Hillcrest Park ligger bara nÄgra steg bort med en full lekplats för barn. Detta hus sover 10 bekvÀmt. Sovrummen har luftkonditionering under sommarmÄnaderna. En stor avskÀrmad veranda, inhÀgnad trÀdgÄrd och soldÀck med en gasgrill lÄter dig njuta av lite kul utomhus och glöm inte att stanna i utomhusbadet för ett dopp! Inuti kan du njuta av den vedeldande Vermont-ugnen i vardagsrummet eller se en fantastisk film i den mysiga hÀllen medan dina barn tycker om att spela lite airhockey / ping-pong i den möblerade kÀllaren. Great location and comfortable stay! House was well equipped with just about everything we needed. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is because the basement (where the games and game room were located) was damp and musty, and the top railing of the kid's bunkbed was hardly attached. Both of these issues were shared with the property manager and will hopefully be fixed in the future. I'd also say that this house is better suited for families with kids ages 4/5 and up - it wasn't the best place to have my toddler running around, but we made it work! Still, the house itself was great for our 10 person group, which included my family, my in-laws and my sister-in-law's family. Lots of places to sit and eat, plenty of dishes, glasses and silverware to go around, and plenty of comfortable couches and chairs to relax in as well. We loved that we could walk to main street and avoid dealing with parking in town - but word to the wise, make sure you are prepared for lots of walking up and down hills to do this. We didn't mind, but some people might!

This was one of the best rental properties we’ve found anywhere! The location close to town was amazing, and the property itself was beautiful and so comfortable for our family of 4. We would choose to stay here again with another family (could comfortably host up to 10), and any time of year. It would also be wonderful in spring/fall using the fire pit, and the hot tub is wonderful any time of year! (Even in July when temperatures overnight drop to 50). Wonderful property and hosts.

Wonderful and spacious house! Very close to Main Street. Very comfortable beds and super clean place! Host was quick and responsive when I asked where the coffee filters were (in a cupboard I didn’t look in lol). The kitchen has everything. We rented Stand Up Paddle Boards from Locker Room 5,
highly recommend! Would only recommend a/c downstairs (bedrooms have window units which worked well)

Charming Stay in Lake Placid

Well located home, short walk to Main Street and less than 15 min walk to Mirror Lake Beach. There’s a very convenient playground less than half a block from the house for the kids, and the front yard is totally fenced in too. The house was very clean, but there are some spaces that could use some updating. Overall, a sweet home that had everything four adults and five kids needed! Oh and towels were provided which is a nice plus!

Great place and location

We had a great time on our girls golf trip here. Walking distance to the restaurants, bars, and shops on Main Street. Great outdoor area. It was chilly, so we spent a lot of time outside by the fireplace. Nice neighborhood. Basement had ping pon and foosball, so we got into that as well. Basement smelled a little musty, but it’s a basement so not a big deal!! Really great spot and perfect for our 8 person group! Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful house, great location

My group of six adults fit very easily in this house. The location is perfect. It is a quick walk to main Street and the lake. The grocery store is right around the corner. There is comfortable seating and sleeping options for all. The communication with the owner/manager was easy and instructions were clear. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful place

This is a fantastic, cozy place that's a great retreat. All the amenities you could ever need, and a great layout. Super basement for gear storage and management for outdoor sports as well. Already can't wait to go back!

We had high expectations

The game room is not as it appears in the description. It's a very small room with a futon and a Foosball table, no tv and very cold. Air hockey was fine ping-pong was a table top that goes over the air hockey game There is also only 1 tv in the entire house.

Cousins' winter reunion

Our family and my cousin's family (six kids btw 11-18) enjoyed our winter reunion at this charming home! Plenty for the kids to do in the evening along with daytime outdoor activities that were close by. We had a fabulous stay!

Birthday weekend getaway

Great house in a fantastic location! We walked all over the town of Lake Placid - it was nice not having to drive everywhere. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of room in the house and the beds were comfy! We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, on the deck and porch and the game room was fun! Would definitely stay again!!!

Home base for UCI bike race at Van Hoevenberg

Great place for family weekend getaway. Highlights: Super easy walk to Main St through the park and down a paved path. Large space w basement activities for kids. Hot tub was a treat. We didn’t have a fire, but was all set up if you wanted one. Plenty of comfy beds, nice kitchen, and everything was clean. Lowlights: not many, but if I had to pick one it was Showering. The clawfoot tub upstairs was a PITA, high step to get into tub is a fall risk, not much room w hanging curtain, valve didn’t work well and if you’re not careful water can spray everywhere. Basement shower worked better but was a bit dingy and, well, in the basement. Still recommend this place despite the shower situation. Just wanted to give owner some constructive feedback.

One of our favorite weeks of the year!

We have been staying at Tim and Patricia's adorable house for the last 3 years. It's always clean and the check in process is seamless. This year we needed help with the TV (for the Olympics) and Tim was super helpful and responded to us right away. The location can't be beat which is why we keep coming back every year!

Marvelous Mirror Lake

Fabulous 3 day weekend stay for a family wedding at High Peaks Resort. Beautiful, cozy, adirondack style decorated home. Plenty of room for our family of 6 adults & 2 children. Kids loved the foosball table! Perfect location!

Ironman weekend

We had a wonderful stay at this property for Ironman weekend. Stayed here with family for Ironman lake placid. It was clean, convenient, and well stocked. The yard and fire pit are wonderful and our kids loved the playground just up the street.
