To be completely hones with you, everything was great, But I did ask the main person in charge that I wanted extra towels and Blankets because it was in the pictures and we did not receve that.So half of our group had nothing to sleep with or shower with.

Our overall experience was wonderful! Our cabin was cozy and inviting and great location and access. Check-in was seamless and host was kind and attentive to my requests.

The location was perfect, the check-in smooth, I was really looking forward to my stay, but unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was far below expectation. Upon entering, I immediately noticed, hair on the floor, cigarette burn marks on the sheets, the sofa was sunken in and the light switches were extremely dirty. It was clear that the room had not been properly cleaned or inspected before my arrival.

Por dentro bien pero el aspecto por fuera es muy malo. Telarañas por todo, muy sucio, pesimo mantenimiento con manijas que se descuelgan al minimo contacto o bombillas rotas. La comunicacion es casi nula. Solo a traves de correo electronico. El dueño o encargado es inubicable. El primer dia no pudimos activar el tv y al segundo dia nos quedamos fuera de la cabina por casi tres horas pprque se cerró la puerta por dentro y el dueño/encargado nunca contestó nuestros correos electronicos. Tuvimos que llamar a Expedia y luego de muchos intentos al fin nos atendió. Estuvimos esperando casi tres horas afuera, de noche, de frio y con la ropa mojada y nuestras cosas adentro de la cabina. Con la incertidumbre. Estuvimos a punto de buscar un hotel para pasar la noche. Me pregunto cómo es posible que des semejante pesimo servicio sin que te importe? Definitivamente no recomendaria este lugar.

Bring ear plugs and bug spray

I hate giving negative reviews but this one is necessary.I booked this place well in advance then Socal started on fire and the town of big bear was shutdown, the roads were closed. I asked for a refund and was told it wasn't allowed because their policy covered "acts of god" or something. So I had to come up with a new trip to make use of this credit.The check in instructions were sent 4 hours after the check in time and the host was not reachable. Thankfully we were running behind and didn't have to hangout in the parking lot for hours.The pull out sofa bed had no bedding materials for the first night. The host dropped some off for the next night.The bathroom had 2 towels for showering, no hand towels and no bathmat, good luck not slipping and dying on that floor.The neighboring property had dogs that barked all night both nights, thankfully I packed ear plugs.The bathroom had a colony of ants, one ended up crawling up the couch and on my face during my sleep.There is a coffee maker and coffee but no filters, bring your own.There is no wifi information and the TV doesn't work without Wifi. The host eventually sent us the wifi info.The host was responsive during the stay and the neighborhood is great, all of big bear is awesome.

Really nice redone cabin, only complaints was couch was falling in due to being a sofa sleeper and tv being too high up on wall. Very close proximity to everything made it enjoyable. May need tonspray for ants as there were ants all over floor.

The listing was exactly as pictured in the photos. I have had to request my refundable deposit back from the property manager specifically which is slightly inconvenient, but other than that the stay was great

We tried to contact the owner of the property multiple times. We called Expedia support, and they transferred us to VRBO support. After, a 2 - 3 hour phone call, they tried to contact the owner and did not compensate us for our lost time as well as stay. Basically, they left us in the cold with no stay for the night. They offered a refund with a support ticket, but I did not receive a refund. I call back again after a good week, and I still have not received a refund. It is now February 11, 2024 since January 04, 2024. If you decide to stay here, maybe you'll have a good chance to receive information, or you could be like us left without a stay, not compensated for the night, and a pending refund.

There was no hot water the first two days which meant we could not shower at all. The oven was not working which meant we could not use it at all or cook anything. I want my money back.

I was on big bear every year and I always rent a cabin,This year I try on this one and first they charge $200 on deposit when is supposed be only $100,then inside the cabin everything is old and you can’t fix the temperature on the room,two weeks later and I still waiting for my other refund deposit.!I prefer other plataforma they give you back the deposit all the time

Inaccurate description and dismal host communication

I never leave negative reviews, but I am incredibly disappointed with the inaccurate description of this property and primarily the "communication" with the host. As for the inaccurate description, this property claims to sleep four people, has a photo with a full couch, and lists a queen-size pull-out sofa bed. In actuality, there was no couch with a queen-size pull-out sofa bed, but instead, a tiny foldable futon. When we arrived at the property, having indicated in our booking that three adults would be staying there, I searched the place for sheets, blankets, and pillows for this futon. There weren't any (and there were also only two towels), so I attempted to contact the host to provide these items. There was no phone number in the emails that I had been sent from the host about check-in (all clearly automated messages), so I emailed them. I then went onto Vrbo and messaged them there and called the number associated with the listing on Vrbo. I called the number several times with no answer and no way to leave a message. I never heard back from the host until another automated message came after our checkout time saying, "We hope you enjoyed your stay. Please leave us a 5-star review. If there were any issues during your stay, please let us know before you leave your review." Are you kidding me?! The host never responded to my attempts to contact them, and we were left without sheets, pillows, or blankets for the futon, which was not a queen-size pullout couch, on a 25-degree night. Inaccurate portrayals in your listing, no communication, and asking for a 5-star review after not responding to your patron's requests to receive items that should have been included are unacceptable. Additionally, the bathroom sink didn't drain and there was brown water coming out of the hot water faucet, but those things seem minor compared to the others.
