Grand Caribbean East är ett pittoreskt 3-våningsbyggnad som ligger i Crystal Beach, en av de mest önskade områden i Destin. Det finns också en queen-size bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet. Denna enhet har 2 badrum, med badkar och dusch. För din bekvämlighet finns det också en full storlek tvättmaskin / torktumlare. Everything you need!

My husband and I decided at the last minute to getaway from the winter weather. This place was perfectly located across from the gorgeous beach. Close to everything you could need. Would go back again!

Fabulous weekend

This condo is fabulous. So clean, well appointed, beautifully decorated - 2 king beds/2 baths. Perfect for two couples and bunk beds if there are children also. Nice dishes and cookware - I will definitely save as a favorite.

Michael was super responsive and helpful. Good location as the area is less commercial with nice wide sidewalks with anything you want within a short drive. Couple of great restaurants within walking distance. Easy access to the beach. Keep in mind, no elevator so you need to be able to take stairs to the third floor. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful & Comfy

Great Location! Condo has all the small amenities that make vacationing a little less stressful ( few days worth of toiletries, 1 load worth of detergent & softener sheets, make-up mirror, beach gear ) . Condo was immaculate & decor was super cool. The building itself is a bit dated. There is no elevator, so taking luggage up 3 flights was a bit difficult, but doable. Michael gave information early and was very accessible, if needed.

Perfect!

The condo was great for a family getaway! The two younger boys loved the bunk beds, there were plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and cooking utensils. It’s a 2 minute walk to the beach. Seriously, a perfect place to stay. Any correspondence with the owner was answered quickly. We will definitely return!

Couldn’t ask for better!! Amazing!

This property is FANTASTIC!! The pictures don’t do it justice! It’s a huge condo! Each bedroom is enormous with great decor, comfortable bedding! Water pressure was fantastic! Washer and dryer was super convenient! Living room, dining room, and kitchen were also big, plus they were stocked with everything we need (including salt and pepper which is a big deal!) the balcony is to die for! The openness off the living room really lightens up the place! The balcony has amazing views and plenty of seating. The biggest bonus is the beach access right across the street. Closer than you would think! Best condo we’ve stayed in and we’ve been coming to Destin for 10 years!

Can't predict the weather

The location is great! Everything was great.....except the weather. We enjoyed one nice day before record lows set in. We ended up going south to Fort Lauderdale, but no fault of the host.

Cleanliness standards were very low

The location of the property is great. I’ve stayed at the unit next door many times, but it was unavailable this time. Expected that this place would be a very similar experience. Unfortunately, I did not. I’ll say this Michael was very responsive to communication and seems like a nice person overall. But, I had to file a chargeback with my credit card company for the first time due to this stay. After providing pictures that showed the lack of cleanliness of the unit I instantly received a full refund back for my stay. That should tell you everything you need to know about staying here. We had to spend our vacation time cleaning it to bring it to a decent standard. Michael was very communicative throughout the process but I was disappointed in his response which was basically that he and his wife only visit once a year to do “refreshes” so we’d have kind of need to suck it up because it’s a rental unit. But once I sent him pictures, his tune changed. Then the story became about him just hiring a new housekeeper, and her still needing areas of improvement. This is fine, but you should be figuring out those areas of improvement before renters get into the home not once they have paid to be there (a basic checklist might help). He also stated that she wasn't “deep cleaning” until later that month. My immediate thought we are in a post-Covid world! Every cleaning should be a deep cleaning. So, lots of issues with cleanliness which should always be a be a top priority.

Family friendly accommodation

Spacious bedrooms with fun bunks for kids in hallway. Beautiful 3rd floor view of the beach from inside at the table or sitting outside on the balcony. Enjoyed the short walk to the beach or pool area.

Ohhh the ocean view

Ohh the ocean view!!! Spent oodles of serene time on the balcony. Full view of sunrise and sunset. No need for an APP you can hear the ocean waves lull you to sleep. Kudos to the owner. He was super responsive and invested in accommodating any request. Unit layout great, primary bedroom away from living/dining. It is inviting and clean. Kitchen is well equipped. In unit washer and dryer a huge plus. Beds sooo comfortablt. Building in very clean. Pool is immaculate. Enjoy!!

Very Enjoyable

This was our first time renting a condo. We were a bit apprehensive not knowing what to expect. But everything went well. The property was extremely nice and well kept. We enjoyed everything so much that we would definitely consider staying at the same place again.

Wonderful week

We booked this condo for a week long trip. The neighborhood it was in was quiet and adorable. The closeness to the beach was INCREDIBLE! Michael was great to work with as well.

Crystal Beach fun

We all loved the location of the property, just a short walk to the beach. Everything in the unit functioned but the unit was in need of a deep cleaning and painting. Mold in the bath rooms, wood work and base boards and vanities all scuffed and dinged up, kitchen cabinets must be original from many years ago, functional. No wow factor when entering the unit. Also, we didn't realize there wasn't an elevator, so we carried everything up three flights of stairs and made a lot of trips up and down the stairs during our stay. The pool was nice as was the hot tub.

Great Location!

The unit was in a great location. The walk across the street to the beach was very convenient and easy to access. The pool was perfect too. My only complaint is that the unit is on the third floor and there are no elevators. Lots of stuff to walk up three flights of stairs. Overall we would definitely stay again. Great unit.

Love the location…

We’ve stay in this complex before, this unit was great, could use some new shower curtains, moldy! The location you can’t beat!! Only thing that that was different from last time was the beach policies! Didn’t know there we be in tent jail! 40ft is all you had for the public with tents and canopies! It got a little crowded! You can go outside the cones if you have no tent or canopy, little hot for that! But any ways, the banana boat was super close!

Great time

Condo was great. Worked perfectly for our family and had everything we needed. It was right across the street from the ocean, we enjoyed be the pool and the grill the condo had. Communication with the owner was great. He provided all the check in info a few days prior to arrival. He was even willing to answer questions unrelated to staying at the condo. We definitely had a good time and I would definitely stay here again.

Spring Break 2022

This property was nice because it was right across the street from the ocean. We could see dolphins in the morning from our balcony. We had an issue with the toilet leaking and the host was easy to contact and got a plumber out within a couple of days. The only downside is that we flew into Destin and didn’t have anything for the beach so we had to buy all of that stuff. It would have been nice to have a couple of beach chairs available for us to use.
