We were in town for a wedding and wanted a comfortable home to enjoy the special occasion along with Mission Beach. This is one of the best stocked VRBOs I have stayed in! The home was sparkling clean when we arrived and everything was as described in the listing. The communication with Drift Vacation Homes was excellent. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit.

Amazing house!!

This a great place and we loved staying here!! Plenty of space for our family of 5 and lots of storage space!! The kitchen was well stocked and they provided an abundance of items for the beach. We also enjoyed riding the beach cruisers along the bay almost every day. Ended each evening with a great view of the Sea World fireworks right from the balcony!! Would definitely stay here again!!

we loved the house the beds are so comfortable the house has everything you need and the house is so close to the beach and bay area you can walk to the beach.there is alot of areas to walk around

Wonderful home

The location was excellent, easy beach access and walks that were wonderful, sunny and relaxing. We enjoyed the space with bathrooms for all making it easy for the adults to have space and adult size kids to relax around the house. The kitchen was well stocked with many place settings. And the hosts were very responsive.

Amazing house!

Great house and even better management. Family trip and this location is beyond perfect! Will definitely book again in the future. House was spotless and very well kept. Only problem was we wanted to stay longer. Thanks for the amazing stay!!

Beautiful beach house

We escape the desert each year to enjoy the beach & cool breezes. This house did not disappoint! It was exceptional! Spacious bedrooms, full size laundry, bathrooms were huge! Location was important for us. We were right in the middle to access beach & bayside. Had a question about garage codes & received immediate responses from management. We are definitely coming back! Loved every minute of our stay. Thank you

Lovely Property

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. It had everything we were looking for. The garage was roomy. Was able to get our SUV and a small car in it without problem. It had AC which was a requirement of ours. We brought our small dog and we appreciated that amenity. The home was clean and roomy. Everyone had their own room and bathroom which was a plus. Plenty of storage in the kitchen and bedrooms. Boogie boards, lounge chairs, a wagon made it easy to get to the beach. The location was perfect and all in all, made for a very lovely vacation.

Almost perfect experience

Recommend you place a notice in the home for renters to read upon arrival. The notice should explain about the ants in the area and to not leave any food items out in the open. Even an open box of cereal with the bag folded and box closed is not immune to the ants.

Great Beach House and Location!

The house and location were perfect! We enjoyed a week long visit over Christmas with 6 family members and one dog. The house was exactly as pictured. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked most meals there. The dining room table was great for eating dinner and then playing games. The living room was perfect for relaxing and talking. We especially enjoyed the shuffleboard in the Loft space, playing matches late into the evening. The location is excellent! We went on daily walks or runs along the boardwalk and the beach, exploring the ocean side and the cove and park. We took day trips to La Jolla, Balboa Park, Seaport, Ocean Beach and the Hotel del Coronado. We had a 7 passenger Ford Explorer that fit perfectly in the garage. I highly recommend staying here.

Perfect Family Beach Home

We stayed here for 8 nights in July and this was the best beach rental we’ve ever had! We are a family of five with three teenagers and the bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect, plenty of room for everyone, comfortable and clean. This house was extremely well appointed with all bed and bath linens, shampoo, conditioner, bath and hand soap, paper products, cleaning supplies, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach gear, etc. The kitchen appliances were new, including a wine fridge, and was well stocked with every dish, silverware and small appliance you could possibly think of, we have never seen this in 20 years of renting at various beach locations! The house is located in a quiet section of Mission Beach, so easy to get to the beautiful beach and bay and walk to shops, restaurants and Belmont Park with a quick drive to Sea World, the zoo, the Midway, La Jolla, etc. The home is exactly as pictured in the photos, decor is modern beach and the loft with shuffleboard was perfect for the kids. The rooftop deck was fantastic for water views and the Sea World fireworks. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend!

Best location for walkable activities!

We had an exceptional experience with this property. We have a mid sized family so finding homes near the beach with ample/appropriate sleeping space is always hard. It was ao nice to be able to wake up just spend the day walking around and not have to worry about parking. Also close to restaurants and coffee (5 min walk)... so perfect. The house is cute and cozy. Who knew we would love shuffleboard so much?! I would recommend this property for families for sure.

Perfect beach walking location

House was great and well equipped. Fun shuffleboard table and cool place. Good cross breeze with windows open and great sitting area for large group. Great master and rest of bedrooms were good sized, all with private patios. Great sunset for viewing a block away. Also, great coffee pot and K-cup maker as well as espresso maker for pods. More stairs than expected so not good for babies, elderly or injured. Lots of construction in the area and sometimes difficult to navigate but I’m sure that’s temporary. Need a blender that works better, didn’t crush ice on any setting even though high end model. Very nice stay and would highly recommend..

Coastal Modern Beach house

We had an amazing time at this location. Close to everything with large two car garage! Parking was soo easy and accessible. Master suite was beautiful! The two extra bedrooms with bathrooms were very accommodating for the whole family. We loved it!

Perfect place to stay on the b beach with family

Everything was great except we removed the rug in the living room due to allergies and there was about an inch of sand underneath. This was the case for every room with rugs! Then we had trouble with the garage door opening from inside. Communication with management was not great. The woman on the phone had a bit of an attitude when I wasn’t happy about getting an answer sooner than she said it would be. Hot water in the guest room was an issue but was fixed. So multiple ppl had to go in our room while we were gone. Everything else was great.

Great spot!

This is a perfect spot if you’re traveling/staying with friends and/or family! The downstairs open floor plan is great for cooking, eating and hanging out together. A/C was a life saver during the heatwave. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook up a gourmet meal….even a proper set of Henckel knives!!! The beds are comfortable, the showers have phenomenal water pressure! The location is perfect, it’s quiet and close to the bayside or the beachside. It’s close enough to everything but also far enough away that you don’t hear any late night party goers. An earlier check-in time would be great….half of the day is already gone by the time you’re allowed to check in (4pm), I mean you are paying for a FULL day. It would be different if they pro-rated the check in day but they don’t. It’s really the only downside to this place. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect stay for family or friends!

We had a blast staying here! It was almost difficult to go enjoy all the beautiful amenities that were close by because everything in our home were so much fun and welcoming! We enjoyed our family time here with the cozy living space, grill, and games!

Mission Bay Home

Property was conveniently located. Well furnished and had most items one would need for cooking a variety of meals. The HVAC unit is a bit loud for light sleepers. The bathrooms and showers are starting to show their age. Overall we had a great time.
