kiddie pool/splash pad area. There were multiple restaurants on the property which was super convenient. The only negative I have was they closed the pool if rain was anywhere near and it never rained while we were there.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This unit and location was perfect for a quick weekend getaway. The small kitchenette allowed for breakfast/snack storage. Very close to wonderful restaurants and for hours on the beach. The view of sunrise was inspiring from the balcony.

Great place to stay

19th floor of a huge condo.

The room was clean and all it claimed to be. The parking pass was not in the room when we arrived. I called and they delivered it 20 minutes later. The room is a little dated--but overall it was a nice stay.

Great location

The Boardwalk Resort itself was great. We didn’t get in from our flight until pretty late, but there was a security guard at the entrance and we were given the door code in advance so check in was a breeze. The view from the balcony was amazing and you can literally see the ocean from the bed so that was super nice to wake up to every morning. The pool area was nice and the beach was right there outside the gate, barely even a minute-long walk from the elevators. 5 stars for location. However, the unit could use some work. A big selling point of this condo for us was the jetted tub but we were unable to use it because there was never enough hot water. We actually had to cut our showers short because it started running cold after just a couple of minutes. It appeared to us that the water heater as well as the A/C unit are controlled externally by the owner so we were constantly having to turn down the air. The microwave was smelly and made our food taste weird, there was a coffee pot but no filters, and we were only given one roll of toilet paper to last our entire stay. The unit next door was being renovated during our stay so we could hear sawing, hammering, nail guns, and men talking loudly beginning every morning at 8 am sharp. If you plan to spend most of your time out and about, it’s the perfect location. But we were here for our honeymoon and just wanted a place to sleep in and relax and unfortunately we weren’t really able to do that.

Room spelled like marijuana

Room keypad number did not work and couldn’t get in room. Called and they reset it... still didn’t work. They didn’t know what was wrong.. so we waited .. and finally they reset it again and was able to get in the room. The room smelled like marijuana the whole stay. We had construction (remodeling) going on in the room next to us so there was a lot of noise. One night they were still working and making a lot of racket at 11:30 at night.... I had to knock on their door and ask them to stop ... and I knew then that that’s where the pot smell was coming from although I had already suspected that.
