Perfect stay for a couple, or single traveler. Private entrance and private front yard. Fully equipped, very comfortable, outside succulent garden with table and chairs on a quiet street. Laundry room. Centrally located! Our place is very close to the I-5 and I-52 entrances. 8 minutes to La Jolla, 10 minutes to Pacific Beach, 12 minutes to USD, 15 minutes to downtown (ZOO), 15 minutes to Torrey Pines state park. Also 12 minutes away from “Convoy Area” Asian district with many great restaurants.

Great stay! Easy to find parking in front the home as well as accessible to highways, grocery store’s and other necessities. Had all the amenities I needed for my 8 day stay. Plenty of privacy and supplies. Also having an in unit laundry was helpful as well.

Perfect little place for our short stay in San Diego. I was bringing my daughter to UCSD and wanted to be close just in case she needed anything, and it's only a short drive to the school. Close to the beach, and close to shopping (mall), and grocery. Home was clean and would definitely stay again!

Gem in San Diego

We are from Arizona, and to escape the June heat, we rented this beautiful and functional one-bedroom, one-bath home with a full kitchen for 12 days. The private entrance suite is beautifully maintained, featuring an upgraded kitchen and bathroom. A few days before our trip, Santiago sent us simple instructions, and Gracy greeted us upon arrival. Parking was available on the street directly in front of the suite. The neighborhood was very quiet, with friendly people walking their dogs in the evenings. We brought our e-bikes and were initially concerned about security, but Gracy eased our anxiety. When we weren’t riding, we felt comfortable leaving our bikes locked on the front patio of the suite. The patio itself is eye-catching and secluded, surrounded by trees and lush foliage. It was lovely sitting outside in the evenings with a glass of wine, enjoying the cooler weather. The homeowners were quick to answer any questions and were very helpful. The home is perfectly located near the I-5 and I-805 off Highway 52, making everything in San Diego within a 30-minute drive. To sum up our stay: We’ve used VRBO for only one other property—a place on Long Island, NY, where we’ve stayed for many years. However, when you find a great place in a perfect location with wonderful hosts, you know you’ve struck gold. We will definitely stay here again during our hot Arizona summers.

Beautiful, clean, quaint

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in La Jolla. It was beautifully decorated, everything was new and extremely clean, and it had all the charm to make it enjoyable and cozy. The bed was very comfortable as well. Great place to stay!

Great place. Clean everything well maintained and we had everything we needed for stay. Lots storage for clothes and other items. Quiet neighborhood and we felt safe all hours of day. Close to beach areas and all our needs while we were there. Hosts easy to get ahold of when needed. Would book there again.

Just what I needed!

This spot was perfect for my week long business trip to UCSD. Only minutes away from my work location and in a very safe, quiet neighborhood. The house is just the right size for one person or a couple. Very clean, well appointed, and everything worked perfectly.

Near UCSD

This place was tremendous. Extremely clean the place was as advertised bathroom and kitchen updated and location in a good spot only a 15-20 minute drive to downtown San Diego and parking was not a problem. Midwest comfortable, and my wife appreciated their air conditioner in the bedroom.

Our House in San Diego is super central in Bay Ho. You are 10 minutes away from some of the main attractions in town. La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Downtown (ZOO), Sea World, Torrey Pines, USD are just a few of the places near by. It's a very practical spot for travelers and has a relaxed, family vibe.
