Medan han var organist och musikdirektör av Savannahs Unitarian Church, som vetter mot Troup Square, skrev pastor John Pierpont Jr. den älskade julsången Jingle Bells, copyright 1857. År 1985, staden Savannah placeras en platta i Troup Square för att fira låten och dess Savannah rötter.

Byggt 1885, är vårt hus i ett lugnt bostadsområde 50 kilometer från Troup Square. De två sovrum, två och en halv bad fastigheten är full 2 vånings hus. Helt renoverat 2014, det finns gott om gatuparkering. Inom bekvämt gångavstånd från restauranger (det finns en inom 100 yards), Savannah floden, och allt det roliga och fascination av pre-inbördeskriget historisk arkitektur, vackra landskap, antikaffärer, etc.

Best location ever!

We will definitely be requesting this place again. Great location! You may want to explain parking better. We got a ticket on Monday morning and we were total oblivious to why. Love the stay!

Savannah Bananas game

We wanted a walkable location and this house was perfect. We saw alot of Savannah because we walked. Parking was very easy and right across the street from the house, the one day we used the car.

Savannah Weekend Getaway

Jingle Bells Square House was perfect for our group of friends. Its location in the historic district is convenient for exploring Savannah and within walking distance to the river. The neighborhood was quiet, with plenty of free on-street parking. The amenities provided were above our expectations compared to other places we’ve rented in the past, and the screened porch was a great spot for morning coffee. The house was clean from top to bottom, and the beds were very comfortable (including the sofa bed!). We enjoyed our stay!

Great house in Savannah

We really enjoyed our stay the the Jingle Bells Square House this past week. The house was wonderful. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance/utensil and spice you needed for preparing meals (fyi, no grill), great screened in small porch to enjoy the nice weather, fluffy towels and a Keurig for your morning coffee. The beds were not very comfortable and the house location was on the edge of the historic district but everyone in our travel party can recommend this house for your stay in Savannah.

Beautiful Historic House

This was our second time staying at the Jingle Bell Square House. It's a lovely home on a relatively quiet street. The interior is complimentary to the history and and age of the home but with modern conveniences. The kitchen is well stocked and very nice, the living area is comfortable with a working fireplace that is easy to use, and the beds were comfortable. There are quite a few steep stairs to go upstairs, so keep that in mind if dealing with limited mobility. The backyard is welcoming, as is the back porch. The pictures and description of the house are accurate. The location is pretty central and lovely. It was easy to walk everywhere. The property manager was friendly and communicative. Highly recommend this rental.

Great trip to Savannah

Jingle Bells Square is in a great location to tour the historic distrct and the River area. Great for walking with food and entertainment options close to the house. We loved the home. It was very comfortable and pleasantly decorated. The screened in porch are is great for sitting or drinkin coffee in the AM!

Historic Savanah stay

This property was everything we expected!

We had such a good experience with this house! It was the cleanest house we have ever stayed in, and I owned a cleaning company for 16 years! I especially loved the privacy of the screened porch and courtyard. The location was perfect for our walks to River Street and was quiet in the evenings for resting. I highly recommend this house for any Savannah trip. :)

Girls Weekend

My sister, niece and I have been planning a girls weekend for over 5 years and we finally made it happen! And we couldn’t have picked a more beautiful property! The location was perfect, the house was spotless and the owners were extremely helpful. We had the best time! We highly recommend this property.

We are a nearing-retirement age couple from Philadelphia with backgrounds in fine arts and restoration, an appreciation for eccentricity, and a limited amount of patience for shoveling snow - so Savannah is perfect for us.

Varför värden valde detta boende

When our son was clever enough to pass up the blustery New York area where he was born and enrolled in the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) in animation in 2004 we began thinking about escaping ourselves - at least for visits. He graduated in 2008 and has moved on to other challenges but we continue to be fascinated by Savannah, one of the most magical cities in the US.

For short and longer term visits we have stayed in quite a few Savannah hotels and a dozen or so furnished vacation rentals, so we have a good idea of what we want to find to make us comfortable, which has guided us in renovating and furnishing this house.
