Nags Head Paradise

We have stayed at 2 Fish Cay multiple times and it never disappoints us. Prefect location for a great price. Walk out of your unit onto the beach. Nothing like drinking your morning coffee while watching the sun come up over the breaking waves.

Small cottage, Big Heart!

The cottage was just the right size for a family of 4 and 2 dogs. We loved the location too! We had more rain than sun but were able to find other things to do! The owner was friendly and helpful!

Cozy cottage

This is a no frills place to stay, but if you want close access to the beach and enjoy a cozy cottage, this is it! We have stayed here twice and loved it. It is also pet friendly! The owner is super nice and communicates well.

Another great trip!!

This was our families second time staying. The location is very peaceful and provides everything we need. There is an outdoor shower and foot wash area which is always helpful. There is a full kitchen with dishes available. The host left a nice care package with some goodies and extra supplies that all came in handy. Beach was just a few steps away and the house provides a comfortable area at the top of the dune with lounge seats and a hammock to watch your kids from and to view sunrises and sunsets!! The only problem we encountered was a slight pet urine smell in the living room area which was taken care of with some spray. Otherwise, the place was as perfect for our family this time as the first!! We look forward to more trips in the future! Thank you for a wonderful Nags Head getaway!!!

Great place with dog friendly environment

Great location right on the beach and dog friendly. Kitchen was stocked with cooking and eating utensils, a charcoal grill is also provided. Easy check in and check out process. Stores and things to do near by. Locals are friendly. Great beach get away. Looking forward to coming back again!

Excellent Location!

We enjoyed our stay with our 2 pups. The location and cost cannot be beat! The beach is literally steps away along with a nice seating area at the top of the dunes. The cottage itself was roomy and had everything you need from kitchen supplies to wifi. There are some things that could be better, like the furniture and beds weren’t the most comfortable, windows needed to be propped open, and the position of the toilet is pretty awkward with a wall right next to it and other one about a foot in front…but I do believe the price is fair when considering these things. There’s a public beach access right next door, and our reactive dog barked a lot at the activity over there. Something to consider if you have a “guard” dog. All in all we had a very pleasant stay and would certainly consider staying here again.

Beach escape

Great location just steps from the ocean & pet friendly. Clean & close to restaurants, the pier & wright memorial. Only complaint we had was that after getting to the facility the instruction book tells you to keep the AC at 75degrees. We like it cooler than this. They should upgrade the AC so guests can adjust to their own liking. This should be disclosed prior to booking.

The location is great, a few feet away from the beach and all kinds of restaurant and activities nearby. The guest is very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Easy access to Beach

My sister and I had a great getaway at Whalen-N-Jennings. We really enjoyed the cottage and easy access to the beach. The wood lounge chairs at the top of the Dunes were a great place to relax and watch the surfers. We hope to stay there again.
