Wedding weekend

In town for a friends wedding. This was a great place to stay. the location was excellent. Close to everything. The house was perfect for 2 people.

Clean house, gracious host

The cabin is quite cute And has all the basics you need for short term stay. The hose was responsive and understanding during the check-in and checkout process. Would recommend.

Sweet Cottage in the city

As we travelled out daily to experience what Colorado Springs has to offer, the sweet cottage in the city was charming. If you love nostalgia, this cottage is perfect! It is quaint, clean and has the modern amenities that you need to be comfortable. Beth and John our hosts were incredibly personable and timely with responses. We had a great stay!!

Cute Place; great location

This property was in a great location and easy to get to different areas around Colorado Springs. The decorations maintained some of its old charm with light fixtures and wood paneling, and it had all the essentials we needed. The bathroom shower was a bit tight, but worked fine for the two of us staying there.

We thought that the place was great to stay in. However the one complaint is the tv. Most VRBOs such as this one only have streaming services. We could not get the services to work even typing in our password, or couldn't get our phone to stream to the TV. We have cable and satellite at home so this is all new to us and we don't like it. We will be more careful with VRBOs from now on to make sure that they have cable or satellite or we will choose hotels so we can get TV to watch. After a day of touring we like to settle in and watch TV. Don't want to have to fight with streaming when it doesn't work. Then you can't watch TV because if you can't get anything to work you are kind of done.

It was good

The cottage was cute and very small. There were cobwebs on the old-timey light fixtures and the screen doors. The other thing is the owners conduct business on their property right next to this cottage. Every morning we had to hear a loud red car park behind the cottage as well as other car traffic coming through.

Perfect Cozy Cottage. Great Location. Great Hosts.

Loved this little cottage. Perfect to make meals in the little kitchen, nice table to eat at or when I had to work (strong wifi). Sitting area with big flatscreen TV and DVD. Comfy bed. Very clean. Close to downtown, Old Colorado City, Garden of the Gods, restaurants, etc. Hosts were quick to respond to messages, very helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend!

Refreshing and comfortable.

The cottage we stayed in was very comfortable we enjoyed it immensely . The property owner Beth was an outstanding host when we needed something she responded quickly. We definitely would stay there again.

Convenient location

The cottage was clean but dated.The bedroom only has a full size bed which is tight for 2 adults. The mattress also needs to be replaced, you roll to the middle. Convenient to everything in Colorado Springs

Needs to be more up dated felt old and out dated

Great little cottage

Spent several days here. Great location, good neighborhood, close to Interstate access. Perfect rental for a couple. Hosts were very responsive - would stay here again.

Small cottage close to downtown

Property was clean and comfortable. Met the needs of my wife and myself, especially for the cost. Close to highway and downtown. Very short drive to large attractions. Interaction with host was always positive. Kitchen was limited if you plan on cooking in it. Would recommend this place for a couple looking to explore the area.

Charming Cottage

This was the perfect size place for my wife and I. It is located near hiking and outdoor activities and many restaurants. The Cottage was clean and had an old charm. The owners were very easy to communicate with and everything was exactly as advertised.

Beth's parents referred to this little gem as their "honeymoon" cottage when they first moved here and needed a temporary place to land while they got their feet on their ground here. It's close to I-25 and both downtown Colorado Springs and the Historic OCC area. Also just minutes to the Olympic Training Center, World Arena, The Pinery and more!
