Denna charmiga strandstuga byggdes om för sex år sedan. Gå in i frontporten och du är på däck med utsikt över havet. Inbyggda bänkar ger gott om sittplatser för uteservering eller bara avkoppling. En vackert anlagd trädgård är inhägnad för barns säkerhet.

Marknivån i detta hem har ett stort rum med katedraltak, ett vackert nytt kök med skafferi och en master-svit med ett underbart badrum med en stor dusch med glasplattor.

På övervåningen är en privat master-svit med havsutsikt och ett badrum med badkar / dusch-kombination.

Källaren är perfekt för en svit för barn eller tonåringar. Den har en mjuk, neutral matta. Det finns en våningssäng och en dubbel futon för att sova. En stor TV och ett wii-spel finns. Det finns ett tredje badrum med dusch från detta rum. En tvättmaskin och torktumlare finns också nere.

Beskrivningen säger att hemmet sover 8 men det passar bäst för 4 vuxna och upp till 4 barn. Barnssviten ligger på lägre nivå och har våningssängar och en dubbel futon. De två master sviterna

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our visit. The bedrooms and amenities were all as described and we were able to sleep comfortably. We did find instances of things not being thoroughly cleaned. For example, when we lifted couch cushons off the couch, there were crumbs underneath, the kitchen table was a little sticky, and the floor in the downstairs bathroom was also a little sticky. Still, overall our trip was quite enjoyable. Thank you!

Santa Cruz vacation

This house is ideally located near a beach in Santa Cruz. We enjoyed watching the waves role in from the upstairs bedroom. Seeing the lights across the bay in Monterey at night was awesome. The hosts were very kind and very responsive to our questions. We've stayed in other houses in Santa Cruz, and this is by far the best.

We Loved This Home!

We felt right at home the moment we went inside. The floor plan is perfect for our family, with a nice bedroom and bathroom on every floor so everyone has some privacy and can enjoy their own version of vacation time. The home is perfectly decorated in our idea of a beach home, and the views of the water are wonderful! We had everything we needed to celebrate Thanksgiving and even cooked everything here! The location is perfect for what we like to do and is within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and all sorts of fun destinations. It's quiet and we felt safe here. The owners are exceptionally warm and wonderful! They communicated with us perfectly and the made us feel very comfortable in easily accessing the property. This is now one of our very favorite vacations spots and we look forward to coming back often to continue making happy memories!

Happ House

I rented this property for my adult grandchildren and their family. They were very happy with the house. One of the adult beach chairs was not in good condition.

Lovely beach house

This house is clean, kept up, and well stocked. You can walk to the beach and hear the waves from the property. Bedrooms are on separate floors affording nice privacy. There are restaurants and a coffee shop within walking distance. The neighborhood is busy during the day being so close to the beach but is very quiet through the night. Excellent place to stay - we'll be back.

Lovely beach cottage

We have stayed here before and were so happy that it was available to stay there again. The house is great and so lovely. Love to sit on the porch. The host is very responsive. All in all, another great stay! We look forward to staying here again next year!

Beachside Oasis

This house is one block from the beach, allowing multiple trips per day to the water. Boardwalk and downtown are easy access minutes away. This house is perfect for couples or families. It feels like a home. Clean, well appointed with everything you need, and a great, happy vibe!

Beach House Gem

This was our 5th year staying here, and we can’t wait to come back next year! The house has everything you need and more. The location is unbeatable, with a short walk to the beach, restaurants, harbor etc. This beach house was perfect for our family ocean getaway 😊

Location! Location! Location!

For the past 8 years we have rented this wonderful beach house at Twin Lakes. Perfect location in the harbor within walking distance to restaurants and Twin Lakes beach with a little longer walk to Seabright beach. If you have kids or grandkids, they will be thrilled with the space downstairs. Our grandkids referred to it as their apartment, complete with bathroom and huge TV. We especially love the deck with built in bench. It’s a wonderful spot to sit in the morning with a cup of coffee and watch the waves breaking on the beach or late afternoon with a glass of wine watching the sailboat regatta. Our grandkids are already planning next year’s trip!

Ocean Retreat

Marie’s place was perfect. Clean and well stocked with all our needs. Comfortable home with plenty of space. The beach was literally a 2 minute walk and the views of the ocean are amazing. Loved, loved our stay.

Absolutely Amazing!!

I just wanted to say that the property and the host are absolutely amazing!!! They helped make my daughter's birthday one of the best she has ever had! The property is beautiful and the proximity to everything is perfect! The host is so nice and quickly respond to any inquiries you may have. Love this place and would definitely go back!

Perfect beach house

We had a wonderful 3 day weekend celebrating my birthday and Mother’s Day. The house was exactly how it was described online. The location was absolutely perfect, just a 2 minute walk to the beach with views from the front deck. The house was fully stocked with everything you’d need. There were several restaurants in walking distance and a great coffee place too. I walked my dog at the beach every morning and even did yoga on the beach. There were two parking spots which is always a bonus in a beach community. We loved the house and can’t wait to stay here again. Thank you Marie.

Beach house near Twin Lakes State Beach

Stayed here during UCSC spring break and it was very convenient. Quick drives to campus, boardwalk, Capitola, downtown. One and a half blocks to beach. Beach break was pretty good for bodyboarding. Marina and restaurants were walkable. Place to rent kayaks nearby. The house had plenty of beach stuff too. WIFI good, no complaints from kids. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home if we wanted. Beds were super comfortable. Overall a nice place to stay in the area.

So much fun

Always have an amazing time at this beach cottage. House is well equipped with everything you'll need for some quality time with your family. Restaurants nearby, steps from a pet friendly beach, and plenty of great biking trails right outside your door. Owner is a pleasure to work with. A true gem in Santa Cruz.

Thanksgiving Stay

Took a long weekend with friends over Thanksgiving and this was the perfect house for it. Beautiful views of the beach just from the porch but incredibly close so we could stroll down to the beach to walk the dogs and watch the sunset. If you enjoy walking, the house is actually within walking distance of a lot of stuff!

We love our beach house and are excited about sharing it with others. We hope they enjoy it as much as we have. We have been married for over 50 yrs. and have 3 married children and 7 grandchildren. Rick has been in the construction business for most of his life and I recently retired as real estate agent for Alain Pinel Realtors in Saratoga. We live in Los Gatos, a short trip over the hill from Santa Cruz.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We bought this home many years ago as a rental for college students. We always hoped we would be able to rebuild it for ourselves in the future. It was a great dream come true when we completed the remodel.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We love that we can walk everywhere from this home. The popular Twin Lakes beach is just a short block away. Bon fires light up the beach in the evening, sail boat races can be viewed from our deck, and lively beach volley ball games are a common occurrence. Don't miss the ukelele concert on Saturday mornings in front of the Java Junction. There are excellent restaurants within walking distance. We especially enjoy the Crows Nest upstairs on Weds. night when the sail boat races are taking place. Johnnie's Harborside, the Java Junction, El Palomar, and Lago di Coma are also favorites of ours. Deke's market on 7th Ave. is a great place for sandwiches and various grocery sundries. There are public tennis courts and a great kids park a few minutes away on 7th Ave. We also enjoy walking and riding bikes on the harbor road where the sea otters, seals, and pelicans are always entertaining. The Santa Cruz Beach Board Walk is a 5-minute drive away with the famous wooden roller coaster and many other thrilling rides for all ages. A 18-hole minature golf course at the boardwalk is also a good way to spend an afternoon. Downtown Santa Cruz and Capitola nearby offer unique shopping opportunities, movie theaters, and other excellent restaurants.
