Decent beach house stay
The location of this home was great- you have beach access across the street and a dock in the bay side. This neighborhood is closest to portifino resort on a quiet cul de sac. The size of the house was great- we had 9 people, 4 children ages 9-13 and the rest adults. It was nice having a washer/dryer and kitchen has very basic utensils. Check in process was super easy.
Things that could make the home even better: the floors were dirty/didn’t seem like it had been cleaned well upon arrival. I actually vacuumed the whole thing myself bc I couldn’t take it. The vacuum was clogged and not cleaned out, which is probably why the floors were not clean. The house itself needs some work- floors especially near the base of the stairs are sinking in. Picture online need updating- a house now exists on the left side of this house. It rained every day and we were sad we couldn’t sit on the decks- there is no roof overhang so water ran down and would soak everything on the porch- while other neighbors could atleast still sit outside. There is absolutely no extras- no salt/pepper/spices, oil. Pans need updating. Bring a hairdryer (which is listed/communicated). The garage space is only useful for small/compact cars- couldn’t get our truck covered. The pool is right across the street from the house- but it leaves a lot to be desired. Few pool chairs that are old, the pool itself is VERY basic. Needs refurbishing- kids were picking up liner that was disintegrating.
