Enjoyable stay.

The only suggestion i have is if the host would provide a check in guide. Something that provides guidance including where to take out trash; check-out procedures - what to do with linens; TV operation; running the heat, etc. Even dining suggestions.

100 steps to Beach!

Very good place to stay. We had an internet problem (AT&T fault) and owner worked hard to get things resolved. Place was clean and as described. It is not huge but you are coming here for the beach not to sit around the house. Even though it is in Pacific Beach it was very quiet. Neighborhood felt safe, lots of shops and dining/drinking within a 5-10 minute walk, including grocery store. Really could get by without a car. Beds were very comfortable. Great sunset views at the beach and the beachfront walkway is great. Would definitely stay again.

Great Getaway

710 Diamond is a great place to vacay with the dogs. Juan does an excellent job keeping the place clean and ready for guests. This is our place to stay in PB.

Ideal Location in Pacific Beach

The property was as advertised and a truly great location. We had our two dogs with us and it was easy to take them on walks on and near the beach. Would enjoy staying there again.

This abode is awesome! Clean, great location-close to everything and all our activities! Excellent communication with owner. Safe neighborhood, and 1/2 block from the beach/ocean.

Perfect Place to Stay

it's about a half block from board walk & beach. you can hear the waves your so close. Our trip was a little interrupted by the Hurricane which was only a rain storm. I would highly recommend this place and will stay there again.

This property was perfect for our family! Just steps away from Pacific Beach. We enjoyed spending lots of time at the beach and riding the beach cruisers on the boardwalk. Everything was comfortable, convenient, and clean. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Excellent Location

Overall great experience. You can hear the ocean from apt. We unfortunately arrived when the temperatures were in the upper 80s and the living room really heats up with its southern exposure. Could use an AC in the living room as climate warming continues. We love that the location is very walkable to restaurants, the store and the beach. Highly recommend City Tacos! Also Bare Back Grill and Enoteca Adriano. Kitchen was well stocked. Patio is super enjoyable.

Family Vacation

We had a great 6 day stay. Great location. Walking to beach, coffee & lots of restaurants. Grocery store walking distance. Kitchen was well equipped, we cooked every day. Boys enjoyed the beach equipment. Fans available, NO A/C . Cooled off at nite. Beds were comfortable. Would stay again.

Amazing Space!

The location couldn't have been better unless we were physically on the beach. It was close to the beach, the boardwalk/walkway near the beach and Crystal Pier. My favorite part was that it was close to restaurants, stores and nightlife and completely walkable. My son took advantage of the bikes a few times riding on the boardwalk/walkway. The kitchen and bedrooms were nice and comfortable. The patio was nice and loved that it was so quiet and cool. Beach breezes were the best!

Location is good few houses away from beach entrance.

communication is fair. This is a pet allowed rental, cleaned nicely. There is no DW, but have racks. Kitchen well stocked. Master Bed had enormous furniture for size of room. No outlets easily accessible in master bedroom. Overall great location.

Great option for comfortable Pacific Beach vacation

This is our 3rd year staying at this condo and it continues to work really well for our family of 5. You simply can't beat the location and value of this condo. The front patio is our favorite for breakfast and evenings watching the ocean. Parking is convenient and right outside the unit. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance and having bikes available was great for morning rides on the boardwalk. We utilized the laundry this time ($1.25/wash and $1.25/dry coins required). There's no AC but there are numerous fans available for use throughout the home during the day. Sometimes communication with the owner was hit or miss but he's very kind; we found it best to just call. We're already planning to return next year for a 4th time. Some of the furniture is starting to feel its age but we spend most of our time at the beach anyways. So glad we found this gem a few years ago!

A hidden gem steps from the beach

We just completed our second stay at this condo and we’re already planning to come back next year. This place is truly a hidden gem in Pacific Beach. It’s just as advertised and has been perfect for our family. The price is right as we spend our days on the beach and just need a safe & comfortable place to sleep at night. Nice size well-stocked kitchen with 2 bedrooms & a living room, but the patio is what really makes it amazing. You get a small view of and super easy access to the ocean without the expensive price tag of the boardwalk. And the included parking spot makes coming and going so easy. We will continue to stay here every year as long as it’s available. A small vacuum, more hooks in the bathrooms, and collapsible drying rack for towels & suits would be helpful. Owner responds best to phone calls.

Great Spot

Great location. Ocean just down the street, great for walks along the beach. Bike/walking path all the way to Sea World. I just used one bike, it was great for a 16 mile ride. The weather was cool during February so we did not use the patio. Unit needs an outdoor grill. Communication with owner and property manager was lacking before visit. VRBO facilitated a call with manager. Check in information was sent 3 hours before arrival. Grocery and drugstore within walking distance. Plenty of bars and good places to eat within a mile. No need to use a car, everything is walkable.

Summer Vacation

Our stay was generally pleasant. The location was excellent, providing easy access to the beach, restaurants, and coffee spots. Having a parking spot included was especially convenient during the busy summer season. The kitchen was well-equipped, and a nearby Ralph’s grocery store was handy for extra supplies. There was also a liquor store within walking distance. The neighborhood was quiet, and we enjoyed spending time on the patio in the mornings and evenings. A few points for future guests to note: We had difficulty receiving check-in instructions from the host via VRBO messages, so we contacted VRBO customer service. Did not receive check-in details 3 days prior as VRBO states, They gave us the host's phone number, contacted host a couple mins after 4 Pm because we still had not rec’d the check-in details, we received the instructions via text immediately after contact. It would be helpful if the host clarified this process in their listing. Additionally, despite the listing stating a king-sized bed, it was actually a queen. In addition there is no AC, but fans and open windows helped keep the place cool in June. Despite these details, our overall experience was enjoyable.

Month on Diamond

My husband and I stayed here the month of March. The unit was clean and the manager Juan was very helpful and responsive. We asked for dowels to secure the windows and sliding door while giving ventilation and more towels, vacuum cleaner and some cleaning supplies. He responded immediately. Kitchen cookware was excellent. Could use some serving spoons and a few more bowls and nice coffee mugs. The twin beds were too noisy for our grandchildren to stay more than once but new box springs are on order. Bikes- one missing the front wheel and the other barely rideable. “Sleeps five” is a stretch since one person would sleep on the couch. Master bed was comfortable but as others have noted, noise from the adjoining apartment is really annoying. Not sure we will return because of this. Would strongly advise adding some wall insulation.

Fab locacation

Property was as advertised . Would go again . The only bad issue which really was a shame was when contacted the property asking for check in details 3 days prior to getting there no response . I messaged 3 times still no response (very stressful) my son who lives in us called the property they then risked checkin details. We were already on the plane on way so it wasn’t till we arrived that our minds were put at rest . I feel we could have had a reply explaining the details Would be sent on a certain date . Thus would have saved the stress rather than no contact at all. On our last day I messaged to ask if we could use the parking space for a few hours after checkout time as we check out at 10.30 and not flying till 7.00pm we didn’t get a reply so made alternative arrangements . At 10.00 the morning if checkout I got a call saying we could stay in the apartment till 3 . Thus would have been really good to have known earlier as we had already arranged things . Apart from total lack of communication everything was great .
