The Best Cabin!

This cabin is plain on the outside but beautiful inside! It is pristine and well-stocked with dishes, cookware, towels, you name it! It has a huge washer and dryer which is convenient when you're traveling. It has 2 TVs. Its perfectly situated above the Smith.River which you can glimpse from the large windowes. The location of the cabin is perfect for exploring redwoods to the south, and haystacks, sand dunes, and lake country to the north. I had the best time, and my dog didnt want to leave! I would return in a second!

Smith River Comfort

This was my third stay and I love this cozy place to work remotely while i visit my daughter and grand babies. There are places to walk to the ocean and to enjoy incredible views with the privacy and safety that a single traveler really appreciates. LOVE THIS PLACE. I will be back.

Smith River retreat

It is a great location, loved the little patio, and loved the quiet. The house is super comfortable: big bedroom, kitchen has everything you need to cook or heat up leftovers, good space for watching TV or hanging out. I’m not a fan of Glade air fresheners, but once I put them outside it was fine

Perfect House with Great Location

Our stay at the River Dune was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the property. The decor created a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The location was perfect—nestled in a quiet neighborhood but still conveniently close to Redwoods and about 15 mins drive to Crescent Beach. The hosts were incredibly hospitable, providing thoughtful touches like a welcome basket with Apples and Cookies and clear instructions for everything in the house. One of the highlights was the view from the patio, where we enjoyed morning coffee while enjoying the serene surroundings. The amenities provided were top-notch, including fast Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy living area. Overall, our stay was perfect in every way. We highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. We will definitely return.

Cozy, Clean, and well stocked!!!

What a wonderful little gem in the last few miles of California. If we are ever in the area again we will return, for sure!!! Great location, loved walking down by the mouth of the river and watching the sea lions, great place to visit the redwoods but don’t miss the beach in Crescrnt city, it is pretty spectacular as well!! Thanks for making us feel like we were home, Cookies and fruit were a great extra touch!!!

Sea lions on the beach nearby.

You can hear the ocean from the porch. Go out drive, turn left, then take first left on Mouth of Smith River Road. There is beach access at end of road. There were over 65 sea lions on a sandbar out from the beach playing, fishing, and laying around. Great to watch!

Peaceful, Comfortable, Clean Haven

I loved this home in Del Norte. It is close enough to both Redwoods and the Oregon border to allow day trips into several scenic locations. The house is scrupulously clean and maintained; beds, furniture, and furnishings are sturdy and comfortable; and parking is right outside your door. Perks: somewhat of an ocean view with porch accommodations for viewing, full kitchen and dining area, use of washer and dryer, and ample area for dog walking in a quiet neighborhood. I would not hesitate to stay here again, and I appreciate the owners making this lovely property available!

Coast trip

This place is great for a couple or single looking for a clean, nice well updated rental with all you will need for your stay. It has everything you can think of for supplies. Dog friendly is a must for us so this was great as well. There is a nice ocean view out the back but you will have to drive a few miles for a beach access. Friendly hosts. Highly recommended.

Best equipped kitchen EVER!

This place may appear plain on the outside, but it is a gem inside. Everything you need to fix a gourmet meal and a nice quiet location to come back to after a day out exploring the redwoods. Plus a washer and dryer! Don't hesitate to book this rental.

Awesome

Such a beautiful place. Easy walk to Rivers end where we saw pelicans. seals and otters. Quail were even running around the yard. Even saw a fox one evening run across the yard. Quiet and very peaceful. Great place to relax. Never wanted to leave.
