My friend and I stayed for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Steve is a great host and his home is beautiful. The location was perfect and we both loved having our own bedroom and bathroom.

Wow, what a beautiful home! It really felt like we were guests at a friends home rather than staying in a rental. The property is beatifully decorated and comfortably appointed, the owner is very accommodating and it's in a great location for walking the Savannnah historic district. Historic homes, museums, city squares, the river front, shopping, dining and night life are all easily walkable.

Or stay at the location was fabulous. Everything is immaculate. Very good location. Owner was superb in every step of the reservation to check out. Great location, beautiful townhome

We really enjoyed the stay! Walked everywhere, plenty of room for the three adults, plenty of towels, and dishes. The two parking spaces were great as our adult daughter drove down the next morning.

Convenient and walkable. Off street private parking makes it perfect!

.if I was to suggest any improvement it would be to provide dishwashing soap and perhaps 1 or 2 pods to run the dishwasher. Lovely property. Great location.

Wonderful Savannah Row House

Our stay in Savannah was nothing short of spectacular. The owner was so easy to work with and communication was always timely. This beautiful row house was clean, exactly like the pictures and in a safe neighborhood. My friends and I will most definitely come back.

Savannah Stay

We spent two nights in the 1871 Townhouse while passing through Savannah. We absolutely loved the house, it's amazing. The location is great for walking, and anytime you can find a free parking place in Savannah that's a huge bonus. Steven was excellent at communicating with us and information on Savannah in the house was very helpful. We could not have been happier with our experience.

Great Location

The house was just as advertised. It was very clean and cozy. I can’t stress enough the great location. We were able to walk everywhere. The designated parking in the back was a big plus. I would recommend 100%.

Great spot !

Loved this property! Comfortable and clean. Short walk to all the local sights, restaurants, etc. especially enjoyed the patio in the evenings. Beds very comfortable. Lovely kitchen. The only drawback was the one shower, but since it was just “us girls” it was very doable. Would love to go back!

Warm & Welcoming

Location, location, location. Wonderful, warm and comfortable with lots of charm. We loved our stay here and the communications with Steve was great. He was very quick with responding to any questions we had. The only thing we wished was different was to have 2 showers instead of having one shower and one tub.

Great property and location

Townhouse is in fantastic condition, circa 1833 I believe. It is located close enough to walk to City Center and River Street but far enough and not on a thoroughfare road (such as East Broad Street) so it's quiet enough to sleep. Several other properties that we looked at had the sleep/noise warning. This one worked out.

Fantastic property

We loved the location of this town home. It was easy to walk to everything in the hostoric district. The home itself is lovely and meticulously clean. There is loads of historic charm in this house, combined with just the right amount of modern convenience. The beds were comfortable and welcoming after a long day of exploring. Our host Steve was a great communicator and the check in and out was simple. We will be coming back on our next trip to Savannah. Thanks Steve!

I'm a retired businessman. Still use this townhouse off and on during the year and our second home is near Richmond Hill.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This 1871 townhouse gives you a sense of what it was like living in Savannah during the 1870's, Private Garden Courtyard, original woodwork, staircase, high ceilings, with modern bathrooms and kitchen. I have collected antiques most of my life and the townhouse is furnished with mostly antique furniture. The home has the original heart pine floors, pocket doors, four fireplaces, an antique deep cast iron tub, all to give you the feel of what it was like back in the day.
This home was my first home in Savannah and lived full time for several years before retirement. I live here off and on during the year, my other home is in Richmond Hill.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Parking is at a premium downtown; we have two private parking places on the property. We also have free parking in the front of the town house. The home is located between Habersham and Price Streets. The row houses were built in two sections both have different architectural features my home is in the oldest section near the center of the block with the only balcony in the front., The front of my home was in the Clint Eastwood's Movie "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" as the Row house with the blue painted front door next to mine "Lady Chablis" came out of during the movie and walked in front of my home. We have Major Movie Studio here in Savannah so don't be surprised to see Movies being shot downtown.
