The house was so dirty, we had to go to the store and buy cleaning supplies and clean the house ourselves the first few hours of our vacation, the hottest part of the day without A/C to boot. The lack of a proper response was particularly disappointing.

Thank you for your feedback, Marc. We're sincerely sorry the home was not properly prepared for your arrival and that our follow-up fell short as well. Our team contacted you the following morning and offered to reclean the home, but we recognize that by then you had already taken care of the cleaning yourselves. We should have continued to follow up to ensure your concerns were addressed. We've discussed this with both our Guest Experience and Operations managers to help prevent a similar situation in the future. We regret the disappointing start to your vacation and hope you'll allow us another opportunity to provide you with a better experience. Kind regards, BVR

Great location

Great location, we could walk to the store, beach and a few good restaurants. The property only supplied one roll of paper towels and 3 rolls of toilet paper, for two families which was hardly enough. Other than that we’d stay again.

Terrific facility and location

Property was wonderful and everything we hoped for with one exception: 1st floor bathroom shower seemed to have missed the cleaning entirely - strange because everything else was spotless.

July 4th week in Newport

Just wrapped up a great family (and friends) vacation to Newport. This property was absolutely perfect for us; the location was the BEST - so close to the beach and restaurants, shopping, pavilions, etc. The house was clean, organized, spacious and comfortable. Beach view property mgmt was very communicative and easy to work with. We’ll be back!

The back door was impossible to lock which worried us a bit. The repair guy could not come till the second day and never did get it fixed. Had to use window dowels to secure. The floors in the bunk beds room CREEK terribly so could hear from the other room, every time the person sleeping in that bed moved. Otherwise stay was great.

Great beach house location - steps to the beach!

Great location, close to the beach and shopping centers. The home had old school beach house vibes with retro decor. Some of the dishes were dirty and the walls needed a wipe down. But the location to the beach was worth it. Wish they would have provided more amenities that were included with the rental like better chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, etc...

We highly recommend this rental for your next vacation!

We loved our stay at 208 36th street! It was the perfect house for our family of five. Our two teenage boys slept in the double Queen bunks and there was plenty of room in the other guest bedroom for our two year old's large pack n play. We loved that it was a stand alone home with no one above or below us! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed as well. The beach was an easy five minute walk and the playground and basketball courts across the street were great as well! There were also plenty of restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. We highly recommend this rental for your next vacation!

Everything We Needed for a Relaxing Getaway

We loved our family’s stay at this sweet home in Newport Beach. The location provides walkable access to the beach, restaurants, a grocery store, etc. The home was appointed with everything we needed to feel comfortable and enough supplies to get us started (like coffee grounds, olive oil, S&P); the washer and dryer were especially appreciated after a coffee spill on our flight down. The beach chairs provided by the management company were a plus. This home is laid out in a way to give one bedroom downstairs more peace and quiet, while the 2 upstairs have great fresh air (but with that can be a little more noise; it is a closely populated coastal community). I would definitely stay here again. Thank you. My compliments to whoever decorated the main living room and the nook on the stairs; love it.

Clean, comfortable, very spacious

The house was so nice. Clean, comfortable, very spacious. The kitchen was a dream. So large and so much counter space. Sweet little outdoor seating:bbq area on the front of the house over looking a park. Loved the gas fireplace for a cozy feeling on those chilly Feb days although the heating system throughout the house worked great. We had a little problem with both the fireplace and the keyless entry and Beachview was incredibly responsive. Fixed both right away. Parking in the garage is a squeeze and I wouldn't rec any bigger than a compact suv or maybe one size up. Very nice stay.

staff is so helpful

I've rented from Beachview Realty twice now. Both times have been a great experience. Both rentals were clean and the check in process is easy, they send great information to make it simple to access the home. In addition, their staff is so helpful. We have called in a couple times with questions about rentals and they're patient and take their time to answer your questions. And when they need to send a follow up email, they're prompt in sending the additional details. Today after we checked in, we didn't know how to do something in the beach house. I called and spoke with Gemma and she was so sweet, helpful and happy to help. They're a great group to work with.

Great beach house with a couple minor flaws

This beach house is located in a great spot. It’s close to the beach and yet very quiet. Unfortunately when we arrived we noticed the dishes were a little dirty and we figured out the dishwasher detergent door was broken. One of the kitchen cabinet doors was close to falling off. The coffee table had some wear and tear. There’s no cleaning supplies so it’s hard to keep the place clean. Buy a bottle of white vinegar and you’re good to go. The management company was quick to respond but I wonder if the actual property manager had been to the house in a while. It’s a nice house in a good location that just needs someone to fix a few things.
