Fantastic property and vacation. We planned each day around being home for sunset in the pool! Secluded, yet so close to restaurants and beaches. Large, clean, well decorated rooms with balconies were fantastic. Outdoor showers were a delight! Quick responses from host. Would stay here again when we return to St. John. Not a warning, just a tip for future travelers - the kitchen is outdoors (as seen in pics). Stop at property first before grocery shopping to assess your skills/interests in cooking there. It was great for us but we definitely chose foods differently after seeing kitchen set up.

We had everything we needed to cook any meal. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We really loved the outdoor showers! Parking was a non-issue. The pool and view were amazing! Honestly, the perfect space and location for two couples.

Highly recommend this property! The views were incredible, the rooms were in great condition, the pool and outdoor area were even better than advertised. The communication was always quick and very helpful and the check in and check out processes were seamless. We will 100% be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this villa. The ocean view is absolutely beautiful, especially from the pool area. The villa was very clean, comfortable. It needs some updates but the view was The location is also very convenient — close to Starfish Market for groceries and on the same plaza you can enjoy the best coffee at Giovanni’s. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the island. We would happily stay here again!

Amazing view with sunsets! Private pool overlooking the water was a great way to relax. Rooms were very comfortable with private balconies. Close to Cruz Bay. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our week stay. The property was clean and Chris was amazing! He took really good care of us and stayed in contact with me throughout the week. Despite the island losing power, we made the best of our time there. The two separated rooms were perfect our family. The only suggestion that I have is that you replace the patio cushions as they are pretty worn out and icky. Thank you!

The views are possibly the best on the island!! Sitting up high overlooking St. Thomas, little saint James and basically endless views. You have the opportunity to watch sunsets from the pool. Truly incredible!! The showers are open sky. The outdoor kitchen met all our needs. In all our travels, the views here might be the best. EZ and private location to start your journey touring the island’s beautiful beaches and great restaurants. (Definitely need a rental car)

The location was perfect! We could sit on our balcony and drink our coffee each morning and watch the sunset poolside each afternoon. We caught fish one day and grilled dinner several evenings. The bedrooms were spacious and well decorated and so were the bathrooms, but the rock outdoor showers connected to the restrooms were my absolute favorite! This vacation in St. John has surpassed our favorite Costa Rican vacay.

Chocolate hole villa

Clean and quiet inside. Hosts were accommodating and friendly. Amazing sunsets every evening and close enough to everything by car.

They made no requests or expressed any needs to me throughout the stay which is sort of unusual. Everything that was available to them was stated on the website although it appears they might not have read all the comments on the VRBO listing. Not sure why these guests gave me only 4 stars.... I was capable of giving them much more information than they requested. I am disappointed about their review.

We had a wonderful week! The property was exactly as described. Rooms were clean and the view is absolutely stunning. Loved the outdoor showers! Pool was great, plenty of seating, kitchen stocked. Beach towels and cooler so handy. Easy parking. Totally private & peaceful. The power (on the whole island) went out 5 times that week and there is no generator at this property. Didn't bother us too much but should be noted. As to other reviews, there was some peeling paint/minor repairs that could be done but they didn't affect us at all. There was both a regular coffee maker & a Keurig. I would recommend this rental to anyone with 2 couples or a family with teens. Again: gorgeous view!

Fabulous accommodation and fantastic location!

Our family of 2 adults & 11yo had a fabulous week at the house. The location is perfect for both beaches and coral bay. Sunsets from the pool don’t get much better than this! We will definitely come back!

Most stunning views!

This property was absolutely amazing. Accurate description, easy check in, great space overall. The outdoor showers were so unique and cool, the pool was as amazing as I’d hoped and the views were hard to beat. Units were well-equipped and in good order. Chris was a great on site host. Would definitely stay here again if the occasion arises!
