A Hidden Gem

Nice place right by the beach.

Great location. Condo was as expected. Only confusing part was that the WiFi name and password listed on VBRO listing was not accurate. The correct info was on a sheet of paper by the cable box. Other than, everything was great. Probably will stay here again.

Perfect place

This was the perfect place for our vacation. It had everything we needed. Was comfortable and quiet. Enjoyed our evenings on the back deck and the short walk to the beach pool.

Beautiful weather

Weather was beautiful. Condo was very nice, comfortable and well stocked. Advertised as “no need for elevator short flight of stairs”. Was a full flight of stairs that would have been very difficult for anyone with health issues. Walk from condo was a little difficult with bad knees as the dunes were high and sand very thick.

Awesome experience

It was everything it said it would be! Right by the pool and the beach. The beach isn't very busy, which was nice. The condo was clean, easy to access, directions were clear and had everything we needed. There are many restaurant and dessert places within walking distance. It was a nice place to be able to relax with my wife for the week. Thank you.

Wonderful and Relaxing

We had a wonderful time. Thank you for everything! We enjoyed being so close to the beach and the pool, especially with a little one. The bed in the master could use a update, but other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!

Relaxing stay

Comfortable stay. Unit was dated but adequate. Appreciated the washer/dryer unit. However, we were disappointed in how dirty the main room carpet was when we entered.

Great Location

In short, the place was located well, very neat, safe and great for adults or kids. Two problems for us were the air fresheners and the property was very dated. Either the fresheners or what they were covering up caused respiratory problems for me after the first night and even for a guest after playing cards for about two hours. As for the decor, that’s just our personal preference. Not really a problem. Overall, it was a great week.

Great condo!

We had a wonderful time staying in this condo! Loved the quick access to the beach and everything was very clean! The pool was very cold during our stay, so we unfortunately did not use it. We had no issues during our stay and would recommend it to anyone! One small note...under the amenities it lists DVD player, but we could not find one. It was no biggie, but just noting it in case that matters to someone. The cable and netflix, YouTube, etc all worked fine and we were so busy we didn't use it much.

Comfy and clean with a nice ocean view

A very nice time! There were so many niceties. There was some coffee in the cupboard, spices, paper towels, garbage bags, napkins, Kleenex, TP, two different coffee makers! So clean with big comfy sofas. There were games, 3 TVs to watch, a lovely balcony with table and chairs and 2 higher chairs to sit on. Oceanfront and the owners are so nice.

We moved to North Carolina in 1994. Originally from the Northeast, we often vacationed at the beaches from Long Island down to the Jersey Shore. Our family has always preferred the beach over the mountains.

Varför värden valde detta boende

When one of our friends in NC invited us to their place on Carolina Beach, we fell in love with the location. Carolina Beach, which is located on the northern shores of Pleasure Island, has all the charm of a small island yet is only a couple of hours drive from our home in Raleigh. Its proximity to the Port City of Wilmington, which offers excellent medical facilities, shopping centers, fantastic restaurants, a UNC campus, and an airport made it even more appealing. We knew then that someday we would buy a condo there ... which we did ... without regret.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Our condo is located in Sand Pebbles which is an ocean front complex, so we never have to cross a street to get to the beach. The private gated walkway to the beach keeps it somewhat private and not too crowded during the peak season. There are so many activities and eateries within walking distance that we rarely feel the need to drive off the island. Once you get there, you feel you are on vacation and ready to enjoy a fun and relaxing time.
