En härlig liten bostad i den pittoreska staden Talkeetna Alaska. Jag började detta projekt hoppas att gå i pension där men som vi alla vet förändras saker. Jag har tillbringat den bättre delen av 4 år som bygger detta hem och försöker göra det bäst. Det erbjuder 1 sovrum med en king size-säng, en bäddsoffa för 2, komplett kök, badrum med tvätt och gratis wi-fi. Det finns gott om aktiviteter i området, inklusive fiske, jakt, sightseeing, vandring och cykling. Talkeetnas restauranger och pubar är några av de bästa som bland annat Denali Brewing, som är det näst största bryggeriet i Alaska och bara 15 minuters promenad från huset.

Great cozy cabin in Talkeetna!

During our 9-day stay in Alaska, this was our favorite place we stayed. The cabin was super cozy, quiet, well appointed, with a super king bed. Best of all, a nice living area where we could stretch out and relax. Big TV, dining table and really nice kitchen. Best of all, the pillows were great and not like the flat pancake ones in hotel rooms. We would stay here again for sure!

Relaxing Stay

Perfect spot to relax for a few days! The house was clean and equipped with everything needed to be comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet but within walking distance to downtown. Appreciated all the extra amenities!! Highly recommend staying here while exploring Talkeetna.

We had lots of room and we were close to town but in a quiet place without train or plane noise. The washer and dryer were handy, and the host provided much-appreciated extra service in getting an item back to us that we left. My Keurig-dependent wife struggled a bit to remember how to make coffee the old-fashioned way, but otherwise we had everything we needed. 5 stars.

We had a great stay and the reason why I gave a lower overall was because our room wasn’t clean when we got it due to a mixup. This was resolved after calling and having someone come in to straighten up. We were happy that they were quick to fix up everything and we would stay there again.

Talkeetna cabin

Nice property in the woods. No closets to store the cleaning and maintenance items so they were thrown up on refrigerator. It was well supplied though. Outside needed some maintenance too. Overall we liked it and was good value for the area. Thank you!

Great location, Comfortable & Convenient

The cabin is comfortable with a nice bed. We were happy to have a washer/dryer to do laundry before going on our cruise.

First Alaska Trip

First time in Alaska and chose Talkeetna as base camp for a few days to explore Denali. Did not disappoint! Beautiful weather, adventures and cabin just minutes from downtown. Cabin was well maintained and looked just as advertised in the listing. Would certainly stay again if ever back in Talkeetna. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin!

Quiet Retreat

This rental was just what we needed, a quiet, comfortable, clean stay in Talkeetna. Convenient to nearby amenities. It's a bit of a drive as a stop before Denali, we got up very early to drive up, so something to keep in mind. The town is quaint, with a great view of the Alaska Mountain Range. I would definitely recommend this rental. The only thing really missing was that I did not find specific check-out instructions, like trash disposal, etc. unless I missed it. Great property, great location!!

Clean, cute, great location!

Only stayed for one night, but would stay again in a heartbeat. Unit was clean, new, beautiful! Enough space for four people, easy. Bathroom was large. Bedroom has a king bed. Couch has a pull out bed and so does the ottoman. That was a nice touch as two of the guests could sleep separately. It was only a 15-20 minute walk to downtown Talkeetna (we're slow walkers!). One of my friend's left her make up bag at the unit. The owner promptly contacted me to try to arrange to get it back which I thought was above and beyond. Overall, would stay here again!!

Stopover at Talkeetna

Jared’s immaculate and comfortable home was the perfect stopping point for us on our way to Denali. His house was easy to find. Didn’t have time to explore Talkeetna but looks fun.
