Casita Rustica was meticulously designed to give guests a private and relaxing retreat so enjoyable you may have a hard time getting out to enjoy the city. Our location is close to 163 and major tourist attractions are a mere 10 min away. Including the world famous San Diego zoo, seaworld, beaches. Waterfront, and the Gaslamp district. The Casita is equipped with modern amenities to improve your experience such as dimming lights, keyless entry, A/C , heat and built in-ceiling speakers for relaxing music or for getting into the mood for a night out on the town while getting ready. Inside the casita you will also find a full kitchen with all the tools to keep you cooking great ingredients that make great food. Outside the Casita you will find a patio with a lounge area great for reading relaxing in the sun or just a place to grab some fresh air. Location of property is within easy reach of all areas we visited while in the San Diego area. The owners were on site and communication was perfect. Photos were accurate, guest house was clean and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

A Relaxing Stay

A relaxing place to stay at. Everything you need in this Casita, really quite neighborhood with stores nearby to purchase anything you need. Definitely would book here again for my next SD visit.

California Beach trip

This was our annual Mission Beach trip and our first time using Vrbo, so we were not sure what to expect. We usually stay at Hotel Circle, but wanted to try something different. We enjoyed our experience and it exceeded our expectations! It is beautiful, clean and we loved it! The property is a little house behind the homeowner’s and is beautiful and was absolutely perfect for us! There was open communication at all times and if we had any questions, they were answered right away. It’s about 20 minutes from Mission Beach and Old Town San Diego, another of our favorite stops! We highly recommend staying here and want to thank Javier and family for making it special!

This property was just as descibed! And even better in person! Super cute, clean, flulffy towels and a comfy bed! It's a great location that is super convenient to all the sights San Diego has to offer. I'd definitely stay here again

Cute little casita!

The casita was a perfect place for myself and my boyfriend to stay for a long weekend. It was perfectly clean and in a quiet neighborhood. The host was so sweet and left treats for us as it was my boyfriend’s birthday. Would stay here again!

Clean and comfortable

The "casita rustica" provided an affordable, comfortable, and private place for us to stay while in town visiting family. The property is in a typical older SD neighborhood where parking can be an issue; however, we managed to find spots close to the casita. We were pleased with the casita's clean and rustic decor and renovated style.

Didn’t want to leave

We absolutely loved our stay here! The communication with Javier was always quick and clear. I asked if he could accommodate an early check in time for us and he went above and beyond for our request. The space was clean and appears to have been recently remodeled. It was a very quiet area. The bed slept GREAT! We will definitely stay there again when we come back to the San Diego area.

Cute & Quiet

Well it was my 50th Birthday and wanted to get back to San Diego & go down to TJ. I enjoyed my stay. I’ve been here for work many times and I knew I wanted to live here. This trip let me see a lot of neighborhoods that would be nice to settle in from Chicago. I think I could eat Pho,Thai and street tacos everyday. Found some nice really nice things down in TJ. They weather was beauty. This is a cute little house and it was very comfortable and quiet.

Cozy convenience

Nice cozy modern apartment with kitchen/living room, separate bedroom and bath. Lacking in function tho, could use a bedside lamp and somewhere to put your luggage. No space for toiletries in the bathroom or hangers for wet towels. The outside fireplace area was nice at night but we had to buy a lint brush as the cushions were full of dog hair. Very convenient and safe location for us

Beautiful, cozy casita

We enjoyed our stay here & everything was as pictured. The space was accommodating for our family of 3. The bed was very comfortable & soft. Having extra towels was a plus. One drawback was the cleanliness of the floors, they really could have used a quick mop between stays. We had to wear socks or shoes, otherwise our feet were black. Neighborhood is a mix of both older and remodeled homes, but we never felt unsafe. We appreciated the owner being accommodating with parking.

This property was everything we thought it would be and more! The bed is so comfortable and some of the best sleep I have had in a long time. The neighborhood is close to everything. The yard has beautiful fruit trees and outdoor seating. I would recommend this casita to anybody.

Stay was great. The hostess was very nice and friendly. We felt welcomed and then feel like strangers. We even had breakfast made for us one morning. The casita was clean, modern, and practical. Location is 10 minutes from downtown and from any other entertainment venue. Would definitely stay again

Casita Rustica

Casita Rústica is a quaint and charming place to stay. It is 10-15 minutes to Downtown San Diego and close to the beaches. The place is very modern and newly decorated. The hosts are amazing and extremely friendly making us feel right at home. Our visit was over a week and loved it so much we asked if there was any availability for our next visit.

Amazing stay and such kind hosts!

This is such a cute little backyard unit. It was a very easy check in and when we met the hosts they were so kind and welcoming! It is also located in a great location, close to USD, food and the beach. You'll love it!
