Denna charmiga 1920s bungalow hem ligger i Sam Hughes, ett National Historic Neighborhood, har nyligen blivit kärleksfullt uppdaterad, är ljus, rymlig och mycket bekväm.
Detta fullt utrustade historiska hem har ett komplett kök med gourmeträtter, mikrovågsugn, kaffebryggare, mixer, allt redskap och disk. Matsalen rymmer fyra, och har vacker inredning. Alla verktyg ingår även kabel-tv och höghastighetsinternet! Det finns en 42 tums platt-TV i vardagsrummet och en 32 tums Smart TV i sovrummet, en HE tvättmaskin / torktumlare och ett underbart charmigt vintage badrum - komplett med lyxiga sängkläder. Villa Blanca Mariposa sover två personer bekvämt (upp till fyra personer) med ett sovrum som sover två (king size säng) och ett halvt sovrum
som sover upp till två gäster på en Twin Trundle Bed.
Med det underbara vädret i Tucson kan den stora bakre uteplatsen dubbla som ett annat vardagsrum, matsal och kök med bekväma utemöbler och en vacker rostfri grill.

Great spot in Sam Hughes area or Tucson

This is a nice cozy unit in a great area of Tucson. You are walking distance to the University and have access to a lot of amenities within a short walk/drive. Erica is an awesome host who provides lots of local area content and is readily available to answer questions or help with any issues that crop up. We will look to stay here again next time we are in Tucson.

This was such a wonderful stay for us! Our daughter was having knee surgery and we wanted to be close, since we live a distance away. This home was clean, cool, well stocked, convenient location to everything, thoughtfully arranged for guest comfort, loaded with little notes and gifts and special treats, comfortable, and completely welcoming. Erica was a fabulous, responsive, generous host. She has her roots in Tucson and knows the area well. The kitchen is stocked with every appliance, cookware, utensil, serving bowl, toaster oven, even a Kitchen Aid! You name it, it was there! We were blown away. It's like walking into a home you own! Erica is the BEST! We loved her and her kind and gentle demeanor. If you want a great place to stay, this is it!

Family vacation

Cute home in Sam Hughes

We had a great stay with Erica. The house is in a great location and absolutely adorable. The outdoor seating is great, if the weather was cooler we would have spent a lot of time there. There was unfortunately an issue with the refrigerator, but I assume this is a one-off as it was a new refrigerator. Overall it was a great spot for our family!

All the reviews on this place were spot on! This place was perfect! The yard to just relax it was a bonus! The host was on top of all communication. I am so picky when it comes to beds and this one was so comfy I fell right to sleep. We will be staying again!!! Highly recommend!

Anniversary Getaway

Erica made us feel right at home in this 1920 pueblo. The home was very clean, full of charm and was fully stocked for our stay. She added personal touches that made our getaway even more special. We highly recommend this little home - we'd love to come back sometime and enjoy it all over again.

Perfect Stay

Very beautifully remodeled, furnished and welcoming home in the heart of Sam Hughes. Everything in terms of kitchen needs was available. Amenenites including shampoo, lotion, towels or anything else possibly needed was generously provided. There was even coffee and tea. Check in was seamless. Perfect instructions. Erica was also the perfect hostess.

College move-in

Fantastic location - very close to the University. I was worried about a historic home in Arizona in August but the air conditioning was super cold. Everything was perfect. We will definitely try to stay at this location again in the future.

We LOVE Villa Blanca!

Villa Blanca was the perfect place for our stay. Our trip was bitter sweet moving my youngest daughter from Califonria to Tucson for school. The accommodations were incredible, comfortable, relaxing. Erica is the friendliest host ever and has furnished the home with everything we needed and more - including a bottle of wine - delicious after a 16 hour drive. No more hotels when we come visit. Thank you, Erica!

1920’s style

Erica is amazing! I loved the welcome we received and all of the amazing accommodations. My parents house was built in 1921. I love the original style of the house. The original hard wood floors, cabinets, and walls. Brought back so many memories for me. This home has everything you need to cook, do laundry, and so much more.

We spent the weekend moving our daughter into the dorms and couldn't have stayed in a more convenient location. We love the architectural charm of these homes and it couldn't be decorated more appropriately, equipped with any accessory you may need. Thank you for the hospitality...we'll be back. Jack

Villa Blanca Mariposa - Review

We stayed at Villa Blanca Mariposa for a week in August, and can only echo the comments of previous reviewers: Erica keeps the place in immaculate condition, replies promptly to any communication, and goes out of her way to make her guests feel welcome and at home. Our concerns about traffic noise from 6th St proved unfounded too. In fact, the location was perfect for us (easy walking distance to the University of Arizona). The only improvement we did suggest regards the kitchen where a cranky chest of drawers and a somewhat erratic set of utensils makes cooking on the (fantastic) gas stove a little cumbersome. That's almost nitpicking though - we totally enjoyed our stay and would be back in a heartbeat!

Charming home, charming visit!

Villa Blanca was a lovely place to stay for our visit to Tucson. Having lived in Tucson for 7 years, I was happy to find a well furnished rental close to the university and all the things I love. Erica furnished the space beautifully. The bedrooms were spacious and the master had lots of dresser space. The half-bedroom was small but sweet. The kitchen has every appliance, dish, cookware, and utensil I could possibly need (and I cook a lot). Overall, it was very comfortable and homey for the three of us. A couple of notes....if you plan to bring food and cook, there is not a lot of dry good storage space in the kitchen. It is tiny and although functional in terms of how it is outfitted, not so functional for storing food that does not need to be refrigerated or plugging in the fabulous appliances. The icing on the cake? Erica was very generous with our check-out time when my husband got ill from food poisoning the night before we were due to leave. She adjusted her schedule for cleaning and prepping the place so that he could rest and get it out of his system.

Wonderful Tucson Home

We loved this rental. I am from Tucson and love this style of home which is typical of Tucson and the Sam Hughes area. Erica has restored this house with obvious care and appreciation for the architectural details that make these homes special. Tucson friends and family who visited during our stay were charmed and impressed. We had to keep things neat because everyone wanted to look around. Our niece spent one night and so loved the house that she threatened never to leave. The furnishings are complementary to the style and reflect the care and pleasure with which they were chosen. Maintaining the original details means there may be the occasional sticking drawer but that drawer is likely supplied with all the linens or utensils you could possibly need. The house is stocked with everything and Erica left a pad for us to note anything we felt was needed but every time we thought of something a brief search would turn it up. Erica seems to have thought of everything, even to providing keys on easy-to-find key chains, fresh flowers, welcome gifts, and bath products. The furnishings are not only beautful but also very comfortable. We arrived after midnight (3AM on our clock) and Erica was there to greet us. The only problem was that we so enjoyed talking to her we were up even later. However, once there the bed was very comfortable. The location is excellent. A block away is Grimaldi's - a very good pizza place, and a few blocks in the other direction is a great market and sandwich/coffee place, it's walking distance to the U of A and very easy to get around. We are very much looking forward to our next stay at Villa Blanca.

We loved our stay. The house was just as advertised with personal touches just for us. There were fresh flowers too! The bedding was so luxurious and bath towels so fluffy. Walking distance to campus!

I have loved to travel and annually embark upon both a beach vacation and an exotic destination in a far away continent - you will find exotic mementos from my travels adorn Villa BlancaMariposa and inspire the eclectic sampling of the world within. Growing up in Tucson in this very property, I wanted to name my special bungalow to honor my connection to my mother, my family and the heritage of the house, hence the name Villa Blanca which means white house - where my friends said I lived as a kid. While home in Tucson, I love to landscape, You will see me working on my properties tending to the mesquite trees, Peruvian apple cactus a native willow or assisting guests at Villa Blanca and other homes. I have always enjoyed cooking - entertaining friends and family and hosting many social events, and look forward to hosting you during your stay in Tucson!

My parents were renting the carriage house house in the 1960's while attending the University of Arizona. Reading an ad in the paper the original owners of Villa Blanca - had listed it for sale - it turned out to be my parents landlords - who enjoyed the young couple so - and sold it to my parents over another buyer. With the assistance of my Grandmother for a down payment, My mother and father moved to the front house and raised us girls - in 2010 Villa Blanca passed through the generations from my grandmother, mother and sister to my self - for me to share with you as Villa Blanca.

Now it's your turn to make some memories and experience the warmth and love of a family home known as Villa Blanca.
