Great place to stay! We really enjoyed the comfortable, open and large space of the unit. The views are fantastic, and the space had very easy access from the parking as well as to the beach. We definitely plan to stay at this space again!

We had a wonderful stay! The house has convenient beach access, which made it so easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted. We especially enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets by the beach. The location is also fantastic—just a short distance from Carlsbad Village with plenty of restaurants, shops, and things to do. A great spot for a relaxing beach getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

It is very large and spacious. The layout is excellent. It never felt as if you didnt have any breathing room. All you hear are the waves. All day. Loved every second of it. Have stayed here before and I plan to come back. Prompt attention from the owner/management regarding the heater. Prompt and professional attention. We thank you for trusting your home to us for a relaxing time!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. This is the perfect little getaway for two! You have your own parking spot and a perfect view of the ocean. The private patio and the bedroom view were priceless! We just love the little oasis and the backyard was wonderfully packed with all kinds of chairs and loungers. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook, and the property was very clean with lots of towel towels and extra toilet paper!My only suggestion for next time is stronger Wi-Fi. However, listening to the ocean is priceless.

I am anxious to rebook ... my husband had a medical emergency/hospitalization so the owner allowed me to let my friend enjoy the property. She loved it - I can't wait to try again!

The condo was perfect! Ocean views from every window, which we left open even at night to hear the surf. The condo was nice & decorated like a beach cottage. It's exactly like the pictures. We had everything we needed. We would love to go back. Perfect!

Great location, perfect accommodation for a couple. Easy walking to restaurants and the Coaster. For groceries you'd need to drive. Big plus is the beach is right out the door.

view & sounds were great. Kitchen was good. I like to have a regular toaster. under the sink was wet and damp. could not get hot water in the kitchen or the bathroom sink. the shower yes but the connection of the pipe to the personal shower leaked and was squirting to the sealing.Bed was great.My family have stayed at the beach front properties on ocean blvd for 27 yrs Thanks! Needs a table and chairs on the balcony. The couch is too low and the railing blocks the view

Great Place!

This was a great place to stay, pics are accurate. I agree with the other postings that the Unit C isn't obvious when you 1st arrive. Walking distance to Carlsbad Village, which is already a great place to tour and be at the beach. Definitely recommend.

This was EXCALLY what we were looking for! A house right on the beach. Just like the photos you walk right out your back gate and are on the beach. All day and night you just hear the waves crashing, it was perfect. The unit was actually bigger than expected. Morning coffee and wine nights on our balcony were amazing.

Truly on the beach.

Direct access to the beach. Great porch to enjoy early morning and late night lounging while enjoying the ocean. Everything we needed to get started on our stay was provided. Comfortable and clean.

It's a great location though there is not much beach area to sit in front of the home. It may have been a higher than normal tide. The home needs some TLC. Lots of aging inside and out. Please fix the blinds in the main room, it's a great view but you can't raise the blinds to enjoy it!

Everything about this place is exactly as listed. When we arrived someone was parked in our assigned spot, so we called them. They immediately answered and got it taken care off. It is a very open floor plan with a picture perfect view of the ocean. Since it is down at towards the end of Ocean Street there were very few people. The walk to the center of town only takes 5 minutes or so, and you have access some of the best parts of the beach for daily searches for sea shells. The place has a lot of space which I believe they could have used to place some extra beds if they wanted. We have been coming to Carlsbad every year for a long time, and this is our new favorite place to stay.

Great spot but.....

Place was in an outstanding spot, right on beach, waves crashing, great location. Clean and spacious. Good parking. The problem we experienced is the noise. Paper thin walls all around, including ceiling, so you heard everything your neighbors were up to. That is the only negative I would comment on. If you don't mind some background noise, till about 10pm, the location again is awesome!

Very loud!

I would ABSOLUTELY never return to this property! This is an old building with paper thin walls and ceilings. The 615 am wakeup incessant running and jumping on the furniture from the kids upstairs was exacerbated by the loud music by the room next to us at 130am. 4 hours of nightly sleep for the first three days. Management tried their best to get folks to be courteous, and respect the reasonable 10 pm to 10 am quiet hours...but to no avail

We are so sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. We do have a quiet hours policy and a zero-tolerance policy for parties/excessive noise at our homes, however, as this unit is located on a shared property where others may be enjoying their vacations, the noise may carry from time-to-time. This has not posed a problem previously, but we will continue to remain available to all of our guests should an issue ever arise.

Beautiful View...But

The house number was difficult to find. Stair accesses slacked handrails and lighting, and were dangerous. Unit identification was missing. Windows needed cleaning. Blinds had bent and broken slats and could not be raised so the view could be appreciated. The heater was badly rusted. Bathroom tub lacked non skid surface/mat and safety supports. There was no handbook on operation of any equipment/TV, local convenience and emergency services.
