Talkeetna hyrstuga har två privata sovrum på övervåningen. Ett sovrum har en drottning och två enkelsängar, det andra sovrummet har en full säng (vik ut tvilling tillgänglig vid behov). Great stay

Clean, cozy and great location. Just enough Talkeetna funkiness. Great communication with Marne, although very little was even necessary. Easy to find. Easy self check-in.

Perfect Place to Stay

Cabin 3 was clean and cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much. The host was warm and welcoming. Location was very cloze to the center of town making it easy to explore Talkeetna.

This gave us a good place to stay within driving distance to downtown Talkeetna on the way to Denali. Had a lot of space to spread out as well.

Perfect for Our Large Family Group

Our large family group (of 4) stayed in four of the rental units at Talkeetna Eastside Cabins. The kids enjoyed being in their own cozy, unique places. All of the units were clean and pleasantly better than advertised. If we are ever in the Talkeetna area again, regardless of the group size, we will return here.

Perfect cabin, great location

We rented the cabin the night before leaving for an adventure and it was perfect. Plenty of space, comfortable, clean and well equipped. The property is cool, too. Definitely described accurately in the listing and clearly gets a lot of love. The hosts were easy to work with as well

We loved the quiet location and short walk to town. The neighborhood cat was very friendly friendly. The bathroom was tighter than we would’ve liked, but it sufficed. The beds and pillows upstairs were extremely uncomfortable.

Absolutely perfect

Very clean and a great location. The small kitchen had a 2 burner stove and sink and small fridge. Very quiet location but close to downtown Talkeetna. This place had all the modern conveniences and was perfect for our 3 night stay. There are stairs but my 84 yr old mother was able to navigate them easily. Highly recommend and if we are ever back this way we'll rent here again.

Great cozy cabin

We really appreciated the prompt answers to questions and help with the everything we needed. The owners were a joy to work with. The only annoying thing was the TV and wifi was awkward. Which normally we could be unplugged but we're on a vacation away from kids and business that we needed to touch base with. Otherwise loved the town and people in it!

Quaint space

We had a wonderful stay here. The space could accommodate 7 people. LUCKILY we brought our own food because lines were LONG everywhere. We were able to store and cook food for four for a couple dinners. There’s, books, games & a Roku. We were very comfortable. We were also situated in the shade so when temperatures got high, we weren’t suffering. Nice walk to town. Would stay again!

Small vacation.

Came down to Talkeetna on the train from Fairbanks for a brief getaway. Nice cabin with many artsy touches. Manager/owner helpful and responsive. Only thing that was a suprise was the tightness of the bathroom. It worked for us, but if you are a big person, it could seem small. Nice binder with lots of information about the area. We appreciated being able to make breakfast and lunch at the cabin.

Very clean, peaceful and quiet.

We stayed in "The Cabin". It was clean, cool (it was hot outside), quiet and comfortable. We only had one night there, but would like to spend a few days there the next time we visit Talkeetna. It is much further from town than we expected, not a short walk. Perhaps riding a bicycle would be better if you don't want to use a vehicle to enjoy nature. Other than the unexpected distance to downtown, the property was very welcoming and peaceful.

Wonderful hosts and comfortable stay

I made a reservation one month ahead of the date I was planning to go to the property and Mary called me to check with me if everything is going fine. That is when I realized I had made a mistake in making the reservation. She was extremely helpful and nice in getting my booking changed with VRBO to when I was actually planning to go there without changing me any additional fees. The place is amazing and well kept. It perfectly suited our family of 4 and is very conveniently located close to downtown. There are ample books to keep you occupied if you wish to read and all information about the surrounding is aptly provided. We enjoyed our stay and would come back to the property when we come to Talkeetna next.

A fantastic place to stay

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Talkeetna Eastside Cabins. Despite our early arrival from the train, we were invited to come early and then greeted with cheerfulness and enthusiasm with our desire to make an outfit for the Talkeetna tarp ball, which was happening during our stay. The owner (who was really awesome) provided a tarp and multiple colors of duct tape and we proceeded to have the perfect afternoon of laughter and family time while we put together some outfits. We had such a blast! We had dinner in town and then a wonderful kid friendly night at the Tarp Ball. Later that evening the adults relaxed in the sauna and it was the perfect end to the day. I can't express how much we enjoyed our stay here. We are already planning a summer trip to come again. Thank you so much for making our winter trip so memorable. -The Cramer's
