Convenient Location

Best Vacation for Moms Birthday

The location is perfect for walking to Canal Street, Mercer house, or any other historic location. The house is perfect for 2 couples or girls/guys weekend. We cooked breakfast each morning and either lunch or dinner allowing only one meal out. Great option for those not wanting to eat out every meal. Highly recommend the hop on hop off trolley. Made the ride to Forsyth Park enjoyable and entertaining.

Charming and comfortable

After many trips to Savannah, this was our first time staying in a house in the historic district. The house was quiet, charming and comfortable, and the location was close to some of our favorite places: Broughton Street, Pirate House, etc. Loved hearing the horns from the cargo ships. We had a wonderful stay!

Savannah Last minute Trip

Property was as advertised. Pictures were very accurate. The location was nice and practically anything you'd want was in walking distance. We all agreed we'd stay here again.

Great Friends Get Together

The property is quaint and historic yet has all the moderen amenities. We loved the location as we found we could walk almost everywhere and surrounding homes and nearby squares are lovely. We are four friends from college over 50 years ago but we would all definitely book this VRBO again.

Nice Quiet Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice place. Kitchen was the first I’ve ever found to be fully stocked for cooking. Very comfortable atmosphere and not much street noise. The only thing I would advise is add blackout curtains to the entire upstairs. Only because from sun up to sun down it gets direct light even with blinds closed and it caused the air unit to struggle a bit up there. It wasn’t bothersome as we spent most of the day out in town, but it would make a world of difference in terms of utilities.

We were all seniors over 70. It was not conducive to our needs the second bath was as downstairs and the stairs were really had to navigate. We got a parking ticket the last night for street sweeps which Ihave never head of. Not very happy

Spur of the moment stay in Savannah

We loved our spontaneous vacation to Savannah! The house was exactly as described; clean, updated kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities as well as showers. The house overall is very clean and up to date. Despite being a historic house, the house is equipped with central AC and ceiling fans in the bedrooms (important things when it’s 95 degrees outside). The beds were comfy and both rooms had closets with plenty of hangers, some shelving for clothes, and a luggage rack. Both rooms are located up a steep staircase (typical of older homes. It was no issue for us, but worth noting if you have mobility issues) and one full bath is located within one of the bedrooms. The other full bath is on the main floor off the kitchen. We did not utilize the small porch out back as it was boiling out, but it was quaint and cute with solar string lights. Check in and access to the house was easy. Parking is street only and metered, but was only $1/hr so I parked, paid for the day and left my car right in front of the house. Download the app for parking, it will make your life easier. Here’s the best part about this house; it is one street north of Broughton so we walked everywhere. Literally, put on those sneakers and walk to all shopping, dining, river walk, etc. We drove to Forsyth Park for an afternoon as well as Tybee and both were an easy drive and worth it. Would 100% recommend this rental again - we had a blast! And the firework show on the river was incredible!

Trying a Arbo in Savannah Ga.

Rating Details: The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was good, the rental is best for a family. With the 2 bedrooms upstairs and only 1 bathroom ( which is in one of the bedrooms) not shareable. The stairs are steep. I found the first floor dusty and when I looked at the A/C filters I could see why.( nasty). Location was okay, parking was a bit annoying, paying a parking meter early in the morning. What I like best was the artwork on the walls.

The stairs were very steep and having only 1 bathroom upstairs in the bedroom wasn’t ideal but we made it work. We would have appreciated a few extra blankets in the home. Best part about this home is the location. Across the street from a beautiful park. The tour trolleys and horse drawn carriages pass by frequently which is fun!

Must Love Dogs (LOL)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pictures couldn’t adequately capture the splendor of this house. Of course no actual dogs came with the property, but the hang as portraits in just about every room. Too cute! The brick fireplace separates the kitchen from the dinning was such an added touch! The bedroom and bathroom were pretty much equal in size, only one ensuite bathroom. The other full bathroom is down stairs. Anyone with stairs problems be aware of towering stairs leading to the bathroom. Older homes! The location was walking distance to everything. We parked and nerve drove again until we left. Hosts were accommodating and clean up instructions simple. I would make this my ongoing spot for travel to Savannah!

Very clean and walkable

Reviewer Comments: The place was exactly as described, very clean, the beds were large and comfortable, there was a beautiful small park right across the street. The only downside was the parking was on a meter that you had to pay daily at 8 am (or we just couldnt figure out how to work the system properly). The Lucky Savannah group is very friendly as well!
