Step into our airy open concept apartment with ocean views and tons of natural light.

The living room has vaulted ceilings, ocean views, and includes a large over-sized sectional, mid century modern TV stand, and a large TV with Netflix, Disney Plus and Amazon Video.

The dining room includes seating!

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and all dishes/cookware.

The bedroom offers ocean views and includes a memory foam mattress, plush bedding, and a dresser w/mirror.

The bathroom is newly remodeled with tons of natural light.

The deck offers panoramic ocean views and outdoor seating!

In the shed you will have access to beach chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler!

This is an upper level apartment there is an Airbnb apartment below you but this is completely separate then your apartment.

You will have full access to your private apartment, and the shed with beach gear!

I live just down the street and are available any time via phone or text or Airbnb App. Please do not hesitate to reach out for anything you may need! We respect the fact that you are on vacation and really like to give our guest as much privacy as possible. That being said we are here if you need us at any point :)

All of our neighbors look out for one another. A few of them are short term rentals hosts as well so you are surrounded by a great group of locals and it is extremely safe.

PLEASE NOTE: this apartment is not ocean front but has ocean views. It is located on one of the tallest parts of the island. The home is extremely close to the ocean just minutes away to a public beach access with free parking :) We do recommend driving vs walking so you don't have to carry the beach gear we provide across a busier summer road. The ocean is just a few blocks away. There are two Airbnb apartments below yours that are completely separate.

Exactly what we needed.

We had a fantastic stay at this VRBO in the Outer Banks! The space was exactly what we needed — comfortable, well-equipped, and thoughtfully arranged. It had everything from kitchen essentials to cozy bedding, making it feel like a true home away from home. The location couldn’t have been better, as it was centrally located to all the main attractions in the area, making it easy to explore and enjoy everything the Outer Banks has to offer. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a convenient and relaxing place to stay!

Summer vacay

Peaceful stay at The Welch

Hubby and I went for our anniversary. The place was very clean and centrally located in that we could get to restaurants or grocery store in a short drive. Best of all was that it was really peaceful and quiet and we enjoyed use of the chairs and umbrella to take to the beaxh as well as the deck outside. Liked the decor and it was appointed well. If you want a quiet and peaceful place, this will be a great choice for a couple.

Great Apartment

This was a cute, cozy place located conveniently near the beach, but far enough away to feel like a quiet personal oasis. The host was very communicative and kept me up to date constantly leading up to the stay and during. They had all the necessities for cooking (which is a plus for me!) and the couch was perfect after a day in the sun. Would definitely recommend for a romantic getaway!

Relaxing!!

The place was spectacularly maintained. Extremely clean and organized. Very comfortable furniture, comfortable bed and a great getaway on the outer banks. Highly recommend for a couples retreat. Easy access to beach, restaurants and stores. Not disappointed in any way.

Lovely rental, we would stay again. Location, cleanliness, space and decor were wonderful for a couple! Note, you do have to drive to the beach because of busy street between the rental and ocean. Only took a few minutes. We were here in the winter. I assume it would be busier in the summer.

This home is perfect for a couple. It was clean , kitchen had all the tools if you decide to stay in. Artim was an excellent host and his communication was outstanding.

Wonderful stay in Kitty Hawk

My partner and I had a wonderful stat in Kitty Hawk and enjoyed the rental. It was very clean, the couch and bed were super comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you could need, whether you want to cook at home or go out for dinner. There is only one bathroom so plan accordingly. The communication was flawless and Artim responded almost instantly whenever I had a question. Also very short drive to the beach (about 2 min) Highly recommend and would definitely stay again in the future.

Great accommodations & host! Will return =)

The booking, check-in and check-out processes were a breeze. The host was good about communicating the available amenities provided, ability for early check in and in following up about our trip and stay at the property. The accommodation was really nice and perfect for our needs - a relaxing beach weekend. We'll consider this host's other properties again in future.

Great Stay in Kitty Hawk and the Outer Banks

We weren't sure where we wanted to stay in the Outer Banks but the convenient and central location in Kitty Hawk worked perfectly to give us access to several islands and locations. The very comfortable unit was beautifully decorated and it met all of our hopes and expectations. And having complimentary access to the beach umbrella and chairs with the many choices for neighboring beach access was a big plus. In addition, our host was a great communicator and made each step of the rental experience pleasant, simple, and easy - including some great recommendations of local restaurants. If you are looking for something central in the OBX and Kitty Hawk, we would highly recommend.

Relaxing, quiet get-away

Very clean, comfortable top floor unit with two other rentals on bottom floor. Never heard neighbors; extremely quiet inside. King size bed and bedding is very comfortable; light and bright in the early morning so bring a sleep mask. Plenty of beach gear to borrow; chairs, umbrella, etc. Easy and quick drive to beach. No washer/dryer on property.

Terrific 20th anniversary trip!

We had a wonderful time in the OBX! This apartment was located in the middle of everything, making daily trips to see the sights all over the OBX an easy ride. It was very clean, quiet, & comfortable. We loved all the special touches in the decor & the kitchen was fully equipped. You definitely have to drive to the beach due to the very busy 4 lane major highway to cross, but it is very close to multiple beach access areas with free parking. The guide emailed to us was super helpful for finding great restaurants & places to visit! Make sure you plan to wake up early to watch the sunrise over the ocean from the deck. The view was beautiful on cloudless & cloudy days! The only issue we had was the internet lagging. I had to work remotely occasionally during our trip. It was a good thing my laptop has cellular access, or I would have been in trouble. While watching Netflix, the shows often paused to catch up so that we gave up trying to watch something a few times. Communication was top notch, though, & we highly recommend this apartment!

Beautiful Apartment

Me and my husband enjoyed our stay at this beautiful little apartment. The place was plenty of room for just me and my husband. Was very aesthetically decorated. Could probably use a new shower head in the bathroom, this one works fine but water pressure isn’t great. Would definitely stay here again!
