The chalet is Bärgsicht 5 - 7 minutes below the village center, bus station and the gondola Grindelwald-First, 10 - 13 minutes from the Grindelwald Train Station.

The house is located on a quiet central location, surrounded by meadows, away from traffic and bustle with open views from the Eiger to the Wetterhorn the most beautiful mountains of the Bernese Oberland.

For guests is arriving by car an access to its own covered parking space next to the house.

In our chalet we live as hosts themselves .We are always there for the guests. The studio has a direct view to the mountain Wetterhorn. In which month you make here also holiday, the glacier village of Grindelwald has every season its charm. And no matter if you are more of a lovers extensive hiking and biking tours, active sports or just want to enjoy only the sun, mountains and fresh air, the Chalet Bärgsicht is ideal for the best weeks of the year.

This is the most beautiful place to stay! It is very comfortable and has everything you need for a few days in Grindelwald. Excellent cooking facilities, a good shower and really clean. The location is amazing, both in terms of getting transport links and for exploring the mountains, and in terms of the view as there are amazing mountains out of every window! We had the best week here and I highly recommend! Thank you, Anni!

Grindelwald Rustic Retreat

We loved our time in Grindelwald. The apartment was convenient to town and lifts for hiking. We spent a lot of our time in the porch area enjoying the lovely mountain views. Our hosts were a delight and provided information for things to do during our stay.

Marvelous!

We had a fantastic vacation in Zwitserland. The house was small and authentic. Everything we need was there. The place was quiet with a fantastic view on the mountains. The host was friendly and helpful. We recommand it.

Beautiful Gindelwald

A very cosy studio in a house downhill (short walk) from town amongst a number of similar properties. Unfortunately a new house under construction next door but was of no concern Annie was a very good host and studio was still good value for money.

Stunning view and apartment

We stayed here for a week and it was lovely. The location is very central and price is (more) affordable than what the market offers in Grindelwald. We talked with the host (am not aware of her name) and her two sons, Marcus and Bruno everyday. They were great conversationalists and offered local expertise on where to go and what to do. We very much enjoyed their company. The place is small but all you need for a week or two. The views are absolutely stunning - 100% would recommend to anyone going here!

The BEST view & place to stay in Grindelwald

My friend and I stayed here May 2024 as we were traveling across Europe and we had such an amazing time. The view from this property is hands down the BEST view from anywhere I have ever stayed in my entire life - it’s truly amazing. The apartment is so adorable, and has everything you need. The bathroom was great and super clean, and the location of this apartment is unbeatable. It is so close to downtown and Grindelwald First, and it’s so easy to walk everywhere you need. The hosts were so kind and understanding, even with our language barrier, and also picked us up from the train station. Couldn’t recommend this property enough :)

The host were very accomodating. They picked up from the train station on arrival and dropped us off at the train station on departure which was a great help. The views from the house was fabulous. We had some problems before departure and they helped us out. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly

Schönes Chalet mit netten Gastgebern

Vielen Dank an die wirklich freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeberfamilie Bhend! Das Chalet ist kompakt und vielleicht ein wenig rustikal, aber absolut sauber und bietet problemlos alles, was man benötigt. Der Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür ist äußerst praktisch. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist herrlich und die Lage gut. Kann alles in allem sehr empfohlen werden!

Grindelwald und Chalet Bärgsicht

Die Wahl für den Urlaub fiel auf das Chalet Bärgsicht. Die Gastgeber sind sehr sehr freundlich und empfangen einen in besonders warmer Atmosphäre. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr gut eingerichtet und bietet jedem ein wohlfühl Umfeld. Da ich selbst den Ort schon seit mehr als 50 Jahren kenne und bereits Jahre zuvor dort Urlaub ain verschiedenen Chalets gemacht hatte, war es umso schöner, das dies Chalet und die Gastgeber diesen Eindruck weiter in höchstem Maße bestätigt haben. Es ist wirklich zu empfehlen und ein echter Geheimtip in Grindelwald.

Wanderurlaub an einem der schönsten flecken Erde

Ein kleines sehr gepflegtes Chalet, das alles hat, was man benötigt. Es liegt sehr zentral und trotzdem in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Die Aussicht auf der Terrasse auf die umliegende Bergwelt ist atemberaubend. Wir durften eine Woche bei der Familie Bhend verbringen und können es nur jedem weiter Empfehlen. Die Besitzer waren sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und gaben klasse Unternehmungstipps egal zu welchem Wetter. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und waren bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal Gast im schönen Charlet Bärgsicht.

Für Wanderer ist Grindelwald u.Umgebung, besonders die Freundlichkeit der Schweizer zu empfehlen.

Excellent Studio Apartment in Grindelwald

I stayed at Chalet Bärgsicht for 7 nights while I hiked in the area surrounding Grindelwald. The location of the apartment is within easy walking distance of the train station, bus terminal, and major gondolas. The apartment was clean and well sized for one or two people. I cooked my own meals at the apartment every day and found the kitchen to have all of the essential cookware, dish-ware and utensils that I needed. Although not essential, I could have wished for a good chef's knife and a microwave oven to make meal preparation even easier. Anni was a very friendly and helpful host. Although her English is limited, this never presented a problem. I would certainly stay at Chalet Bärgsicht again if I returned to Grindelwald.

Quiet with beautiful views

The appartment has everything you need for a stay in Grindelwald: a terrace with morning sun, walking distance to the center of the village, transportation and hiking trails, and a stunning view on the Eiger. We didn't use the car during our stay, very relaxing. The owners are very kind and welcoming. A great place to stay!

Wunderschöner Urlaub in Grindelwald

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht auf die Berge. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und konnten uns viele Tipps geben. Das Studio war sauber und gepflegt. Die Lage ist ruhig und trotzdem sehr zentral. Wir würden es jedem weiterempfehlen.

Sommer 2016

Wir verbrachten im Sommer 2016 eine Woche im Chalet Bärgsicht im 1- Zimmer Studio. Das Chalet liegt in einer Seitengasse, sehr ruhig und mit herrlichen Blick auf Eiger und Wetterhorn. Trotzdem sehr Zentral gelegen und optimal als Ausgangspunkt für viele Wanderungen.(Das Auto kann stehenbleiben. Mann kann alles zu Fuß erreichen). Im Studio war alles was man benötigt vorhanden und es war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Die Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend, nett und höflich und hatten immer gute Tipps parat. Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Gemütliches Chalet zum Wohlfühlen

Wir haben uns in dem gemütlichen Chalet mit toller Bergsicht sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist angenehm ruhig und das Zentrum von Grindelwald gut zu erreichen. Das Studio war sehr sauber und die Ausstattung sehr gut. Es gibt eine schöne Terrasse, die man bei sonnigem Wetter nutzen kann und eine kleine Veranda für Regentage. Die freundlichen Gastgeber hatten viele wertvolle Informationen über Grindelwald. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wohnen in traditionellem Schweizer Domizil

Die Ausstattung des Studios und die Nutzungsmöglichkeiten auf dem Grundstück boten alle Annehmlichkeiten für eine gute Erholung. Die Tipps der Familie Bhend und das umfangreiche Infomaterial waren eine gute Grundlage für die Gestaltung erlebnisreicher Tage in Grindelwald. Ein großes Plus ist die hervorragende zentrale Lage als Ausgangspunkt für vielfältige Aktivitäten. Gern würden wir wieder einmal hierher zurückkehren und empfehlen auch anderen aktiven und naturverbundenen Urlaubern diese Adresse für ihren Aufenthalt.
