Love this property

I love the casual, comfortable upper level duplex. We shared the space with another couple and had such a relaxing, enjoyable vacation. Amy Davis goes over and beyond to provide the best accommodation for her guests.

Great location, great view, comfortably appointed

The family had a great first visit to Amelia. The upstairs portion of the house is very nice inside and has a balcony with a great view of the ocean. Host was very helpful and we had a stress free stay.

A Great Getaway Spot

We had a wonderful stay at this adorable property. The place was spotless and everything we needed was provided by the owner. Great front porch with ocean view and comfortable seating. Even though it was across the street from the beach, the private path to the beach was a short easy walk. Highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful!

This was just what we needed for a relaxing week away! The property was the nicest we had stayed at by far, very clean and very well stocked for any cooking you may do. The host, Amy, was extremely responsive and gave us many recommendations of things to do and places to eat. Our favorite thing was the pool, by far. We spent all our days there and only walked down to the beach twice. Great location too. Just an overall great place! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place to stay

This property was great. Right across from the beach with a beautiful view. Great for young children. Amy was very accommodating lending us a high chair and playpen for our baby. She was very responsive and a delight. So glad we got to meet her and Blue. We will be staying here again.

Lovely small property with luxury accents.

Spouse, small dog and I had five night stay across the road from the beach. As no house in front of us / the porch, we could see the ocean! Lovely nice touches like throws, liquid soap and a candle.

Perfect for our little family!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location was perfect and we loved all of the things included with our stay (beach chairs, toys, puzzles, etc.). We also felt like this beach was perfect for our little family - not crowded and low tide makes the perfect tide pool on the beach for our toddler to sit and play. Amy was a wonderful and attentive host throughout our entire stay and we will definitely be staying again!

Cute and clean!!

This place did not disappoint! Very clean and beautifully decorated in a fun, beachy vibe. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Front porch was awesome for watching the waves. Beds were comfy and kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook a meal. I would stay here again.

Shrimp Festival trip

We love attending the annual Shrimp festival. We decided to stay the weekend and enjoy all the festivities. This property served us well and was very conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. Off of the beaten path just enough to be relaxing. Highly recommend and I’m sure we will stay again!

I grew up traveling to Fernandina Beach as a child and fell in love, so naturally it was the beach sweet spot that we always gravitated to for vacation.
We raised our children spending the summers playing in the afternoon tide pools, searching for shark teeth, walking down the beach to play putt putt, and picking out books at the BookLoft downtown to complete summer reading requirements. We have made so many special memories on Amelia Island and we hope that your family and friends will too!

Varför värden valde detta boende

Our dream came true to own a slice of heaven when we made our first Fernandina Beach purchase at 240/ 244 South Fletcher Avenue. This property at 551 South Fletcher Avenue is our 3rd property and it is very special. It is situated across the street from the beach but boasts beautiful views of the ocean from the upstairs deck. Get comfy in the cozy deck chair with a good book or settle in for a good nap!
Our newest feature for this property is a beautiful swimming pool! Two waterfalls are a lovely backdrop spilling over the stone ledger wall.

We started construction on a swimming pool in January. We discovered after some research that there are not many homes with swimming pools on the beach rental market. This lot provided ample room for the pool and plenty of space to gather with friends and family. We allow up to 4 guests (including children) at all times.
