Overall, we loved the house and the location and would totally stay here again but would ask the owners to change/update a few things:1. The golf cart isn’t great and we suggest it needs a serious tune-up and some maintenance work. 2. Two of the toilets flush and fill back up very slowly and we got worried a couple of times. 3. The amount of emails we received leading up to our vacation was unmanageable. I haven’t counted but if I had to guess I’d say there were 50 emails. All that being said, we loved the proximity to everything and had a great time!

Thank you so much for your feedback! We’re thrilled to hear you loved the home, its location, and had a wonderful vacation! We appreciate you bringing the golf cart and toilets to our attention. We will have our team look into both items to ensure they are addressed. We also apologize if the emails leading up to your stay felt excessive. After reviewing our system, we confirmed that a total of 8 emails were sent. These were automated reminders because the required pre-arrival information had not yet been completed. Our system sends these reminders to ensure everything is finalized before check-in and to prevent any delays in accessing the home. We truly appreciate your feedback and would love to welcome you back to Southern Holiday Homes in the future!

Wonderful family getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. There was plenty of space for eight adults and two small children and the location was perfect. We absolutely loved having the amenity passes to Watercolor and being able to use the golf cart for easy transportation. Overall it was an amazing trip and we would absolutely stay here again without hesitation!

Great location. Communication with southern homes was flawless. Golf cart was a fun addition; made dining and shopping easier. Teenagers had a blast circling beach club and pools.

It’s a beautiful house that was clean. Although we had no hot water the last day, a flat tire on the golf cart, and loud construction noise right next-door making it very hard to enjoy any outdoor patios or decks!

Thank you for your review and for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the home beautiful and clean. We appreciate you letting us know about the hot water, golf cart flat tire, and construction noise. As soon as we were made aware, the hot water was fixed immediately, and the golf cart tire—specially sourced—was replaced promptly. We also offered a late checkout to help accommodate your stay. We’re glad everything was resolved quickly and that your stay was able to continue smoothly. We would be more than happy to offer a discount on a future stay and hope to welcome you back for another enjoyable visit.

Vacation

Phenominal house and location. It does not come with bicycles, so you will need to rent them if you go. I think the original listing said it had bicycles. This house was absolutely perfect and so nice. We will be staying again!

House was in a great location! Could use some more cleaning as there was quite a few bugs & some shower issues. Golf cart is not the best. Communication with host company was not great either - as they were not very kind.. but you can’t beat the location & the price was good.
