I loved my home because of the large yard and lots of trees! Lots of shaded parking. It has a very quiet one bedroom apartment in the lower level with parking right outside the apartment door. Large picture window looks out to the lovely treed yard.
It's about 700 SF with a good size kitchen/living/dining room with a large bedroom and bath with tub/shower combo. Dining area with round oak table & matching quaint chairs.The bedroom has a comfy queen size bed, dresser and luggage holder.Living room has a love seat and comfy recliner. Wifi is available as well as 2 wifi smart televisions.Free Netflix, Prime & local tv. I clean with Melaleuca non toxic cleaners. We use a Rainbow vacuum which is very good to control allergens and dust. No perfumes. No chlorox. Fabrics chairs &pillows sprayed with anti viral anti bacterial - natural non toxic products..

Nice Space

I loved the non toxic soaps and cleaners. There was an air filter, the space was tidy and there were condiments, water, ice packs in the fridge/freezer. Bed was comfortable. There were beach towels and lots of little extras that made our stay comfortable.

Quiet

Carolyn has a cute little place that is great for 1-2 people. She provided good information about the place, the door locks, where to park and local eateries. The area is in a general neighborhood, I felt safe and no one bothered me during my stay. The area is close to many conveniences and of course the lake.

I was in town for seven days and have stayed at several other locations in town I’ve the last three months. This was a cut above the rest. Comfortable and quiet with little touches that made it a nice retreat. Coming again in a month.

Very unhappy

Property is in a run-down area of Coeur d'Alene along with the property itself. We arrived after a long drive from Sacramento CA to find the property well below standards. The property is old with no secure parking ("just park in front of the window") on a gravel driveway. We contacted Carolyn the night arriving. I did not know at the time canceling was available to us as an option. But she didn't cancel either! Citing she could not rent property with such short notice. Making the property available would have at least shown it available and one never knows. We did not stay, not one night. I let Carolyn know we would not be staying asked to be charged for one night as a compromise. A refund was committed at one point then after I was asked to give a good review in return for a refund. What? I have yet to see any refund and would not recommend property.

CDA Retreat

We enjoyed our stay in CDA. This property and it's owner were a big part of it. Easy access, responsive and helpful service, newly upgraded features, A/C for those warm days worked great, all in a park like setting. Grateful for our stay...

Nice simple, small room

This room was everything I needed for myself on a business trip. Had enough kitchen items to allow cooking in the room, comfortable bed and sitting area. I will look at this place again next time I am in north Idaho.

I had a pleasant stay, the property was in a nice quiet neighborhood yet it wasn't really close to anything convenient. There was a gentleman that was doing some work on the grounds & cleaning up the yard; him and I would talk & he was a super cool dude, he even gave me a lift downtown one day...very friendly.

I love creating an atmosphere that I would enjoy if I were traveling! I love to meet people from all over the world- even though I rarely spend time with my guests as I feel their privacy is important. I'm fairly close to Coeur d'Alene lake and the quaint downtown and I wanted that. I'm readily available if renters have any needs or problems. I try to accommodate special needs if I'm asked. I'm a realtor and love owning and rejuvenating property to it's best. That's what I've done with my home and this apartment.

I love the big trees in this neighborhood and good size yards. I wanted to have rental property that I could also live in which I hadn't thought of vacation rentals at the time.
There are lots of home owners and rental properties mixed which I like the mix instead of all rentals.

My property has a park like setting with all of the trees! The interior is very cozy and comfortable from the quality queen bed, to the recliner, and love seat. You can watch tv in the living room or relax in bed and watch tv. It's set up for long term stay with a well equipped kitchen. Parking is very handy and off street. The central location is great! Close to shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, Cosco, the hospital, 2 miles to the lake and downtown, and it's very quiet if rest is important to you!
