Denna lägenhet vid havet har utsikt över en miljon dollar! Den har ett underbart stort rum och ett vackert fullt utrustat kök. Med havets brus bara några meter bort kommer du inte att lämna Lanai efter att du har kopplat av på Tropitone-möblerna.

En vacker liten sandstrand ligger precis framför din Lanai. Detta är sällsynt på Big Island. Det finns också många "världsberömda stränder" bara några mil bort. Världens bästa snorkling ligger vid Kona-kusten.

Detta är en spektakulär fastighet designad av den prisbelönta arkitekten VLADIMIR OSSIPOFF. Den innehåller många funktioner som är hans varumärke, till exempel avskärmade fullängdsluver i hela för att ge genomströmningsventilation, en stor öppen lanai och skjutbara glasdörrar och skärmar som helt gömmer sig i en ficka som lämnar hela köket och det stora rummet öppet för Lanai. Detta är ett privat komplex med endast sex enheter. Det är cirka 2 mil till centrum av Kailua-Kona Village. Den stora ön är enorm, i själva verket kan alla andra öar tillsammans passa på den. Det finns så mycket att göra. Du är ungefär en mil från friluftsmarknaden Ali'i Gardens, där du kan leta efter lokala produkter, kaffe, macnuts och souvenirer.

Plats! Plats! Plats! Vi ligger precis vid en vacker liten sandstrand med tidvattenbassänger fulla av fiskar, sköldpaddor och underbara glittrande vatten. Det är bra att titta på hela dagen och så kul för barnen. Solnedgångarna är också spektakulära. Inga folkmassor eftersom tillgången till stranden för allmänheten är cirka 1/4 mil bort över Lava. Du kan sitta på Lanai och se spinndelfiner gå förbi året och valar när de är under säsong.

Great Location!

We stayed here for the Ironman race. The location was perfect and the views alone were amazing. I was anxious about the condo not having air conditioning, but the sea breeze and the fans provided kept the space cool. There kitchen had everything you could think of, and having a washer dryer in the unit was handy. Would definitely stay here again.

Serenity now

We have stayed quite a few times at hale pohaku 4 and enjoy our stay every time. The location is everything with the sounds of the ocean and a little turtle refuge down the beach. Alii Dr can get a little noisy at night but not enough for us to want to stay anywhere else. The owners are easy to communicate with. The condo has everything a person could need.

Great Spring Break Week

We spent spring/Easter break at the condo. The sunsets were amazing! The condo had all of the necessities and communication for checkin was super efficient. The pool was much nicer than pictured and the kids loved the tide pools right outside. Water shoes are a must because beach is mostly lava rock but still very fun. We had some hot water issues but that may have been because we didn’t understand the hot water timer possibly. Not a big deal at all but more explanation on how that works would be helpful. Overall a great trip!

Magical Birthday Getaway

I'm 12 days older than my wife. We came to Hawaii for 2 weeks to celebrate our Birthdays, spending part of our time here before going to the Hilo side. From booking through the whole stay here was magical. The owner is friendly and professional. Directions from the airport to the front door were spot on. It was exactly as pictured. Woke up on my birthday to watch whales breach just in front of the large lanai followed by dolphins leaping. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Lots of beach items available, though we didn't use them. Couldn't figure out the TV, but were too busy so that didn't matter. Can hear some traffic noise in the bedroom closest to the highway in the early morning. Loved the pool, though no one else used it. Access to the rock and small sand beach was a plus. Great location and host!

You get what you pay for.

Beautiful facility and location. Exterior was in process of being refreshed (tennis courts). The pool was recently updated and the grounds were well kept. Great access to the beach in front of the condo. Prior renters had complained about noise from Ali Dr. which the property backs onto, but we didn’t find it to be a problem. No air, but plenty of fans to keep things cool. Some of the items on the interior were a staring to show their age…. I’m sure the owners will address this if they still want to demand a premium price. But, this is just a nit pick. Overall, wonderful property, wonderful experience.

A Piece of Paradise

Wow! If ocean views and crashing waves are your idea of heaven, then this is the place for you! From the moment you walk in until your head hits the pillow, this condo delivers the best experience. The lanai is spacious with the best views that extend into the kitchen. You won't miss a gorgeous moment while whipping up your favorite eats. And with the wall of sliding doors you get to experience the cooling Tradewinds and if they aren't blowing, there are plenty of excellent fans to keep you cool. The location is fantastic with easy access to the town of Kona and close to the best snorkeling for all levels. Don't miss the tacos at Shakaz Tacoz and wares at the Alii marketplace just a 1/2 mile up the road- an easy walk. The only downside here was tearing ourselves away from the view to leave and visit all the Big Island has to offer. We will definitely be back !

Couldn’t Ask For a Better View!

This condo was just perfect for our needs! Recommended by a friend of mine who has booked with the host, Cecille, twice, this condo did not disappoint! Nice and quiet (only 6 units in building) this condo afforded us beautiful mornings as well as stunning sunsets. Literally everything we could have imagined needing was made available to us - especially in the kitchen! Beach towels, toys, floats, chairs - you name it, it was there. Very nice welcome chocolates along with the info on how to reach the caretakers was a nice touch. Don’t worry about no AC - there were plenty of fans and some we didn’t even turn on. The pool was a refreshing touch. Easy in/out instructions made for contactless check-in and out. There were a few items that were corroded by the salt air but HELLO, you are literally steps to the ocean so that cannot be helped. Communication with Cecille was easy and she responded quickly. Lovely host! The only concern I would point out - and I say this only as I am disabled and somewhat wobbly on rocky terrain - it could be a bit tricky walking over the lava to get to the private beach. I recommend a good pair of water shoes with decent grip to help you traverse. But it’s well worth it! Walking around the volcanic tide pools, I spotted baby eels and other incredible macro sea life, not to mention some cool broken pencil urchin spines and yes, even some sea glass. Lots to discover! I can’t wait to return!

All the amenities of home PLUS the most gorgeous and amazing view from the lanai!

My family of 4 really enjoyed our stay and had all of the amenities we would typically use at home with the addition of the most amazing view off of the lanai. We did not see any dolphins or turtles in front of the condo while we were there but had fun walking on the rocks and just staring out at the ocean. We cannot wait to return! The co-owners, Cecille and Janet, were incredibly helpful, informative, responsive, and accommodating. The condo was clean upon arrival. Pack lite as there is a washer and dryer (suggestion, leave the washer door open to let moisture escape and prevent mildew build up). We had the pool to ourselves every day. Great pool (3.5 to 6 to 9 feet). Plenty of snorkel/beach gear. Take inventory of what is there before buying. We left some beach items to contribute to the fun! You are very close to downtown with restaurants and shops. Walmart and Safeway are a couple of miles away and Costco is about 15 minutes away. As some of the other reviewers mentioned, there is no AC which we were a little concerned about but not an issue at all. You can hear cars/motorcycles going by on Alii St (mostly at night as we were out during the day) but it did not bother our sleep. You wake up to birds chirping which we found very tropical and sweet. The condo is very spacious and comfortable, but does have some wear and tear in and around the property but given the proximity to the ocean it is to be expected but nothing that would keep us from returning. Loved this condo! View was amazing, right there on the ocean front. No other people in the building for the first 5 days so we had the pool to ourselves. Kona is just down the road a few miles. Two farmer's markets were within walking distance as well as some beautiful beaches. Private parking with a reserved spot. The only time we wished it had air conditioning when when it was raining and very humid. Otherwise, the breeze and the sound of the ocean from the open windows were wonderful. Some traffic noises especially on weekend nights were loud but it eventually quiets down. We were so exhausted from hiking and swimming each day that it wasn't a problem. We had everything we needed in this condo. We would definitely stay here again!

Wir kommen gerne wieder! Es war wirklich alles da. Küche voll ausgestattet inkl. Geschirrspülmaschine. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und wir haben den Aufenthalt von 6 Nächten sehr genossen. Der Abschied fiel sehr schwer. Es war nie zu warm und wir haben die Klimaanlage absolut nicht vermisst (Aufenthalt Mitte Juli). Die Fenster haben Mückengitter. Absolutes Highlight ist natürlich der Balkon im 1. Stock mit Blick auf das Meer. Besser geht es nicht. Der Poolbereich ist gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Wundervoller Garten mit direktem Zugang zum Meer mit einem kleinen Strandabschnitt. Überdachter privater Parkplatz. Mit dem Rauschen der Wellen einzuschlafen wird uns fehlen… Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber! Die Unterkunft hat unseren Aufenthalt auf Big Island unvergesslich gemacht. Uneingeschränkt zu Empfehlen ….

Amazing view and comfortable space for families

We enjoyed the condo so much and would recommend it to families. We especially liked the view, easy access to a private pool (we were the only ones there), and beach front access. The high surf during our made it too dangerous to spend time on the beach right below the property, but the one time we were able to it was so beautiful and peaceful. Kids loved looking for crabs and fish in the tide pools. In the calmer months it must be fantastic to stay there. The condo had everything we needed and the beach gear was a nice surprise. A few things were broken (beach chair and boogie boards), but we had enough for our needs. We were able to make meals with the fully equipped kitchen. The beds were cozy and living room relaxing. Obviously LOVED the balcony. I wanted to sleep out there. The traffic and neighbor noise at night was bothersome Saturday evening but otherwise the waves were peaceful to sleep to. No AC but was ok with the windows open. Our only complaint was the cleanliness / maintenance needs. It seemed like the window sills, base boards, cabinets and lamps were dusty. Possibly the cleaning crew could get to those areas more often. There was a mildew odor in kitchen cabinets and closets which can be common in a humid area but was a bit bothersome at times. I am super sensitive to smells. No one else in the family noticed.Location is great. a quick drive in either direction to places of interest. Walking possible, but not with small kids.

Most perfect view on the Island

The property was so gorgeous. Just off the lanai is the pool, gardens and beach. A lovely sandy beach is right outside the gate, just steps from your condo. Amazing view, palm trees and lovely accommodations.

Beautiful!!

This is a very nice condo in a great location. It is very well stocked in the kitchen, as well as many towels, bathroom items and beach gear. Bedrooms had nice closets and room to hang your clothes. Beautiful sunsets and views from the lanai any time of the day. I would definitely stay here again.

5-Star setting!

This unit is in a building of 6 condos, all facing the ocean. You have your own, assigned parking spot and the condo is easily accessible using a short flight of stairs. The view from the living area and lanai is spectacular! You will be hard pressed to find a better view! We spent a great deal of time just sitting on the lanai and watching the waves, boat activity, etc. and listening to the waves crashing on shore. The kitchen is well stocked. Some spices were left in cabinets. Also had some condiments in the refrigerator upon arrival. King bed was very comfortable. No air-conditioning in condo but we wouldn’t have needed it. We left lanai doors and windows open and had a lovely breeze throughout the unit at all times. There are stand-alone fans in addition to ceiling fans. We had 80% humidity while there and were very comfortable. There is a small, sandy beach in front of condo as well as next door to building. The pool is heated with solar and very comfortable. Alii market place is a few blocks away. The host is quick to respond to questions and is very accommodating. We would definitely return to this unit! We enjoyed our stay and the location.
